Hey everyone this is yet another one of my stories or more precisely a brand new one... truthfully I was going to do a revision of the one I already have here on Gaia, but this particular idea came to me when I was eating dinner tonight, and so I thought... why not run with the idea? Anyhow this story shall be another crossover between Conan the Adventurer animated series and the anime/manga of Inuyasha.

Plot: An abandoned baby girl is discovered one day in Cimmeria, immediately she is taken in by the village blacksmith's family, and throughout the years a mysterious pink glow comes from her left side.

Chapter 1: Baby Sapphire... The Little Sister of Conan

"I tell you Ingrid those boys of mine can really pack it in especially Conan." a woman proclaimed

"I swear that boy will be as muscular as your husband in the years to come Mira." Ingrid said

"Isn't that the truth *giggle*... wait, did you hear that?" Mira said

It was a regular early morning in the village of Cimmeria where two women were at the river washing the laundry, one was Mira the village blacksmith's wife and the mother of Conan, and the other was Ingrid her childhood friend and a hunter's wife. The women in the village would often gossip about their families antics, however on this particular morning it was only the two of them, and it wasn't long until Ingrid could hear what Mira had heard... the crying of an infant child. Immediately the latter threw the laundry into the basket and ran to where the sound had come from, carefully she made her way through the tall grass, and moments later emerged within her arms was a pink blanket wrapped parcel that had somewhat calmed down. Taranis the village blacksmith hearing word that his wife took off to investigate the noise she heard, went after her to make sure she wasn't harmed, and was surprised when she chillingly glared at him as he opened his mouth to speak.

"Be quiet you oaf... you'll wake her up." Mira scolded

"Her? What do you mean her?" Taranis asked

Taranis carefully pulled back the soft pink blanket to reveal a now sleeping baby's face, it was quite obviously hadn't been in the world for very long, and they headed back to their home to discuss the whereabouts of the infant girl's family. Meanwhile in another time and place a man and a woman were beside themselves as their first born child... their daughter was now gone from their lives. Later that night in the Cimmeria blacksmith's home dinner had just been finished when a messenger had arrived... no family in the surrounding area was missing a baby let alone a girl. It was now obvious to them that someone had abandoned the poor sweet thing, the poor 'sweet' thing was currently having the time of her life... pestering Conan as she babbled happily upon tugging on his hair, and much to the amusement of his grandfather who couldn't help but chuckle at the antics.

"So someone just upped and left her to the elements did they?" Taranis asked

"What should we do dear?" Mira wondered

"We could always keep her around, I mean look at how well she's getting along with Conan *chuckle*" Lug Conan's grandfather said

"Father she's not a horse." Mira said

"Ow ow ow... cut it out." Conan said

"Goo goo gaga *giggle*" the baby 'declared'

"Think that's funny well, how about this?" Conan said gently tickling the baby

The three adults looked on as the little girl squealed happily in delight as Conan continued to tickle the little infant, feeling that they were being watched both their eyes turned, and that's when Conan shocked them all when he pointed at the baby.

"Sister?" Conan asked "My little sister" he stated solemnly

"And what's your sister's name Conan?" Lug asked

"Sapphire of course... her eyes are as blue as the gem itself." Conan stated

"Sapphire of Cimmeria... has a nice ring to it, what do you think my dear?" Taranis asked

"Her eyes do resemble the gem... well it's time for a certain Conan and Sapphire to go to sleep now for the night." Mira said

"Goo goo gaga... *yawn*." Sapphire said

As little Sapphire eyes drooped did a pink light began to shine on her left side just below the heart, the light began to grow all the more brighter, and as soon as it appeared did it die down before disappearing. The adults were shocked but knew that their newest addition to the family possessed a very powerful magic... however what it was exactly they did not know. The following years passed on by quickly since Sapphire had been taken in by Conan's family and currently was she being chased by her now naked somewhat angry brother... Conan went for a swim by himself and Sapphire took it upon herself to snatch his loincloth. Threatening or encouraging words could be heard throughout the village as the siblings continued to run in the streets.

"By Crom... when I get my hands on you sister you will be nothing but pig food." Conan cried out

"By Crom I am blessed for not having a small wee-wee like you do." Sapphire called out

"It AIN'T small." Conan bellowed

"Good morning you two." Ingrid called out to them

"Greetings Ingrid." They called out

"Conan... Sapphire it's time for lunch." A voice rang out

"By Crom..." Conan began

"It's mother... at least after lunch we'll be helping father in the shop." Sapphire said happily

"You don't really care for what's considered women's work?" Conan asked

"I'd rather be pounding and shaping metal on an anvil for the rest of my life, besides you'll be needing a good blacksmith who can make well made armor when you lead knights in battle, and I am far better than you in metalwork even father says so." Sapphire razzed at him

"I thought he said that so I wouldn't slack off... but your right I will need my sister's skill at my side, that and my loincloth while I am at it." Conan said snatching the article

Ignoring the squawk from his sister Conan put his loincloth back on before heading back to their home, everyone in Cimmeria knew that Sapphire was far different from all the other females in the village, and not just her unique healing ability but also that she considered there were no barriers between that of 'man and woman's work'. It was a constant battle between mother and daughter at the said matter, but in Mira's heart she knew that her daughter was that of a warrior, and as she saw her children make their way to their house she heard snatches of their conversation. How Sapphire proclaimed that she would become the Cimmerian blacksmith like their father and their grandfather was just like at how Conan would become the leader of the band of knights that he always said he would become one day... no matter what it took to achieve the said goal and saying that the duties of women could easily be taken up by a man if he actually tried hard enough. A yelp could be heard as the laughter of her son was suddenly ceased by a sharp kick, soon the two had finished setting the table when their father and grandfather came in to eat, and after the meal did Tanaris take his children to the forge for their lessons in smithing. Later that evening when the two kids were heading home after drawing the bucket of water for the night, did they notice the sadness in their parents eyes, and wondered what had happened that would make them look so upset.

