Seriously, I have never had a similarly vivid, bizarre, or downright bittersweet dream. It's really odd for me, and I want to know what you all think. I also really want to write it down so I don't forget it.

((It should be noted that my knowledge of Thor canon and Star Trek: Next Generation canon is extremely limited. Honestly, I could not make this s**t up.))

—————————————

The dream started in a room that I suspect belonged to the Enterprise. I was alone, unpacking a suitcase. A few random people walked in (without knocking, the jerks), and invited me to go someplace. I had nothing to do, so I agreed.

We went to some sort of shopping mall type place, which was moderately busy and paid no mind to our out-of-place outer space getups. For some reason, Data came with us and was co-existing as Loki, while the other crew members assumed variously ridiculous identities (someone was Antman, another was LittleBigPlanet's Sackboy, someone was a Big Daddy, and one of the girls became some very odd steampunk version of Anne Hathaway's character in The Princess Diaries). I'm not really sure who I was supposed to be, all I had was a white sundress and sandals. (I am female, so this is not particularly bizarre for me. However, I WAS walking around a shopping mall with Loki, Antman, Sackboy, Subject Delta, and steampunk Princess Mia.)

However that happened, we got new clothes (and apparently, identities), and came across a group of kids telling stories. The kids were about five or six years old, sitting on the floor and taking turns getting up to speak. They were stories about monsters and good versus evil, and in the stories the monster was always slain by the hero because the monster was evil and the hero was good. That was the extent of the moral.

Data/Loki and I were getting along really well, and we had what I believe to have been a really extended, civil discussion about what constituted good or evil. We didn't really agree, so I decided to make a point. I asked the kids if any of their stories had been about Frost Giants. They said no, and Data/Loki immediately got really angry at me. That, I suppose, was my plan. We'd been getting along swimmingly and I figured he had no actual intent to hurt or kill me, so I had him stand behind me and hold me in a chokehold while I told the story to the kids. The story itself was silent, even though I was talking, so I don't know what it was about. The kids were visibly scared of whatever might happen. I was probably a bit more dramatic than I should have been in telling the story, pretending to struggle and faint a few times. The sound came back when I ended with "even though monsters are dangerous, that does not mean they are evil."

We left the shopping mall after that and went back home (to the Enterprise? I have literally no idea what was going on), and discovered that it was morning. Or something. I don't know, we all went back to my room and I made pancakes and we watched something moderately interesting on TV. I cleaned up the kitchen really quickly because I can do magic, and the crew got called away to work on something. Data/Loki asked if I had anything else to do that day, and I told him no, all I had to do was unpack.

We decided to go back down to the shopping mall planet place thing, and ran through a couple of floors of empty stores. Even though we didn't do much of anything, it was still fun. We ended up in an almost theater-like place with an empty black stage and a spotlight. He gestured to the stage and asked me what it was I had to say. I said nothing and walked away.

Data/Loki followed me and we got in a fight, though I'm not entirely sure what it was about. I get the feeling that I felt he was accusing me of something, and this was certainly not the case. The argument went on for a long time, and I ended up shouting at him and crying. He snapped "How dare you lie to me," and actually pinned me against the wall. Somehow, I ran off and ditched him, and went into an ice garden, and nearly froze from wearing a sundress into an ice garden because I am incredibly intelligent.

We both wound up on a different place, in a warm sunny meadow for someone's wedding. Everyone was in their bizarre alter-ego outfits. I didn't actually watch the wedding, even though I think it was for two of the crew members. I stayed up on the ramparts of the castle, watching the sun try to decide whether it wanted to rise or set. I get the feeling I've actually been to that castle, but I can't possibly remember when or where it was. Possibly France?

Back home, and Data/Loki is desperately trying to get me to talk. I keep ignoring him, and flee the lunch table to head back to my room. I threw everything out of my still-packed suitcase in front of the door. I remember people at the table mentioning that there was some show on TV that they all wanted to see, and thinking that I have at least an hour. I found a note, detailing an apology from Data/Loki in neatly written bullet points that I can't remember beyond two of them, one which said "Day 7 was an entirely bad idea," and another that said "How could I alienate the gentlest mind on the crew this way?"

I threw that aside and started to change clothes when my door opened. I hid behind it, since I was in a state of undress, and demanded to be left alone. Data/Loki meekly informed me that I'd missed dinner with the Captain and crew (somehow I managed to have the world's only Star Trek: TNG dream without Patrick Stewart in it). I told him I didn't particularly care. He noted that all my clothes were piled against the door, and I repeated that I didn't really care. He went on to say that he was inviting me someplace, just to talk, in twenty minutes, and that he'd wait for me to show up for thirty minutes. I checked the clock as he shut the door and (presumably) left.

I did some mental math (now you guys seriously better comment here, I did MATH for this, do you understand? MATH!), and figured out what was going on. I had spent ten minutes reading and getting changed. Twenty minutes until the meeting made half an hour, and another half hour made an hour. For whatever reason, Data/Loki had gone out of his way to not only talk to me, but would completely miss whatever important/fascinating thing had been on TV. I locked the door, shoved the bed in front of it, and finished getting dressed.

Time flew by implausibly fast as I pulled on some clothes and stared into the mirror. I swallowed some pills before realizing that I'd already taken some, making this an overdose that I'm not entirely sure was unintentional. Must've been one hell of an overdose, since I coughed up one or two of the ones I'd just taken, and was greeted with bright orange fluid in my mouth. I fell over and hit my head on the floor. I started to fade from consciousness, watching the clock and hearing Data/Loki shouting and trying to force open my door.

—————————————

I have NEVER had a dream in which I commit suicide. I didn't wake up feeling like this was a nightmare, because to be honest, it wasn't. It was interesting and kind of fun, but at the same time I have no idea what to make of it. Please please please lend me your thoughts, I'd love to hear what you all think it means.
