Went to get my Mirena put in today.
Turns out my cervix is small and would not open up at all.
So the doctor wrote me a prescription for Misoprostol and told me that we will try again next month.
Apparently it dose make the insertion much easier since it makes the cervix very soft and dilated.
..but those side effects! XD
If you took it at all.. how bad was it?
I'm reading so many mixed things about it. x_x Some people it's horrible! Other people it's not that bad.. I just want somewhat of an idea of what to expect.
and most of all I just want this ******** IUD in my body. lol

I wish I could help, but I got mine after I had my baby, which obviously means I did not have your problem.
I think that you should discuss your worries with your doctor. They will know your body and be able to better determine what risks you may be more or less likely to suffer.