"Mother? Father? What's the matter? What's wrong?" Conan asked

"Did... did something happen to grandfather?" Sapphire asked

"Sapphire there's something your mother and I have been meaning to tell you... for a very long time now actually." Tanaris said

*A short time passes*

"What do you mean you found me? Than where did I come from? Why was I left there?" Sapphire demanded

"We don't know the reasons little one and no one in the surrounding area had even lost a child let alone a girl, and you wouldn't remember Conan since you were very young but... you were the one who gave your sister her name." Mira said

"So Sapphire might not be the name my birth parents have given me... I won't give up until I find out what happened that I would be abandoned for in the first place. By Crom I swear that I shall do so in blood that I make such a vow." Sapphire vowed slicing her hand

More years have passed since that day until one night as Conan and Sapphire were trekking with their grandfather, when all of a sudden many fiery tears fell from the skies, and the three of them made a break for it. When it was over did Conan and Sapphire check the craters before pulling up the unusual metal, immediately the rocks were given to their father, and from it did the three of them work endlessly. Making a great deal of weapons and tools from the now dubbed 'star metal', however the greatest weapon of them all was a sword, and it was sealed away in a crypt until Conan was 'man enough' to claim it. However all was not happy as one such day did Sapphire suddenly disappear from the world by a mysterious light when her glowing body was near the refined star metal. Was this the gods doing or another maliciousness force? Whatever the reason did it strangely enough send Sapphire far into the future... near the Higurashi shrine to be precised, and through a DNA test was it discovered that she was indeed the long-lost daughter of Hotaru Higurashi. Needless to say that Hotaru was overjoyed at reuniting with her long lost daughter, however all Sapphire( Kagome her birth name was) wanted was to head back to where her real family was, now that she knew what had happened to her, and truthfully hated the large noisy world that she was now a part of... especially since everyone refused to call her by her name which was Sapphire.

"I'm so glad your back Kagome, how was school?" Hotaru asked

"By Crom how many times do I have to tell you woman? My name is Sapphire not 'Kagome' and if you must know I far prefer to be working on my father's forge." Sapphire/Kagome snarled

"That was the name those people gave you not your family." Hotaru explained gently

"By Crom are you that incredibly stupid wench? THOSE PEOPLE ARE MY FAMILY AND YOU ARE JUST SOME DAMN STRANGER IN MY LIFE." Sapphire/Kagome bellowed

Hey everybody here is yet another chapter... truthfully I have to say that I have absolutely NO clue somewhat at how this particular chapter will go... I guess it will mainly be at how Sapphire/Kagome and Conan reveal to their friends about their recent unusual behavior.

Chapter 2: A Bond of Siblings Remembered

In a town's large open market did a group of warriors were checking out the weapons mainly consisted of swords and daggers that a merchant was selling, however one warrior in particular was looking at some jewelery that another merchant was selling, and that's when he noticed it... a necklace with a bright sapphire gemstone. Asking the merchant how much it was, than at the asking price did the merchant jaw dropped as he was asked to remove the necklace from the sapphire, and quite literally fainted when the warrior did it himself much to the amusement of his companions. The warrior in question was none other than Conan of Cimmeria and his companions were... Jezmine the circus acrobat( and his love interest), the magician Greywolf along with his siblings Sasha and Misha, Needle the baby phoenix, and Zula the prince of the Wasai tribe. Laughter abounded as he wondered out loud at why the merchant would faint the way he did when all he asked was to remove the necklace from the gemstone.

"Conan for the past while you have been acting rather melancholy and even more so whenever you see a gemstone like the one you 'purchased' earlier." Zula said

"But you seem to be slightly happier now that you have this gemstone somewhat, why is that Conan?" Greywolf asked

"It's because of my sister... this sapphire is the exact same shade as her eyes." Conan said

"SISTER?" His companions cried out

"I didn't know big dumb barbarian had a sister." Needle proclaimed

"Why didn't you ever tell us you had a sibling Conan?" Jezmine asked

"I never told anyone because the hurt still remains even after all this time, four years ago my little sister suddenly vanished by a beam of light in Cimmeria, we searched high and low for her, and in the end... we couldn't find a trace. My little sister's name was Sapphire she was named after the same gemstone due to her unusual eye color and she was planning on taking over being the village blacksmith from our father... it was always her dream to do so. Just as my dream was to lead a legion of knights into battle one day, she always told me that she'd rather be pounding and shaping metal on an anvil for the rest of her life rather than forced to do women's work, and said that there are no boundaries between the work of a woman and a man's. In fact she said that if a man tried hard enough he too could do what is instructed that a woman should do and vice versa... her way of thinking was well known in Cimmeria. Not long after the night of fiery tears did her body glow with her special healing magic, her body would often glow from time to time, and ironically so did the star metal that was being forged." Conan explained trailing off

"She than disappeared which means... she has no knowledge that the rest of her family minus you are now under the spell of living stone." Jezmine said

*Conan nods*

"Sapphire... where are you now and are you safe?" Conan wondered

*Feudal Japan - hot spring*

*Sneeze*

"Gesundheit... Kagome, are you alright? You've been sneezing quite a bit since we've been soaking in the hot spring." Sango asked

"I am fine Sango but by Crom I wonder what's making me sneeze constantly... though I wonder if the reason I am sneezing so much is because of my brother." Sapphire/Kagome said

"You mean Souta?" Sango asked

"No by brother I mean the only one that I truly have, his name is Conan of Cimmeria... no one really knows this but when I was just practically a newborn my Cimmerian family had found me abandoned, for twelve glorious years I grew up, and was learning on how to become a blacksmith like my father and grandfather. I did not care nor saw any boundaries for what was considered to be women's work and deep down even my mother knew I was destined for a woman warrior/blacksmith's life even though she tried to persuade me from that path *giggle*." Sapphire said

