Crazy. Given how early it was, relative that it wasn't even a decent dinner hour, the line was massive outside the Game Store. And it was cold outside, well also relative but it sure wasn't summer weather. And half of the people in line were surely those annoying twelve year old twats that had the dirtiest language on multiplayer. Sheldon couldn't help but stare as he walked towards the establishment, cigarette dangling from his lips.

This many for BlOps? Sure he was getting a copy himself, but that s**t was getting sent to his apartment - since the damn store ran out of care package reserves - and given how nearly froze last week for the Halo 4 release, there was no way he was going to do another Midnight release in this weather.

His yellow eyes scanned down the line as he took another drag of his cigarette, trying to pass the time until he finished it (he was counting the number of girls. And then the number of guys over 20). Sheldon was only here to put more money down on a few more reserves, but oh did the online option sound so much more pleasant right now.

Some of the little kids were looking at him oddly, making odd faces as he puffed away. Normally, he wouldn't really care since he was well in the distance from a building in a public space. But when Sheldon really thought about it, and looked at those kids, he couldn't help but notice that these kids were accompanied by some pretty big dudes. Big dudes who could beat him up easily ... and he wasn't sure how willing to go with his laze.

Well, there was the option to put out his cigarette and go and do his business in the store. But a quick glance through the window and past all the displays showed there was still an annoyingly long line of people still trying to settle their preorders for thisgame.

He could wait. There was an alley not too far from where he stood anyways, and hopefully a more reasonable place to smoke from prying eyes and scrutinizing looks of children.

Sheldon pulled the remainder of his cigarette from his mouth as he made his way down ... down - okay, further than he thought - and through the line and into the depths of the alley, not realizing there was another body who had the exact same idea that he had. And possibly, an even better one at that.

That was a wonderful smell. "Seems like a better way to deal with all of that," he remarked to the other guy when he finally stopped walking, bring his small piece of cigarette to take puff of it.

Though part of Sheldon could sympathize with the thrill of a new release, when he was younger it was at least a better game like Zelda or something. But the other part, the larger one had to agree with this guy because these were still those annoying twats online. "Makes ordering online a lot more ideal," he said between his own puffs of smoke before the cigarette was completely gone.

He wasn't sure about the whiskey comment though. Sheldon wasn't one to drink, finding it hard to take on too many vices at once... especially now. But it wasn't in him to judge really, to each their own. So, he shrugged it off. And more in favor of what the other guy was offering.

"Cheers," he simply replied with a smile, gladly taking the offered hit before passing the remains back.

"I think you're going to need more of that to get through the masses," he smirked, "and probably the game ... with them." He nodded to the line. "Or are you just someone who enjoys watching lines?" Because sometimes stupid s**t did come out of Sheldon's mouth after he took even one hit.
