The morning sun creeped through the window, effectively waking Tsuki. Groaning a slight bit, the man stretched out then sat up. He threw off the covers and stood, going over to the window.

Heh, that's right, he'd forgotten to shut the curtains last night. Not that it mattered.... no one else was around to peek in anyway. The only other person around was his newly acquired apprentice, and she was in the next room, likely sleeping still. He couldn't help but wonder, though. What made him take on an apprentice? He wasn't even the teaching type. Well, it certainly was going to be interesting, that was for sure.

Not bothering to put on a shirt for now, Tsuki left the room and went over to the one he'd given his apprentice and knocked on the door. "Knock, knock, time to wake up!" he called with a grin.

Hope this is good. x3

Ignisi stared out the the window of her room. She still felt like a stranger in her new place. But that was more than likely due to the fact that the place was more her teacher's than her own. Only a week ago had he excepted her to be his apprentice.

Ignisi had the ability to wield and create fire. She had had this ability all her life, but last year she had a viscous dream While dreaming she caused the cottage her family lived in to burn to the ground severely hurting her young sister and brother. Her parents cast her out, disowning her for the pain she had brought on the family.

Ignisi wander the country trying to find a master that would accept her, and her past. Teaching her to use her ability not to hurt the ones she loves. But to protect them instead.

A knock on the door turned her attention away from the window and her past. She had already been awake for some time now. Already dressed she opened the door.
"Yes, Master Tsuki. I'm already awake."

Tsuki smiled when he saw his apprentice was already awake and dressed. Good, good. "You don't have to call me Master, you know," he told her, laughing a bit. "Just Tsuki is fine."

If one looked closely, one could see various scars on Tsuki's chest and back. Some were small, but others looked rather painful. Especially one that seemed to have been made by something stabbing through his chest and out his back. They weren't new scars, no. They were rather old, from an incident 11 years prior, one he barely survived.

"Anyway, would you rather eat breakfast first or go out into the field for some basic training? I was thinking I could begin teaching you something other than just control," he said, seeming to be in thought. Tsuki shook his head and grinned, heading into the small living area. "Well? We can't just sit around doing nothing now, can we?"

He also has a fake eye, his left one. It's golden in color, and more like a gemstone than an actual fake eye. That's the sphynx's eye artifact.

“I’m not very hungry,” replied Ignisi. “I think I’d rather go to the field and do some basic training.”

In week that she had been here her control over her element had been wonderful. She was already learning more in this week alone, than in the nineteen years she practiced on her own. Tsuki was a very serious teacher. It was as if he had a problem with the world, so he kept to himself. As each day passed Ignisi became more and more baffled as to why he had chosen to take her on as a pupil.

With a smile she grabbed a pin to put her hair up so it wouldn’t get singed.
“Ready when you are, Mas.. Tsuki.”

"Good!" Tsuki replied, heading over to one of the corners of the living area, and taking the staff he'd kept there. He'd yet to touch it since Ignisi came to live with him, but he hadn't needed it before then. He remembered when he used to use it. It was before he came to live here. Heh, it'd certainly been a while....

Having everything he needed, Tsuki headed out the front door and out into the field that surrounded his rather small house. It wasn't much of a house, just two rooms and a living area that doubled as a kitchen. There was a river nearby, which had a nice supply of fish. The town below was where he got everything else he needed. Though, he didn't go down there too often. The townspeople didn't like him very much. They weren't very found of non-healer mages, apparently.

Once he was far enough away from his house, Tsuki stopped and turned around, waiting for Ignisi to catch up. Well, at least today's lessons were going to be fun, haha.

Ignisi followed her teacher down the way to the field. She had to walk fast to keep up. It seemed that he was even more eager than herself for today's lesson. Her entire life she wanted to have control over her power. Already Ignisi was developing an unhealthy gratitude to her teacher for giving her wish.

Tsuki's abilities were oposite of her own, water to her fire. As Ignisi saw it life to her destruction. One day she hoped to be like him, a great mage, not in fear of her own power.

"What are we doing today, Tsuki?"

Kuromaus
Well even starting out this is one of the better 1x1 roleplays I've had in awhile. It seems that most people lately don't want any real plot.

"We're going to play a game," Tsuki mused with a grin. He took his staff and dug it into the ground so that it stood on it's own. With that, Tsuki took a few steps back from it and put his hands together. He concentrated for a moment before pulling his hands apart, a medium sized ice ball now in the palm of his hands.

"I'm going to throw this, and I want you to hit it and melt it," he told her. "Sounds pretty simple, right? Haha. Don't worry about accidentally hitting me or setting anything on fire, my staff here will protect me, as well as the grass around us. Any questions?"

Heacate
XD Yeah. I've tried to make a few group RPs, but no one seems to want to join them. xp This is the first time I've done 1x1 on Gaia for a long while.

Ignisi watched curiously as Tsuki dug his staff into the ground. That was definitively new, they hadn't used it before. He explained what the game was.

Ignisi opened her right palm, a small flame flickered. She stared thoughtfully at the little flame.
"No questions, sir." She said with a smile. This is going to be fun. She closed her fist and the flame disappeared. "Ready when you are."

Only time will tell, and a flame shall light the way.

Kuromaus
Well if you do another Group one let me know. I am only in one right now. I tend to prefer those, because the plot is generally better.

Grinning, Tsuki laughed a bit. "Good."

With that, the man threw the ice ball into the air, as high as he could. "Try to hit it before it hits the ground," he told her, simply watching. While this game may seem just simple fun, it was much more than that. It tested control, accuracy, as well as speed. All good things to have when using any sort of destructive magic. Something Ignisi needed. Fire was a difficult element to control, from what he learned and observed. But just keeping it bottled inside was even worse....

Heacate
Well, the ones I made are still there (in a different guild), just no one has joined them. Except maybe one person, but they disappeared... lawl. One of them is simply a modern version of this. xp

Tsuki threw I ice ball high in the air. Ignisi opened her closed fist, thinking of with warmth that fire brought it was in her palm. She thrust her arm forward willing the flame to hit the ball. Miscalculating the flame shot past the ice inches above it. The flame continued almost hitting Tsuki. "No!" She said forgetting what he had said about the staves protection she closed her fist, and the flame disappeared, just as the ice hit the ground. "Damn"

Tsuki didn't even seem to flinch as the flame missed and headed towards him. Instead, he seemed to be laughing a bit. "Don't over think it. Just do it," he advised her as he made yet another ice ball, the same size as the one before.

"Let's try again, shall we?" With that, he threw the ice ball in the air once more, this time a bit higher, as to give her more time to hit it.

It is a decently active guild, it just gets slower during the school year. xp Link is in my signature if you want to look, lawl. They do clean out inactive people regularly. xp Up to you. x3 Just this is fine. xD

Determined to hit the dratted ice ball this time she made sure to aim lower, at where it would be by the time it hit. Ignisi opened her palm, flame erupted. She willed it forward. It was much closer this time melting parts of it, but didn't completely melt it. Is was a slush ball when it hit the ground.

"Well I hit this time." She said as she scrunched her brow.

Tsuki couldn't help but laugh at Ignisi's failed attempt. "It is an improvement, yes," he agreed, making another ice ball. "But not successful either...."

The man looked down at the ice ball in his hands for a few moments, seeming to be in thought. "Try to keep your fire concentrated and not spread out. Just like this ice ball here.... It's dense in the middle, and the outside is a flaky crust. Remember that your magic is a part of you, an extension of yourself. Don't over think things, just do it. Haha, you don't think about walking or breathing, do you?"