"What happened than Kagome?" Miroku asked

Late that night after dinner had been eaten did the Shikon jewel shard hunters sat around and listened to the truth of one of their companions, after hearing a small portion of Sapphire/Kagome's life did Sango insist that she continue when everyone was present, and so that night did Kagome/Sapphire tell of her life... as a Cimmerian blacksmith's daughter. How her adopted mother founded her in the tall grass located right next to the riverbank, how her older brother gave her true name Sapphire after the rare gemstones( in their time) was the exact shade of her eyes, and how four years ago did she suddenly find herself at the Higurashi shrine where a DNA test proved that she was Hotaru Higurashi's long-lost daughter. What's more was that Hotaru and everyone else refused to call her by the name given by her parents which was Sapphire. Stating that wasn't the name her 'family' had given her in the first place, more to the point at how even though she enjoyed some of the luxuries that the timeline had, she heavily preferred the feudal era and her homeland all the more, and that there were far better men in the said eras than that of five hundred years into the future. By better meaning far stronger men than the sniveling weak spoiled boys calling themselves men. Which was why she was currently scouting for such a strong man to have as a boyfriend or even better as a husband... one that is strong yet kind and caring, and loyal to her as she was to him... unlike a couple of certain persons in her mind. Meaning none other than Hojo Akitoki whom though kind couldn't think for himself and always believed what Eri, Yuki, and Ayumi told him without questioning it once... and the other was none other than Inuyasha whom constant put downs, childish behavior, and deity worshiping their enemy Kikyo made him permanently blacklisted on her personal list of men. Even Sesshomaru was disgusted by his half-breed half-brother's behavior and had forever exiled him from ever claiming the western lands. One such event had caused the latter to join their group, Sesshomaru began to train them most strenuously in order to defeat the vile Naraku, and surprisingly made Kagome the first princess to the western land's throne upon adopting her as his younger sister, and made her a top general in the imperial army as well. Inuyasha was indeed pissed at the said decisions nonetheless there was absolutely nothing he could do about it, he truly was his parent's child after all... same attitude and everything else that was attached. Whatever disbelief was destroyed when the memory crystal was used... which shown the memories of a person's past, and one such memory shown a young Sapphire/Kagome happily working on the forge besides her father Tanaris and her big brother.

"Now that Naraku has been defeated all we need to do now is find the last shards of the shikon jewel." Miroku said

"I for one am looking forward to seeing the jewel getting complete... and I can now devote more of my time of trying to find a way to head back to where my family awaits me in Cimmeria." Kagome said

"Kagome... do you have to head back to Cimmeria?" Shippo asked worriedly

"Don't worry Shippo because if I do find a way back home, your coming with me, and don't think for a moment that I would abandon you my son." Sapphire/Kagome said

"He's not your son wench so stop calling him that." Inuyasha ordered

"By Crom he's as much as my son as he wants to be Inuyasha, who are you to tell us differently?" Sapphire/Kagome demanded

"Feh" Inuyasha scoffed "Kikyo would never call a demon her child." He continued

"Than what did that mother of yours call you or have you forgotten that you are a half demon?" Sapphire/Kagome asked "Of course that Kikyo witch wouldn't call anyone with a hint of demon blood her child, and the only reason she wanted you human is because she couldn't stand your demon half by Crom." She continued

"THAT"S A LIE YOU WENCH" Inuyasha bellowed

However that's all that could be said as suddenly as 'fiery tears' began to rain down from the sky, immediately the shard hunters took off for shelter, and just as soon as the storm happened... it vanished just as quickly. Immediately did Sapphire/Kagome head to the nearest crater where she couldn't believe her eyes, nearly in four years did she once again laid eyes upon the star metal, and instantly searched for all the fallen tears she could find. Once the stones were collected did Sapphire/Kagome explain that the most amazing weapons and items could be made from this star metal and immediately asked Sango if Kilala could take her to the Slayer village so she could begin making the said weaponry and items. However a single remark would soon break out into another fight between Inuyasha the supposed-to-be leader and Sapphire/Kagome the alpha female.

"Am I capable of actually telling a believable lie Inuyasha? Why do you constantly cause trouble? Is it to suit your ego by treating others like s**t?" Sapphire/Kagome demanded "When we have to or can do something it means we have the ability to do so... even after making the said explanations over and over again, you still don't get it." She continued

"Get what?" Inuyasha wondered

"By Crom... you are by far the stupidest man in the feudal era that I have ever met in my life, how a woman can fall for such a pathetic man such as yourself is a mystery." Sapphire/Kagome snarled "I must have been under a spell to be blinded so long by your true character." She continued

Before another word could be spoken did Sango grab onto the adopted Cimmerian girl's arm and lead her to Kilala, immediately did the two women mount, and not too long later did the pounding of metal could be heard from the forge of the demon slayer village. Later as Miroku, Shippo, and an angered Inuyasha entered the village, did Sapphire/Kagome exit the forge now sporting wrist guards with a Katara blade attached to them made from the star metal, and turning to her friends did she say that she was ready to take whatever ordered item they would like from the star metal... be it a sword or another type of weapon. However their lives were about to change that night as the jewel shard hunters woke to a wailing sound, and upon locating the sound did they get sucked up into a vortex... just like how the serpent men get sucked up.

*Time passes*

"...*Groan*... D-Did anyone get the name of that horse that just hit me?" Sapphire/Kagome asked

Once more it is time for another chapter update by yours truly biggrin , truth be told that I have hit a particular rather large stump... known only as writer's block, so unfortunately updates will be quite rather slow sad . Anyhow like always I hope that everyone enjoys reading this chapter as much as I enjoy writing it for you guys.

Chapter 3: A Cimmerian Sapphire Reunion

"By Crom... is everyone alright?" Sapphire/Kagome asked

Several groans indicated that her companions like her were emerging from their dazed state of mind, almost immediately were any injuries being checked out but nothing beyond pills for their headaches, and upon after a short rest did they scout around to get a sense of bearings. Not too long did Shippo leave upon Kilala in order to see if there was a village or some other residence... to which there was but it would be about a day's travel from their said designated spot. After filling and purifying the water from a nearby stream did they set off, and continued walking until it was dark. From there did they discuss on what their best course of action would be... finding out exactly where they were was a start, as well the currency that was used, and whatever information that they could find on the portal that had taken them to this strange land. It was decided that Sango( in her demon slayer outfit), Mirkou, and Sapphire/Kagome( who put on a pair of jeans with a crisscross top) would head to the city. Meanwhile Inuyasha, Kilala, and Shippo would stay behind where they would hid themselves so as not to frighten the locals. The next morning after a light breakfast did the said trio make their way into the city, that's when Sapphire/Kagome saw one... a serpent man.

