Darkheart had come from a long way to visit this mansion, since he heard it had an amazing collection of avian wildlife. The owner payed a ridiculous price to get in, but Darkheart planned to steal it back later. "What a ripoff..." he mumbled as he entered the enclosure with his own bird, Edgar, on his shoulder as always. The curious raven looked around at the other birds as Darkheart wandered further into the room. "This is nice..." He had a bit of a smile on his face until he turned a corner and came across Tsubasa's cage. "What the hell..." A look of disgust crossed his face as he stepped closer and made eye contact with her. "Why are you in here?" he asked with barely concealed rage.

"I see..." he said quietly. "My name's Darkheart... And this is Edgar." He motioned toward the raven on his shoulder when he introduced them, and the raven cawed to say hello. "I imagine you don't like it in there, hmm? Does the owner often let you undo the shackles like that?" He pulled down his dark hood to reveal his bright blue hair in an attempt to seem more friendly, even though his expression remained cross.

Darkheart smirked a little and leaned closer to her cage, his hands holding onto the bars. "Well... Between you and me... You won't be in there much longer..." He looked around at the room, and especially at the cieling. "Do you happen to know of a way I could sneak into this room later?... I had planned to steal back the entry fee... But maybe I'll steal you instead..."

Darkheart smiled at her, his angry expression finally softening into kindness. "I'll stay here long enough so that it isn't suspicious, then I'll come back tonight. I'll send Edgar ahead of me to make sure it's clear." With that, he pulled his hood back up, winked at Tsubasa, and started looking around at the other birds nonchalantly. "What a fine specimen," he announced so that if the owner was listening, he wouldn't notice anything wrong.

Darkheart spent about another 20 minutes looking around at the other birds before he finally said a gracious thank you to the owner and left. Once outside, he found a small forest nearby and rested in a clearing while he waited for the sun to set. How could anyone keep someone else in a cage like that on display... It sickens me...

As soon as the last vestiges of sunlight disappeared from the sky and the last star came out, Darkheart sprang into action. "Let's go, Edgar," he said to his raven, who flew overhead as Darkheart ran back to the mansion and around to the open window that Tsubasa had pointed out earlier. Darkheart waited underneath the window as Edgar swooped into it and quickly landed on one of the bars of Tsubasa's cage. He cooed softly and tilted his head as he looked around the area for anyone watching, as well as waiting for some response from Tsubasa herself.

The raven jumped when she banged her head on the cage, but he obediently stayed put until she got up. Then he turned and flitted through the window and landed back on Darkheart's shoulder.

Darkheart heard the noise and got a little worried, so when Edgar finally exited the window, he quickly jumped through the window and made black wings of shadow appear so that he could better control his jump. Once inside, he quietly sprinted to her cage and looked around to see if anyone reacted to the bang. "Stand back," he whispered to Tsubasa and pointed one of his fingers at the lock of the cage. He channelled high power electricity through the finger to cut it open, and the door swung open as soon as he removed the mangled remains of the lock. "Can you fly? Or do I need to help you out the window?"
