Years ago the heir to the Ice Elementals was promised one of the daughters of the Cat tribe as compensation for a felled family member. Years later when it comes time to collect on this debt he runs across a snag, the member of the Cat tribe that he wishes to be his slave is not one of the daughters, it is the younger of twin sons who, due to coloration, is considered cursed and a blight on the family.

Name: Misali
Age: 18
Appearance Human: Misali is quite small for his age standing at a measly five foot one as a result of malnutrition. He is porcelain pale and quite scarred in places though oddly none on his face or neck where they are overtly visible. He has light, silver hair that is long enough to pull into a small rat tail leaving the rest to frame his face in messy chunks. His sharp almond shaped eyes are hetero chromatic with the left being a neon green and the right being a bright neon blue. His clothes are dull and worn, ripping in many places and patched in others. The tip of one of his feline ears has a small chunk missing from it and his tail is missing fur and is often bandaged.
Appearance Animal: In his cat form Misali is sleek and pretty much pure white. His eyes take on a more cat like shape and seem to glow in the dark with the way they reflect light.
History: Misali was born into an era where people of pure white coloration were highly discriminated against. Being the only white to be born into his family he was considered a blight and is kept locked securely in the cellar and highly abused when things go wrong for the family for it is believed he is cursed. Misali cannot see in color only in black and white.

Meet Chase:
http://s1091.beta.photobucket.com/user/Kate_Slaughter/media/Chase-1.jpg.html?sort=3&o=46
Chase has always had a confused and rather complicated life. He can't remember much of it. Just that he woke up one day in the middle of a frozen lake and could control ice and snow and such. It was all very strange to him. He's been around for centuries, growing with the times though he doesn't seem to age. He's his strongest in the cold weather and at night, and weak during summer hot days.
He's calm, rather polite and distant. But he's really such a softie on the inside. He doesn't do well with bullying, he can't stand it and gets angry very quickly over it. He's also got some anger issues. If he gets too angry, the entire area surrounding him freezes over and it starts to snow heavily, wether in the house or not.
He lives in a huge mansion by himself, often getting lonely. Well when he found an old journal from some of his apparent family in there and it said that he had claim on another person, he felt sick at first about it. But then he realized how lonely he was, and how nice it could be to have someone around. And he decided to go for it.

Arc 1:

Chase meets with the family from the Cat Tribe and finds Misali, the one member of the family that they had hoped to keep hidden from him.

Misali watched from the window of his room as the staff of the family manor fluttered about the ground. Someone important must be coming in today, as that was about the only thing that could cause the family to be in such an uproar on the grounds like this. The small boy stared wistfully at the door to his tiny room, it was always locked from the outside, he so longed to go investigate all of the commotion on the grounds.

He was slightly surprised when a stranger walked into the grounds, even more so when his father and mother greeted them in the court. White blond hair, light eyes, and clothing that hinted at an aristocratic ancestry. The boy looked like an ice elemental, someone Misali had only heard whispers of.

When the other male looked up for a moment Misali's eyes met his. The young cat boy gasped and moved quickly from the window, his father would kill him for that.

Chase woke up slowly that day, taking his time with his coffee and shower, getting dressed slowly and taking time to do his hair with his frost, trying to make it perfect for no other reason than to be procrastinating.
He sighed once he was done, there was no point in delaying anymore. He went out to his Cadillac and started the engine, driving at the speed limit and just mentally preparing himself for today. He wasn't entirely as excited as he thought he would be. It was more like business than anything. Ugh. More work, delightful.
He pulled into the drive and got out of his car, the home owners already rushing to blow smoke and sunshine up his a**. Oh great. He listened to them babble absentmindedly as he looked over the manor. It was a rather nice home, not really his taste though. As he glanced up at the top window, his eyes met with a young looking man, who quickly jerked away from the window. Chase arched an eyebrow, nodding at the window, "Pardon my interruption, but what is that room there?"

At Chase's question Geru Starcast, the homeowner and patriarch of the family, mentally cursed. It only took a cursory glance at the window in question to confirm that it was the one housing his youngest son. Thinking quickly he created quick lie to discourage the young man from thinking too much of Misali.

"Oh nothing really, it's just an empty room, we keep it locked because it's supposedly haunted and we don't like to encourage the children to scare themselves." Next to him his wife Marie gave a disapproving look.

She couldn't understand why her husband was so intent on keeping Misali hidden, if the young man before her wanted him it would technically get him off their hands for good after all. A small part of her also added that it would get him away from the taunts and abuse the poor child suffered at the hands of the rest of the family. Perhaps she would pull her husband aside later and try to convince him to introduce Misali to Chase.

In the room Misali's heart was pounding in his chest. He'd been seen, by a stranger no less.

Chase nodded, not really believing the man before him. He was very good at reading people and their lies by now, he had been around for years. It had certainly helped during his gambling phase. "Ahh, I see. I love ghosts. Maybe sometime we could walk up and I could see this haunted place." He smirked absentmindedly, just a small lift of the corner of his mouth, "Maybe convince it to play with me."
He sighed, "Alright, shall we go in and get to business?" He was rather tired of the day already and just eager to get it over with and go home and sleep. It was rather warm for a snowy day and it was making him feel weak and drowsy, putting him into a bad mood easily.
His mind kept straying to the boy he had seen in the window. It had clearly not been a ghost. That was a total lie, he could see it for crying out loud. Did this man take him for a fool? Well, he would have to teach him better than this if he kept it up throughout the day.

Maria smirked at the obvious sarcasm in Chase's voice. "Perhaps you would like to take a walk up there with me before you meet our daughters, I'm afraid like all women they tend to take a while to prepare for meeting someone." She said sweetly, offering her arm to the younger man and making it quite clear to her husband that she was not giving him a choice in this decision.

Her husband grumbled something unintelligible and went into the parlor, presumably to goad his daughters into hurrying up. As soon as he was out of earshot Maria leaned in and said quietly. "You know he's lying about who was in that room, so why not come with me and meet the member of the family you're going to like?"

Unlike her husband Maria was well versed in how to work contracts to her advantage, and Chase was here because of a contract. The best possible solution for both parties would be if Misali was chosen as his companion.
