User ImageFalk tossed his life on the bed provided to him and glanced out the balcony. He sighed in relief that he got a balcony room and not one crammed in a corner where he'd have to stare out a window and resist the urge to climb through it and scale the roof just to get some fresh air and stretch his wings and tail.

His roommate in the other room shrieked with glee and shouted something about the colour 'purple', though the large wall space between them made it nearly impossible for him to hear. Falk climbed on the bed and sat on it. The bed was larger than he was used to, but it was still a nice size. He could probably fit on it as a dragon. He'd have to check out sturdy it was first, though.

Falk hopped off the bed and quickly changed into his dragon form and gingerly reached over, pressing down on the bed. It made no noise of strain. He put both his claws on the bed and leaned on them, still no groans from the bed. In a quick motion, Falk jumped on top of the bed and laid down, curling up so his whole body was on it. The bed remained up and a contented purr rose from his throat as he closed his eyes and his lips curled into a smile.

User ImageMeanwhile in room 2, Linka had flopped on her bed and was grinning from ear to ear. Purple was her favourite colour. Well, besides fire. So the massively purple room was ideal to her tastes. Having a room coloured fire probably would come later when she lost control of her powers.

Her luggage was put by her closet for her to sort out later. She made no indication to wanting to unpack yet. Linka took a deep breath and exhaled. It was her first time being on her own, so getting a room all to herself in a brand new place made it feel like she was on top of the world.

Her thoughts went to her roommate and she sat up, adjusting her glasses, and called out. "Oi, roommie. How do you like your room?" When she got no answer, Linka shrugged and laid back down again, relaxing in her bed and enjoying the moment of liberty and the start of a new life.

User ImageUser ImageHe was bored. Falk lifted his head and glanced around the room in search of something to do. He stood up, forgetting he was a dragon, and jumped off the bed, smacking his head against the ceiling and crashing into the wall causing a few pictures to fall. He shook his head and quickly transformed back to his human body and rubbed his head gingerly, feeling it throbbing already from the trauma he just caused it. "I keep forgetting..." he growled quietly while wincing. The frantic calls of his roommate was heard and he glanced up to see her storm in the room. "It's fine," he reassured. Her face seemed far from convinced, though.

"Maybe you should take it easy, huh? I know it's great being on your own but god, show some restraint, eh?" The young woman said with a lop-sided grin. "By the way, I'm Linka." She walked into the room, holding out her hand and took his.

"Falk." He replied with a grin, showing his sharp fangs. Linka noticed it, but made no mention. "Well," he said. "I think I'm going to go outside for some air and explore the school. See you, Linka! Nice meeting you." And with that, he darted off.

Linka remained still and shook her head. "Eager like a child. I guess it doesn't hurt to look around, though." She said and left her dorm, closing and locking the door behind her.

User ImageEdward stumbled down the hall with luggage in each hand. He looked up at the door number and smirked, "Well, this is the place. I wonder what kind of roommates I will have." He struggled to get the door open, but eventually he prevailed. He walked in and instantly noticed how nice it was. Everything was neat and had a place. Nothing like his own house where things were strewn about as if they were garbage. "What a nice change", he said with a shimmering smile. He made his way to his room and laid all of his stuff down. He examined the surrounding area and came to the conclusion that no one was currently home. "I suppose I will have the meet them some other time then", he said starting the long process of unpacking.

Once everything was laid out in his bedroom, he spent approximately an hour trying to find the perfect place in his room to put his trombone. He finally decided on the area to the right of his bed. Once he had time to relax, he realized how tired he was. He stretched out on his soft bed, and was instantly taken away into a slumber.

"Dammit!" She cursed while spinning around and darting back to her dorm. How could Linka have so carelessly forgotten her iPod? She needed that to practice her fire dancing with. As easy as it was to imagine the music, it just wasn't the same. When she reached her dorm room and twisted the knob, she noticed it was unlocked. Linka stared at it a bit and blinked a few times. She had locked it, and that weird roommate of hers didn't come back, at least not what she saw.

Linka carefully opened the door and called out. "Helloooo? Anyone home?" Meanwhile, she conjured up a perfectly circular fireball behind her back, holding her left hand there in case she needed to lob it at some intruder. "Falk, is that you?" Why was she so paranoid some one broke in? The door wasn't forced open so obviously some one had a key. Maybe it was Falk.