"Is there something on my face young lass?" The man asked

"My apologizes sir for rudely staring it's my first time in a place so large, again my pardons for my rudeness by Crom." Sapphire/Kagome said "Though it does look like you have a bit of dirt on your right cheek." she continued

"It's alright lass and be careful where you put those blades of yours." the man said walking off

"Kagome, are you alright?" Miroku asked

"Yes I am alright though... *whispers* didn't you see that man was covered entirely in scales?" Sapphire/Kagome wondered

"You may need your eyes examined... that man was human." Sango exclaimed

"It might have been an illusion but which is the illusion I am not certain." Sapphire/Kagome said

As they walked throughout the streets did Sapphire/Kagome pondered on the said issue of that serpent man, it was only quite recently did she have the ability to see through illusions no matter how powerful, and that's when she heard her name being called out... her real name by two men when she strained her ears. That's when she saw them an African man and another man who wore a turban and cape. Craning her neck did she see which the direction they had headed and immediately began to follow them, unknown that Miroku and Sango had seen her taken off, and completely ignored them calling what she deemed her 'false name'.

"... Sapphire..." Zula said

"I wonder what Sapphire ... .... now after all these years, according to ... .... Sapphire would be... ..... ...... ...." Greywolf said

"Who are they and how did they know my name?" Sapphire/Kagome wondered

"Kagome where are you going? Kagome.... Kagome." Miroku called out

*Tavern*

"Alright Sapphire... by Crom show no weaknesses, just ask your questions, and get outta here." Sapphire/Kagome muttered to herself

"Is there something we can help you with young lady?" Greywolf asked noticing Sapphire/Kagome

"Crom... I have come to ask you men why did you call out my name several times or were you talking about the gemstone known as..." Sapphire said but was cut off

"Sorry we're late you guys but I thought..." Conan began "By Crom... it couldn't be *checks gemstone*... but it is..." He said shocked

"Conan? What are you doing here and are they friends of yours?" Sapphire asked

"Sapphire... my little sister I thought you were gone forever." Conan said

"BIG BROTHER... I thought that I would never see you again." Sapphire cried out

A/N: Kagome will be addressed as Sapphire from now on

*Later after a lot of hugging*

"By Crom the last time I saw you... you were just a gangly little twelve year old. You really have filled out" Conan exclaimed

"Well... that was four years ago big brother, I am sixteen years old now, and at the age of courtship to boot." Sapphire said "Tell me all that has happened in the four years that I was gone and I do mean everything... like how our mother, father, and grandfather are doing nowadays." She concluded in a demanding tone

"By Crom when you disappeared we set out a year long search for you, but there was never any trace of you to find... we were beside ourselves in grief, and I planned on finding you as soon as I possibly could. Life went on in Cimmeria as it always did, though the spark of our home was somewhat still gone, and at the merchant's gathering did I manage to find a horse that I had named as Thunder." Conan said

"I take it that you were finally a man enough to get the sword that our father forged as well, when did you finally manage to get it out of the crypt?" Sapphire said

"It was the night that Wrath-Amon attacked your village looking for the star metal and... Wrath-Amon placed your family minus Conan under the spell that is called the Living Stone." Jezmine said sadly

"JEZMINE." Conan bellowed

"It's obvious that you wouldn't tell her anything no matter how many times she would demand." Jezmine explained

"He did what to our family? Tell me more about this Wrath-Amon, what does he look like and is there anything else that I need to know about him?" Sapphire demanded

"He is a powerful sorcerer and it was an agent of his named Mezmira whom put the spell upon my siblings Sasha and Misha, turning them into wolves as you can see, and I have yet found a more permanent solution to reverse their current fate." Greywolf explained

"He also has many serpent men legions and servants." Conan explained

"What are serpent men Conan?" Sapphire asked

"They look like men but are covered entirely in scales and they have the power to look like a human, however star metal reveals their true form and when touched by star metal do they get banished into the abyss." Conan explained

"Than that means that the person I saw earlier was a serpent man, I thought it was strange when I saw him covered in scales completely, and yet some of my friends insisted that it was a trick of the light." Sapphire explained

"By Mitra you literally saw a serpent man? I mean without the use of star metal?" Jezmine asked

"Yeah... I have the power to see through illusions, it's a power that I recently came into being, and no matter how powerful the illusion I am able to see through it." Sapphire said "It takes a little getting used to just like when I first found out about my healing abilities." she said

"There are others that have willingly became agents and that serve Wrath-Amon like Baron Sharto leader of the cannibals of Dathar." Zula said "Sapphire perhaps now it is time that you tell us what has happened to you for the four years that you have been gone." Zula continued

"Very well but first I must bring my friends that I have been traveling with so that both sides could hear what we have to say and I must warn you all... some of them are a little unusual." Sapphire said "Greywolf will you and your siblings come with me please?" she asked

"Certainly, but why do you ask?" Greywolf said

"So that you know that I am indeed telling the truth, I have been betrayed quite often before, and I would feel better if there were witnesses... so in case that I am lying you will be able to send word to Conan and the others." Sapphire explained

Well it looks like our vacation meaning my mother and I's informal vacation is now officially over... because my father has returned rofl , sadly all good things must come to an end crying . All joking aside it's kinda good that my old man has returned because I was starting to miss him somewhat, anyhow like always I hope that everyone enjoys reading this chapter as much as I enjoy writing it for you guys to read biggrin .

Chapter 4: Stories and Spies

"So where is the destination of these friends of yours?" Greywolf asked suspiciously

"We are currently camping outside the city, more accurately we are staying in the tree line upon the hill, and most likely Sango and Miroku have returned in order to inform the others of my taking off like that." Sapphire explained

"What did you mean that some of them are quite unusual?" Greywolf asked

"Actually they are all quite unusual both physically for some and personality wise for the others... I should have warned Conan to keep an eye on Jezmine, because one of my companions is a pervert, and wouldn't hesitate to grope her or do his pickup line." Sapphire explained

*Treeline*

"What do you mean she took off?" Inuyasha demanded

"She just ran off apparently she was quite intent on following these two men and followed them right inside a building." Miroku said

"We searched but lost sight of her Inuyasha." Sango said

"Why that wench... she's nothing but a brothel...*BAM*" Inuyasha said before crying out

"Sit boy." Sapphire demanded

"Okay mama Ka... I mean mama Sapphire, I understand and your real name sounds better than your old one.>" Shippo said "" he continued

