I picked these ones out because of the racism, sexism and weird-ism depicted in these movies. Snow White runs away from her step-mom (who has major self esteem issues) and moves in with 7 dwarfs and cleans and cooks for them. And yes, It's true. The original fairy tale was "Snow White and the 7 perverts". 'oh but it's okay because disney kidified it' ... I aught to smack you for that >.>
Fantasia isn't any better, the original has depictions of slavery and racism, which by the way they took out in the remake "fantasia 2000". Dumbo gets taken from mom who, mind you, was protecting her baby from getting teased; and the lead crow's name is "Jim Crow" ...hint hint... Bambi turned me into a hardcore omnivore. Typical of Disney to kill moms.
Song of the South is agreed by many to be Disney's most racial film brought to the public eye. Alice in wonderland is just weird, okay. A talking rabbit, mad hatter and a pot smoking slug. If that's not weird to you I don't want to know you.
Belle in Beauty and the Beast doesn't truly fall in love with the beast. it's just Stockholm Syndrome. But, hey, it worked! Disney knew they were bending history when they wrote Pocahontas. She was ten when she met John Smith, not 16, and they never fell in love. In fact, several years later they met again and she called him 'father'. (Disney incest much?)
Sleeping Beauty dies from an inevitable fate. Might as well called it cancer instead of "a p***k of a spinning wheel".... Well, If it weren't for merriwether she would have died, instead she just falls asleep, and awaits for true loves first kiss. Instant classic. Princess and the frog was originally supposed to be "The Frog Princess" based off of a Russian fairy tale, but to attract the negro audience they made her black and from new orleans. Did you know her original name was supposed to be "Maddy"?
Tisk tisk tisk. Bad Disney. Very very bad. Make a movie that isn't racist, sexist and with no subliminal messages.
