(Hello everyone, my name is Samaroo24-- though I prefer to go by Steven MIles, an online alias of mine. I am a serious [yet fun-loving] experienced roleplayer, aged several (about 4 or 5) years, and I am enthusiastic to have joined this group, and Gaia itself. I thought I'd do a little ice-breaker, especially so since I'm not involved in anything yet, and offer a certain thing I've done in school as part of a writing activity: group stories. I'll start off with a phrase of a few sentences, providing as much sensory detail as possible, and anyone who wants to can follow up on it. Also, it'd be nice if you could say a bit about who you are-- just make sure to separate OOC and IC!)
The frostbitten wind, numbing and harsh, whipped against my partially-uncovered skin as I trod, mechanically, through the tundra. Only one thought was emblazoned in my mind, that I must find shelter before collapsing. Each limb of my worn body cried out against my every movement, desperately attempting to stop me, crying through pain, "Stop! Just stop!" I knew I couldn't stop, however- stopping meant death, and death meant an unfulfilled lifetime, a minuscule, indiscernible blip on the vast radar of time. My tragic, pleading thoughts came to a screeching halt, however, when I saw it. Hope spread through me like a warming beacon of fire had sparked before me, and my circuitous trek was over as I scrambled towards the obscured figure in the midst of the violent, unforgiving snowstorm...
(Now it's your turn! Turn it into anything you like, but try not to make it too long- and leave an opening at the end. Anyone can try! :3)