User ImageEdward awoke to the sound of the door slamming shut. With a groan, he lifted himself into a seated position. He yawned with great force and slipped on his comfortable house shoes. Edward inched toward his door and opened it slowly. "I feel so stiff." he said under the breath. He took one step out of his door and heard a young woman yell. "Freeze mister! Who are you, and what are you doing here?!" Edward froze up like a statue, and flung his hands up. "I'm your new roommate, Edward! Can I please lower my hands now?" She nodded. "What a way to become acquainted." he said scratching his head and laughing. The fireball dissipated in her hand, and she returned his statement with a genuine smile. "Soooo..What is your name?" he asked, eager to make a new friend.

((OMG it's okay! ; o; I totally forgive you just, no more please~ n___n I'll go along this time. C: ))

Linka smiled lopsidedly, laughing a bit and said. "I'm Linka. Falk is our other roommate who took off. He's a little short and weird," Linka walked across the room and held her hand out to him, though quickly checked to make sure it wasn't still blisteringly hot by waving it a bit and offering it to him again. "Sorry, I'm a fire elementalist and I tend to get a little nutso with my power." She laughed a little again.

"So, what do you do?" She inquired. Linka may as well get to know her roommate if she was going to be hanging out with them at home.

(Ok! I promise it won't happen again. heart This is only my second day role-playing, I'll get better! Ok, back to it!)

User ImageEdward saw her waving her hand and smiled. Wow, a real fire elementalist. I never thought I would see one of them in person. he thought to himself. He extended his hand to meet hers. "So, we have another roommate, huh? What is he like?" he said, eager to be in a conversation.

"Well, I am a wizard!" he smiled brightly. "I channel my magic through my horn to create many different effects. It is a very different approach than that of my brothers." he said blushing. Desperate to change the subject, he looked around in awe. "I'm still not used to how beautiful this place is. It is nowhere near close to being home! And that's a good thing." he said laughing kindheartedly. "Enough about me! Tell me about yourself, I'm curious." he said smiling.

((Omg if this is your second day RPing then you are doing pretty freakin' good. O_O))

Linka laughed nervously and scratched her head a bit, thinking about their other roommate. "Not much I know about him. He's small, red haired, kinda loud and weird. He's pretty nice, though." She smiled lopsidedly and shrugged a bit.

When he mentioned the beauty of the place and compared it to his old place, she opened her mouth to question him about it more, but was cut off when he asked about her. "Oh," she said mildly surprised. "Well. I grew up with my aunt because my parents didn't know how to raise me. My aunt Sabrina can control all the elements, but I only know the fire element so she taught me as much as she can, then I came here." Linka shrugged half-heartedly.

"I can't control my fire all the time, but I can do a stand-up job when I'm dancing. It's pretty weird." She explained while shrugging again. "I've never met a wizard before, that's really neat. What kind of stuff can you do?" She became interested in seeing what sort of magic he could conjure. Patiently, Linka waited to see what he could do.

User ImageEdward listened intently to what Linka was saying. "I can't wait to meet him, he sounds like he will be a riot!" he said grinning. "From my experience, loud and weird can be a great combonation." he said laughing lightly.

As Linka was explaining her childhood to him, he couldn't help but be amazed. "Wow! She could control all four elements? That is simply breathtaking!" he exclaimed, jaw wide open. "So far, I really enjoy this academy. The people are nice, and everything is so beautiful and elegant." he said chuckling lightly.

Edward listened as Linka explained her fire to him. "I'm sure fire can be quite pesky at times. I have faith that you will get it under your grasp in no time!" he said with a reassuring smile. "What kind of stuff can I do?" he said starting to blush. Edward, after a brief moment, built up the courage to respond. "Well, let me show you!" he exclaimed. Edward dashed to his room to grab his trombone, and returned in a flash. "This is my pride and joy, as well as my weapon of choice." he said lightly, holding up the mystical trombone. "I created it from my own magic energy, it took a lot out of me!" he answered laughing. The window to their living room was cracked slightly, and a bird was perched outside. "Watch this." he said looking at Linka. He began playing a sweet, lyrical melody that began ever so soft. Edward powered this melody with his magic, and suddenly, the melody transformed into something blissfully beautiful. He stopped, and removed the horn from his lips. Edward pointed to the bird by the window. "I can put people and creatures to sleep with this particular melody. But, it only works on weak willed people right now. I need more magic to have it affect someone such as yourself." he said smiling. "I also have another ability." he whispered gently. He began to play something technical, and at a significantly faster tempo. His magic pulsed through the horn, and an invisible razor appeared outside of his bell. The razor sliced faster than the speed of sound and shattered the living room window. Immediately, he stopped. "I am soooooo sorry!" he exclaimed. "I didn't expect it to be that strong. It can be a little uncontrollable at times, and it doesn't always go where I want it to go...." he said drifting his gaze towards the ground. "I am working on a new style to freeze people in place, but I'm afraid that is going to take some time." he said with a heavy sigh. "Please forgive me for breaking the window! If there are any cleaning equipment lying around, I will clean it up right away!" he said starting the hyper ventilate.

