An unruly octopus escapes from the tank at the local restaurant! What will Veruvi and Nate do?! It sits in the corner starting out to nothingness for it is a confused octopus on land.  Octopus stats: HP: 40 STR: 2 MP: 0 SPD: 2 ACR: 12 RFX: 4

Nate stares at the octopus, which had sloofed (that's not a word ahaha XD~~) over to their table. He had been in the middle of a nice talk about flowers with a girl he had just met today, and then this octopus interupts them! How Rude!
He pokes at it with his unused fork, a slight pouty scowl on his face.

As the octopus scoots away, it glares at Nate. It lashes out a tentacle in retaliation for the stunt!

The octopus must have the sight of an old lady, as it misses as well. Nate had snatched his hand out of the way, pouting. "Veruvi! That octopus has a vendetta against me, it does!" He declares, glaring at the cephalopod again.

Veruvi stared at the blob of live seafood that had interupted her conversation with Nate and had even tried to attack him.
The child shook her head at the octupus, "that's mean! You shouldn't hurt people!" With that she threw a carrot from her basket (she had been grocery shopping before she had started talking with Nate) at the eight-legged monster.

Veruvi rubbed the spot that the octopus had hit.
"owwie...that's so mean..."
She clapped as Nate landed a hit on the octopus, "Yay! Go Nate!" she cheered. Wanting to help him out she threw an apple this time at the irritable octo.

Apples seemed to have a better effect as a flying projectile than carrots were because it hit its mark with considerable force dealing a critical hit to the monster.
The octopus now has 34 hp.