"Sapphire are these... the unusual friends you were speaking about?" Greywolf asked

"Greywolf allow me to introduce my companions... this is Sango and that's her cat Kilala, this is Miroku whose a monk, this little boy is Shippo my son, and finally that's Inuyasha. Let's head back to the tavern so all explanations could be made" Sapphire said "" she explained

*Later at the tavern*

"Well I guess I should explain as to what happened." Sapphire said

Sapphire than explained at how the beam of light was a strange reaction due to the Shikon no Tama jewel that had been inside of her since birth and the newly refined star metal. She had than been transported incredibly far into the future and quite ironically at the Higurashi shrine, where a DNA test proved that she was Hotaru Higurashi's biological daughter, and how in the woman's apparent foolishness refused to call her by the name her true family gave her. Hotaru would always state that the Higurashi's were her family not those 'people', Sapphire explained that on a level Hotaru blamed the Cimmerians for her going missing all those years ago, and refused to think otherwise to boot. She than revealed that in addition to the woman known as Hotaru, she spent four years with an old man named Tetsuya who was practically senile, and a spoiled child named Souta who's bratty personality was only encouraged. Using the memory crystal was Conan's question of how bad the old man and child was had been answered, the Cimmerian's companions and sister agreed that type of behavior wasn't acceptable, and than Sapphire launched into how she actually came to the feudal era of japan upon her turning fifteen years old. That had than in turn became a longer explanation because fights would break out on both sides with Conan trying to kill Inuyasha for harming his sister, Jezmine and Sango trying to kill Miroku who wouldn't stop caressing Jezmine, and that pissed off Conan to the point he tried to kill Miroku as well. Finally after Miroku and Inuyasha were hogtied together did the story continue on, at several points though did Inuyasha get decked for mouthing off, and finally did Sapphire tell that soon after the defeat of Naraku did the event happen... her adoption into the Western land's family and coronation as first princess to the throne. She than told them that truthfully she was to be married to Inuyasha, whom the latter refused to stay loyal, and shown at the changes which had happened upon the adoption. It was than that Zula asked at how she obtained her star metal weapons, Sapphire told them that fiery tears had rained down once more, and that later that night did they all get sucked into a vortex that brought them about a day and a half journey from the city. Conan than decided to take the reigns as he began to tell his sister's companions all about Wrath-Amon and how he turned their parents and grandfather into statues of living stone and some of the adventures he shared with his friends. The others joined in at how they met up with Conan the very first time and at how they ended up traveling with him, including Needle the baby phoenix whom usually stayed inside Conan's shield. It was revealed that Jezmine was a circus acrobat/thief before becoming honest, Zula is first in line as prince of the Wasai tribe with Conan as second since he is his blood brother, Greywolf explained about how his siblings came to be, and finally told them about Snagg and Falkener two other friends of theirs. Howls of laughter could be heard at the heavily blushing of both Conan and Jezmine's faces when Sapphire told them during the introductions....

*Flashback

"And this is Jezmine whose..." Conan said

"Your wife?" Sapphire interrupted

"My wife? Yes.... I mean no, no she's not..." Conan said blushing

"At least not yet she ain't, isn't that right Jezmine?" Sapphire asked

"Correct... I-I-I... mean no... not in the least." Jezmine stammered blushing

Laughter than bounded the table as more comments were made which involved both the Cimmeria barbarian and the circus acrobat/noble faces to go even more redder than they already were.

*Flashback ends*

"Yeah as you can see I still am waiting to see when I will get a bunch of little nephews or nieces running around." Sapphire said

"By Crom that's enough outta you." Conan demanded

Grabbing his sister Conan than threw her into into a bunch of barrels that have been stacked up, realizing what he had done to her... he only smiled when she came back over to them, and that's when a fist fight between those two came into being. Shouts and strangely enough laughter came from the brawl, where upon the fight had than finished did the siblings continued to laugh, and exclaimed that it had been years since the very last time they roughhoused and wrestled to their hearts content. Than came the story of some childhood antics like the time when Sapphire had stolen Conan's loincloth when he went swimming and he chased her throughout the village butt naked. It was decided that they would all head on over to the inn, however Inuyasha was adamant about sleeping outside until a lecture from Zula made him give up, and later did the two groups separated with the girls along with Shippo sleeping in one room. It was decided that Inuyasha and Miroku would sleep in one room, and Conan and his friends would share another room. Meanwhile the serpent man that Sapphire had talked to earlier and the tavern owner was reporting to Wrath-Amon about the newest acquisition to Conan's group... meaning his long-lost younger sister which pleased him greatly, yet also enraged him as she also was able to see through the illusions. If he was going to obtain the star metal that the barbarian, his little sister, and their allies wielded than Wrath-Amon would have to make a very special plan for this new foe of his and Set.

Before I start on this chapter there is something that must be said first... today the ambulance and the fire and rescue vehicles came onto our street, they head to our next door neighbor's house, and it turned out that Bruce just had a heart attack... to which he didn't make it. A moment of silence as now gaia_angelleft Bruce gaia_angelright is with god right now in heaven.

Chapter 5: Shards and Surgeries Part I

Late into the night as both the parties had lapsed into a deep sleep hours before, was there sudden movement coming from the rooms as certain party members woke up, and quietly did their best to remain silent as they made their way downstairs to the common room. It was there that Conan, Jezmine, Greywolf and his siblings, Zula, and Sapphire who was cradling a sleeping Shippo in her arms sat around the largest table in the room. It was a new moon tonight which meant that Inuyasha would be spending the night as a human. Almost immediately upon once they were all seated did Sapphire explain more about the Shikon no Tama jewel which is said that it could manifest a person's power be it a single shard by a hundred, several shards by thousands, and if someone was to use the entire gem it would give them almost unlimited power if they so merely wished for it. Sapphire went into full detail about how she housed the mystic gem since birth, never knowing about it until she found herself in the feudal era, and how she inadvertently destroyed it though it was the crow's foot that did the damage. How she and her friends came together to find the shards of the gem... that had been stolen by Kikyo at one point, though rather than going after the resurrected priestess to get it back... Inuyasha had attacked her instead for daring to kill Kikyo.

