I already have one roleplay up, but I was hoping to try setting up a second one. I'll try setting up some various ideas, but my current one is a historical roleplay based around the 1400s, involving both the War of the Roses and the Spanish Inquisition. The story is named “The Prince” after Niccolo Machiavelli's famous book and will deal heavily with political backstabbing, external conflicts, rebellion, murder, and conspiracy. If you haven't heard of Machiavelli's book, it teaches about becoming a great leader and shows that to become a king is not to be pure of heart or merciless, but to appear benevolent and truthful while deceiving and erasing those who would stand in your way. Each of the characters in the roleplay would assume a specific role, such as the “prisoner”, the “duke”, the “priest”, the “merchant”, ect. From each of these basic stances, characters would move with the world, finding their own places or clawing their way into power. Enjoy the simple life as a commoner? Sail the seas as a pirate? Find love and prosperity? Or risk everything in the attempt to become a king? Death can occur in this roleplay, so every action has consequences. One who becomes greedy or power hungry may find themselves executed whilst a person just trying to make a living may find themselves a victim of the inquisition. This roleplay would evolve into a massive political game and learning how to operate would become essential for surviving the world and your opponents.