She chuckled a bit when he gawked about her aunt. She was special and dear to her, but there was a lot about her aunt he didn't know. Particularly the training she made her go through in hopes she'd learn how to control the four elements, not just fire. She kept that information to herself, though. Tragic stories were too cliche. Linka watched curiously as he retreated to his bedroom. Taking the temporary alone time to her advantage, she took off her shoes and moved over to the corner couch, flopping on to it and putting her feet up. When he came back out, she arched a brow at the instrument.

Linka sat up on the couch and crossed her legs at the ankles and watched him intently, when he began to play, her eyes closed and she smiled, listening to the music. When Edward finished, she opened her eyes and turned to the bird and laughed a little. "That's cute." She murmured, then glanced back to him as he started to play again. Linka subconsciously began to nod to the tempo but stopped and jumped when the glass shattered across the room.

It took her a moment to piece together what happened, but when he started to panic, Linka snorted a bit, then burst out laughing. "Edward, relax. Don't get all bent out of shape about this. Accidents happen!" She jumped up from her seat and darted to the pantry where the broom and dust pan were. As she walked past him, she nudged him playfully and said. "You're pretty good at playing that, though. I'm impressed. My dad played the trumpet in a jazz group. God, he was so good at it."

Linka went over to the window and swept up the glass that had spilled on the floor. She checked the window sill for any sign of the bird, but fortunately it looked like it had flown away. She swept the glass onto the dust pan and placed it carefully on the sill and picked up the pieces there. One piece, however, slipped out of her hand and sliced her palm. "OW!" She yelped, jumping back and clutching her hand. Blood started to seep from the cut and she did a little pained dance on the spot before darting over to the kitchen sink before the blood dropped on the floor. "Ahhh... Edward can you grab me a bandage? Jeez this stings." She winced a bit and clutched her injured hand.

User ImageWhen Edward saw Linka scurry back with a dust pan, a sigh of relief caught his breath. "Sorry, I guess I'm used to the reaction my father would of had. He never liked the idea that I channeled my magic through an instrument. He wanted me to be like my other brothers, and stick to the primal areas of magic." lifting his head up to look at her. She complimented him, and he instantly blushed. Heart racing, he answered, "Th-hh-anks. I really appreciate it." he smiled, genuinely thankful. "Wow, your dad played the trumpet?! I always liked listening to trumpet when I was younger, especially jazz." he said eagerly.

Edward was sitting patiently on the couch looking at the ground when he heard Linka scream. "But, where are the bandages?" he exclaimed. He didn't even wait for an answer before rummaging through every cabinet and drawer that was in sight. Finally, Edward was victorious; not only did he find bandages, he found some ointment as well. This would help the healing process tremendously. He jumped up and down with blissful glee, and dashed to Linka's aid. "Here, let me see your hand." he said gently reaching. "I'm sorry if this hurts, but it will help a great deal in the long run." he said as he delicately applied the ointment. Edward then wrapped her hand with quick precision. "My mom taught me a couple things in the healing arts. It may not be magic, but it's better than nothing." he said smirking, trying to make her laugh. "There, all done. How does it feel?" he said smiling brightly.

Despite the pain, Linka laughed out a little. We're all weird here. Just wait till I accidentally set something on fire." She ran some water over her hand by tapping the faucet. The water was already lukewarm and it soothed the stinging a little. Touching the faucet again, it shut off and she stood aside for Edward to work on her hand. She held her hand out to him and winced, inhaling sharply through her teeth when the ointment touched her cut. Tears formed in her eyes and she tilted her head back and tried to blink them away, but they ran down her cheeks instead.

When he wrapped it back up, she pulled her hand back to herself and turned around on the spot trying not to curse. "Jeeeeeez that stuff stings worse than the cut itself." She said through a strained voice while laughing. Linka sniffed and wiped her eyes from the tears and blinked twice again. "Okay. I'm good. Thanks a ton, Edward." Linka smiled to him gratefully, then turned back to the window sill and sighed.

"Maybe we'll just leave the rest of that for the cleaning crew or something when we get a new window. I don't much feel like cutting my other hand." Linka laughed while moving over to the couch and sitting down, holding her injured hand like an injured animal.

She glanced up to Edward and shrugged. "Feel like talking some more?" She smiled to him hopefully.