A/N: I know in the anime that Kagome doesn't do anything when the jewel is stolen by Kikyo, but in my story she tried to get it back, and Inuyasha attacked her in retaliation.

"Kagome...?" Shippo asked sleepily

"Hush sweetie just go back to sleep now." Sapphire said

"Okay... mama Sapphire." Shippo said nodding off once more

"By Crom what happened to the jewel?" Conan demanded

"Kikyo had willingly handed it over to Naraku stating that she would be the one to kill him, saying that once he had all the pieces she would purify the jewel, and thus killing him once and for all... however her plan was incredibly flawed." Sapphire said

"How much flawed was her plan?" Jezmine asked

"In life when she Kikyo was alive, she had never wanted to be a priestess yet was born with the power, and hated that she couldn't become an ordinary woman. The Shikon was than later entrusted to her, which made her even more enraged, and upon seeing Inuyasha she plotted to be rid of the jewel for good. Upon resurrection it was quite clear that her selfishness and greed was all the more apparent, the only thing she liked about being a priestess was the people practically worshiped her, and even after finding out that Naraku killed her... Kikyo still blamed Inuyasha and later myself as well for her death and misery. Not only did she willingly made Naraku all the more stronger but her plan on purifying the jewel would never have ever worked." Sapphire stated

"Why ever not?" Zula wondered

"Only those with incredibly strong and powerful spiritual powers can purify it but most importantly... a soul that has not been tainted can perform the said task Zula." Sapphire said

"Kikyo's an evil witch... she couldn't do it." Shippo said half awake

"So this woman's tainted being she would unable to perform the said action correct, and I have little doubt from what you showed us from the memory crystal." Greywolf said "However what did you mean earlier by being betrayed and that you would feel better with a witness?" he asked

"It wasn't just Inuyasha but also those that I have called my acquaintances in the modern era of japan have betrayed me quite heavily, and as I am a stranger to you all I thought it best for a few witnesses would take note of my actions... so that I would bring no harm to your friends and to my older brother." Sapphire explained

"A sound reason by Crom and it's good to see that you still think things through" Conan said happily

"Good to hear since big dumb barbarian too stupid to think." Needle sqwaucked

"Shut up Needle." Conan barked

"*Giggle*... Do those two always act like this?" Sapphire asked

"Always but... what should we do about the gem? If Wrath-Amon obtains it his power will become unstoppable if he so wishes it." Jezmine said

"A wish can only be granted if the Shikon no Tama jewel is whole and as you can see there are still some shards missing, but your right Jezmine we have to do something immediately." Sapphire said

"But what exactly little gem?" Needle asked

"We could hide it inside of mama Sapphire... it came from inside of mama and so it should be well hidden there." Shippo piped up

"You mean put it back where it originally came from? What about the shards that we find if there are any?" Sapphire asked

"I get it now. Wrath-Amon wouldn't think of looking for it inside of you and if we do find the shards than we can take out the gem, than all we need to do is restore it to the gem, and hide it again." Zula said

"I guess... that's the best idea we can go on *sigh*, very well than I will need all your help... will you aid me on inserting the gem?" Sapphire said

"Of course I will help you my sister." Conan said

"And so shall we." Jezmine said

"Very well than, let's begin the preparations immediately... Zula start a fire, Greywolf get a bucket or a kettle filled with clean water, Conan and Shippo get out my bottle of rubbing alcohol from the medical kit, and Jezmine get some clean rags." Sapphire ordered

*A few moments later*

"Very well now... Zula and Greywolf put the kettle onto the fire, along with this dagger that I have cleaned, wait until the water has boiled, and the blade is hot enough. After that bring them right here, now all I have to do is apply the area with the alcohol, and put alcohol on the dagger afterwords." Sapphire commanded

*Soon*

"Is everyone ready? Than let's begin with the procedure." Sapphire said

Greywolf than tied a gag around her mouth as Zula positioned himself behind Sapphire, he held her arms tightly behind her before Jezmine took the dagger, and began making the cuts before Conan placed the gem inside. After a quick cleaning of the blood Sapphire used her healing skills to close the wound, from there they tidied up the room, and Conan brought his somewhat shaky sister back upstairs. The next morning both parties left the inn somewhat late as Conan's group spent a good portion talking and doing a form of surgery on Sapphire. The latter whom was currently riding on Greywolf's cape as a magic carpet with his siblings as they currently made their way checking out the city, and it was there that Sapphire had sensed it......

Hey everyone here is the latest of chapters for this story and here's a surprise... it's still a while off however but I have an idea for a future chapter, in the chapter will Eri, Yuka, Ayumi, and Hojo will appear in Conan the adventurer's world and I am happy to say... that they will get their just desserts to say the very least. Anyhow like always I hope that everyone enjoys reading this chapter as much as I enjoy writing it for you guys to read.

A/N: I originally was gonna make this into one chapter but due to the timing and the length of it, this chapter had to be split into two separate ones.

Chapter 6: Shards and Surgeries Part II

"This market is huge mama Kag... I mean mama Sapphire, bigger than we've ever seen back home." Shippo said "By the way what happened to the jewel that you usually wear mama?" he asked

"It does seem enormous to you Shippo especially since you are so young, but there's a far bigger marketing event called the merchant's gathering that's held every single year, and as for the jewel it's been safely put away... you might say that it's back in it's proper place." Sapphire said winking

"I see so that's why your riding on Greywolf's cape with Sasha and Misha." Shippo said

"Yeah at least for a short while..." Sapphire began

"Not anymore wench." Inuyasha interrupted

Ignoring the snarls of Sasha and Misha did he Inuyasha grabbed Sapphire's long navy hair and yanked her off the cape, with hair still in his grasp he bellowed at her to start walking, and gave her a strong kick to her left side where the jewel had been placed just last night. Conan whom saw his sister getting attacked was about to charge but was stopped by Zula, he along with the others noticed the pink light( minus Conan) surrounding the star metal Kataras, and a bellow of pain could be heard the moment that one had been thrust into Inuyasha. The moment that she was released did Sapphire quickly gave the hanyou a purified roundhouse kick to the head... it was good that Sesshomaru personally trained her in martial arts. Conan walked over to his sister and ignoring her squawks as he ruffled her hair, before leading her towards his companions and her son, and they headed off completely ignoring Sango and the others whom were left to take care of their foolish leader. Jezmine spotted a clothing stall before practically dragging the younger girl to it, the former explained to the latter that though durable her clothes would soon fall apart, and so after careful selection did Sapphire pay for her new clothes and boots.

