Fried's sexuality is up to debate to say the least.

Yes, Fried admires Laxus a bit obsessionally but I think it's more of like he's looking up to Laxus or a fanclub. It doesn't necessarily make him homosexual.

I would have to say it is unlikely that he is. Usually such a fear of women stems from either a fear of how aroused he becomes or a form of abuse. Personally I think he just fears Mirajane due to how powerful she gets when pissed. He's one of the majorly chivalric guys so that could be why he doesn't fight women.

Guys, he actually says he was only pretending to be afraid of women because he thought he should let lucy and cana win coz he was like "i owe them"
