I cannot believe I have to ask something, but...okay.
Here is my dilemma...
I am training:
Emboar - fire/fight Pokemon similar to Lucario - fight/steel Golduck - water/psychic Lunatone - rock/psychic Unfezant - normal/flying random - has the experience share.
I want to defeat the elite four and can defeat 3 of the 4 at best. I know one problem is revives, but my other problem is...what strategy should I be using with these?
The order of the elite 4 I have been doing is this:
Marshal - fight based Grimsley - dark based Shauntal - ghost based Masked Zelda - Psychic based
Emboar is my strongest in my team nearing level 70. Unfezant and "Rio" is over level 50, but everything else is under level 50.
Should I simply be training my other Pokemon first?
My next dilemma is finding a sun stone. I need it to evolve my sunkern.

Hmm... good question. Here's what I would do, train the Pokemon under level 50 until they reach about 60. Do the same with Unfezant and "Rio". I would always save my money!!! You're going to need that money to buy lots of Full Restores!!! Next, I would use Lunatone, Golduck, or Unfezant against Marshal because they would have a type advantage. Aganst Grimsley, I would use Emboar or "Rio". [Careful using Emboar aginst Sharpedo though and only use fighting attacks. Ex. Close Combat, Sacred Sword, Rock Smash etc.] I would also suggest finding a Dark type though to use against Shauntel and Caitlen. Lastly, I would battle everyone you see!!! [I know it sounds like a pain but, you're going to have too.] One more thing keep an Ice Type handy!!! It would be good against Alder the champion!!! [Unless if this is in Black 2 but, you need Ice to defeat Iris too.]Wish you luck!!! emotion_yatta

I am playing White 2. And...I have faced all of the elite four's pokemon. No Sharpedo to worry about this time.
Iris has dragons, I knew that. She was the old 8th badge. One dragon I remember was her Axew.
The Pokemon the entire elite four have are:
Marshal:
1. Throh - can be tough. 2. Conkeldurr - knows stone edge and earthquake 3. Mienshao - easy! 4. Sawk - easy if before Mienshao
Grimsley:
Liepard - use Emboar's arm thrust Krookodile - knows earthquake, energy ball, and dragon claw Absol - easy Scrafty - can be easy
Shauntal:
Coffin Pokemon - psychic/ghost Golurk - ghost/ground Lampent - ghost/fire Drifblim - ghost/flying
Caitlin:
Musharna - psychic - likes to use yawn She has a psychic/flying one that I can never remember its name Gothitelle - dark/psychic Okay, I forgot the last one, but probably because I beat it so quickly since she always uses a toughie before that.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, do you know where I can get my paws on a sun stone? If I can evolve Sunkern into Sunflora, then I will be really happy.

Note that Pinwheel forest unlocks after you've beaten the champion Iris. Not good for those who haven't beaten the elite four yet.
The best place would be Nimbasa City, but where? Have you played Pokemon White 2, Saya?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a decent question.
The scenario
Pokemon Studios - "Ghost Hunters 3" movie. To make a good movie (what I want to do), I must KO Golurk before scene 6 and I have 3 chances to do so.
Golurk - a ghost/rock pokemon His moves: Focus Punch, Protect, Earthquake, and double team.
My pokemon: Slaking Slaking - normal Ability - Truant This ability is why I have only 3 chances to KO Golurk. My available moves: Ghost claw (super effective), Work up (attack boost), Slash(not effective)
Each scene has a mulitple choice answer and depending on what I choose for my "line" will depend on what Golurk does.
Do any of you know the solution?

You can find a sunstone in Nimbasa city by talking to a man in the building north of the Pokémon Center.

Okay, thank you. That will help me a lot. Sunkern and another pokemon I have needs a sunstone to evolve. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CONGRATULATIONS! THIS THREAD HAS BEEN STICKIED BECAUSE I NOTICED THAT IT WILL HELP THE MEMBERS OF MY GUILD
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I figured out something with my earlier "Ghost hunters 3" question. You must have already passed the earlier films in order to pass this one. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For Pokemon ruby, sapphire, and emerald, is there a certain strategy to getting the Master ribbons for the contests?

How frequent will I see a dunsparce on route 20 on Pokemon White 2?
By frequent I mean:
Too many times to count Common, but not annoying Others are likely to pop up first Rare Happens only when "such and such" occurs.
"Such and such" could mean Pokemon outbreaks, rustling grass, specific season...etc.

Nine_tails askedI've been trying to train my ESCAVALIER in my Gen. 5 Pokemon Games, and I find this kind of Stupid: Escavalier's Pokedex Entry:Black Version: They fly around at High Speed, striking with their pointed spears. Even when in trouble, they face opponents Bravely.Seriously, What High Speed!? Its Speed stat is as low as that of a Rock type Pokemon! I was hoping to Teach him moves like: Payback, Revenge, Counter, Mirror Coat, etc. to make up for his Low speed stat, but Unfortunately, He can't learn any of those moves! So, Any tips on how to deal with Escavalier's Low Speed Stat issue?

You could also use a Quick Claw that make you Pokémon attack first most of the time. Lastly, you should just level it up. The higher the level, the higher the speed stat. Also, all of the stats will increase. I really hoped that this helped!

What if the Speed EVs are Maxed out(aka what if I get: "It won't have any Effect" upon using Carbos)? Terrance_Nicolas_Bogard You could also use a Quick Claw that make you Pokémon attack first most of the time. The Quick Claw Tactic I'm considering though.(If I can find a Quick Claw from a Wild Zangoose, Sandshrew or Sandslash)

So, you should look around a little bit. If you have beaten the Story that makes it easier but if you haven't, don't worry about it.

If the stats are maxed out, then other than the idea of a quick claw, then look at what specific moves will do.
If you recall...in contests, you had to learn what moves go good together. Example, agility and aerial ace will boost a pokemon's speed. Moves that raise evasiveness also will be good to use.

I just recently realized that my Dream World DURANT has the Ability: "Traunt". Personally, I hate that Ability, being as it only allows the Pokemon to attack every other turn.(aka it skips a turn before it can attack again) So, Any advice/tips on how to go about working with this ability?