A/N: Kagome's outfit looks like the female protagonist in Legend of Mana but with different colors, the boots are like Greywolf's

Needless to say that it had more than definitely gotten the approval of the young men in the town, much to the annoyance of a certain somewhat overprotective barbarian brother, and which made a certain perverted monk sport injuries... before being dragged off for an incredible stern lecture on proper behavior towards females. Once again did Miroku's lecture ended that he had gotten a black eye( he groped Sapphire again), did the latter sense a shard of the jewel, and calling towards both groups did she give the location. It was imbedded in the headdress of a wealthy noblewoman, whose said mini-procession was heading their way, and upon gathering were they began to make a plan that would get them the shard but not disturb the civilians.

"We take the shard by force Kagome, we don't need a plan for that... just like we always do." Inuyasha stated

"Inuyasha we can't do that, we must...." Sapphire began

"Of course we can wench." Inuyasha said

"Listen to me you diseased lice filled mongrel. This is not the land that you guys came from, which means things are different from what you are accustomed to, secondly have you considered the precautions of the said attack upon a human, and thirdly *slap*... you will no longer address me in a degrading manner." Sapphire snarled

"Kagome... how can you say that to him?" Sango asked shocked "You do know what his life was like before we came into the picture, don't you?" she asked

"Sango I am highly aware of how he was treated in the past, however it does not excuse how he can treat others now, and above all any respect I may have had for him is now gone. If the mongrel wants to treat others like garbage than I shall treat him the same, it's not about Inuyasha's physical being but of his personality." Sapphire explained "And my name has always been Sapphire." she continued

Immediately they quickly went through the options of how to get the shard from the headdress, it was mere luck that there wasn't anyone nearby whom could overhear them, and thus they decided to check out the procession from both on ground level and above. It was decided that Greywolf, Misha, Sapphire, Shippo, and Sango would watch the procession from above. While Conan and the others would watch the procession from the ground, as both groups watched the mini-procession they were unaware that Inuyasha left them, and a sudden scream from the noblewoman alerted them of their missing companion. For with extended claws and a murderous glare did Inuyasha leap down, only to fall victim to the subduing spell several times, and that's when Conan and the others rushed towards the woman's guards... in order to save the foolish hanyou from being killed. Sapphire stayed behind to calm the people's nerves and indulged the woman's vanity enough to get the information they needed. Late that very night did shadowy figures make their way to the town's finest hotel, quietly creeping they made their way across the room, and as swiftly as they came did they vanish back to where their 'leader' had awaited them.

"We did it we got the shard." Jezmine said

"That's excellent work you guys, quickly give it it to me, and I'll restore the shard to the gem." Sapphire exclaimed

Once again was the gem cut out of Sapphire's body before the shard was restored to it, when the shikon safely hidden away did they leave the inn, and made their way outside of the city gates where their friends had awaited them. The two group of warriors and their horses/siblings/Kilala began once more on their journey to stop Wrath-Amon/find the jewel shards, along the way did Sapphire regal them with tales from the 'modern japan' that she was from, and how there wasn't any real magic left in the world unless you counted a beautiful sunset/starry night sky. The tales of the feudal era of japan were about the people and friends/acquaintances that they have met like... Shiori and Jinengi two half demons, Kouga along with Ayame and their pack, Sesshomaru and his pack, and Sapphire's own gang of thieves.

"How on earth did you manage to become the leader of a group of thieves little sister?" Conan asked

"It was shortly after I came to the feudal era, I was trying to find my way back to the future when they grabbed me, and they took me to their hideout where they couldn't believe how short my kimono as they called it... it was my school uniform actually. One thief told me if I married him he'd get me a new one, of course he was merely joking, and the boss of the thieves was far taller and more muscular than my brother. The first boss demanded the shikon jewel, I made clear about my refusal, and that's when he attacked but it hit one of the gang instead. That's when I knew something was wrong so I ordered the gang of thieves to escape, it turned out that their boss was killed and possessed by the same crow demon that I had attached it's leg to my arrow. Some time had passed since that incident when one day, a member of the thief gang came to the village requesting for help since a couple of members were ill, and hearing what happened I immediately volunteered to check it out. It turned out that they merely had a bad cold, so I helped nurse them back to health, and that's when I started to teach them about medicinal herbs and such." Sapphire explained

"More like you went there for some fun." Inuyasha said accusingly "*Bam* OW... what was that for?" he demanded

"Unlike a dishonorable whelp such as yourself, I still have my honor and virtue, and so during the times I would meet with both Kaede and the village headman. The reasons I would meet so that the gang of thieves... my gang of thieves could live in the village, and help protect the villagers whenever we were away. It was my goal to see them rehabilitated, however there were some who didn't believe my intentions... like Kikyo and Inuyasha whom tried to kill my gang several times. Thanks to the obvious lies of Kikyo would Inuyasha attack them, the former wanted to hurt me greatly due to her hatred, and the latter acting like a damn puppy wanting to greatly please his master did so. Kaede the village miko whom is the younger sister of Kikyo when she was alive became our mentor, it was thanks to her that the headman finally agreed to allow them to stay within the village, and the headman is a bullheaded fool. It's alright to have our group reside in the village, however he highly doubts my thief gang despite the fact that I can see their auras, and the sincerity that they display on becoming part of the village." Sapphire said

"Well they did abduct you for the shikon." Miroku said

"That was only a one time thing and they were acting under the orders of their boss at the time." Sapphire said hotly "How many others do you know that have abducted me for the Shikon and actually kept trying to get it alone?" She asked

"A better question mama is how many men that have abducted you ended up falling in love and/or wanted to simply marry you?" Shippo asked

"*Blush*... Shippo don't make me have to put you in time out." Sapphire said blushing

"WHAT'S THIS?" Conan roared

"Great now my brother is in overprotective mode *rolls eyes*." Sapphire said

"Yeah there's this boy named Hojo both in the future and in our time that apparently has a large crush on her... especially the future one, Miroku whom asked Sapphire to bear his child, let's not forget about Kouga who professed his love to her, and the other demons whom tried to marry her." Shippo blurted out

"First off the Hojo in the feudal era's love is unrequited and the Hojo that I know in modern japan is a weak pathetic drone, Miroku asked me to bear his child merely due to the curse he once had, and Kouga only wanted me because I could sense the jewel shards. Secondly that poison user Mukotsu tried to marry me before forcing himself onto me, and the other time with that boar demon Chokyukai was because of that damn mind controlling tiara. Any others from the past have to due with either my looks/powers, status, and/or both, and the males in the future only want me for my looks... however my temper ends up driving them away." Sapphire explained

"Your temper Sapphire?" Zula asked

"Yeah my sister when she's greatly angered rivals a thousand erupting volcanoes, it's quite fortunate that she rarely loses her temper, and I pity the person whom triggers it. Though from what she's been telling me the men that she travels with invoked it more often than not, and I hope that whoever my sister does marry will be of great strength." Conan explained

Hey everyone once again it's time for an update to this story here, truthfully I was planning on put this and the other stories of mine on hiatus due to the fact that I have gotten writer's block. However just this morning I had gotten inspiration for this very chapter, but as I was writing it earlier something happened... the monitor suddenly darkened with this green color, so I was forced to turn off the computer for a time. Thankfully I wasn't that far into the chapter so I am able to remember most of the start somewhat.

Chapter 7: Scars of the Past Part I

Day turned into night which in turn brought night back into day, as the warriors set out without a set destination in mind or rather were unable to locate a pyramid of Set/Shikon jewel shard, and laughter could be heard from the group as Conan and Sapphire( whom was currently riding with Jezmine) regaled tales of childhood antics. Sasha and Misha one night told tales of their own childhood antics that left the group still in stitches in the morning, and a red faced Greywolf shot his canine siblings with killing glares throughout that day. Sango and Miroku had also joined in on some of the antics of their own childhood, Shippo told them about the days when his parents were alive, and Inuyasha told them about some of his own past... which emitted growls from the wolf siblings/Kilala & Shippo about how Kikyo was the first person besides his mother to 'accept' him. Which was an utter lie because if she did accept him in the first place, than why did she want him to become human and why did she easily believe that she was betrayed in the first place? Zula and Jezmine also told of their days growing in the Wasai with his family and growing up with a traveling circus for a family since the latter was adopted as an infant.

"Kinda like us meaning Shippo, Miroku, and I were adopted, myself by Conan's family, Shippo was adopted by me, and Miroku was adopted by his master when his father died as a small child... sorry guys but I forgotten that you saw your father's death." Sapphire said

"It's alright Kagome... I mean Sapphire don't take it to heart." Miroku said

That night as they had set up camp did Sapphire tell her older brother and friends all about the era from which she apparently came from originally, using the memory crystal did they see what the far off quite distant future had in store for those generations. Forests were replaced by huge cities that had towers that reached the skies peak, flowing rivers which had been replaced by roads to which strange metal carriages( in their eyes) traveled upon, and how there were a great many people all seemingly crowded that one island. Sapphire than fully told them about how adventures came in boxes( video games) in that era that the children would often play for hours, how the only magic in that era is done using smoke, mirrors, and other illusions since real magic doesn't exist anymore, and the only magic one could find was in one of those video games. She also told them about how their weapons become mere decorations in a home, how weapons called guns become the more deadly weapons, and she told them about the fast food restaurants make filling yet unhealthy food. In fact that a growing concern was the obesity especially children's as hardly anyone gets any physical exercise.

"I just can't imagine... living in such an era like that." Jezmine said

"Count yourself as lucky since I have lived there for four years." Sapphire exclaimed

"No magic and no true communication between our animal brothers." Zula said as he shook his head

"There are some good things about that era like... better medical care, which means an increase in quality medicine especially when people get a headache, a passing cold, or even the flu... births as well have become better with all the medical care. Children at a very young age go to school where they learn how to read, write, arithmetic, and various other subjects as well. Mothers who sing to their children just like how mother would sing Conan and I too sleep when we were small." Sapphire said

"Speaking of good things... we should start looking for a horse of your own sister, if your gonna be traveling with us than you will need a good steed, and I know that when the jewel is complete... your companions will find a way back to their own era." Conan said

"Not me... I'm staying right here with mama Sapphire, I'm a poor little orphan and don't have anywhere else to call home." Shippo declared

"Are you certain Shippo that you don't want to return to our time?" Sango asked

"I'm positive after all it's just like our time only different." Shippo said

"The next city we reach is just one more day's ride, it's a merchant city so we should be able to find a horse... my only concern is the cost of it since such cities sometimes have higher prices." Zula said

*The next day*

"This is by far one of the biggest cities I have ever seen." Sapphire said

"Let's locate an inn first, than we can split up to have a look around, and Sapphire this is a big place so you are to stay close to me." Conan instructed

"Alright big brother of mine." Sapphire exclaimed

*Moments later*

Despite the elder Cimmerian's instructions did Sapphire could not help herself but casually look around, as merchants hawked their goods to interested customers, and naturally it didn't help much that the place was crowded either. Sapphire could just barely see her brother in front of her as she was jostled through the crowd, her eyes went wide as she spotted a young man with a scar over his left closed eye, and heavily thought that she knew him from someplace. Little did she know that the man couldn't help but do a double take as he passed... when he heard Conan call out her name as it had brought more than unpleasant memories.

"Sapphire by Crom hurry it up sister, your more trouble than your worth" Conan yelled

"Sorry about that Conan besides the street is crowded, what do you expect?" Sapphire said

"What made you stop so suddenly?" Conan asked

"I thought that I spotted someone I once knew a very long time ago." Sapphire explained

"Didn't I tell you to stay close to me little sister?" Conan lectured

*Alleyway*

"It couldn't be... it just couldn't be her, but yet at the same time it is indeed her. The time has come to exact my revenge upon that Cimmerian... Sapphire you shall pay for what you did to me all those years ago, I swear it upon my father's grave." The scarred man said evilly

"I don't know why *shiver*, but I suddenly had gotten a chill down my back." Sapphire said
