 Once there was a kingdom which was filled with happiness and mystical creatures. But this happiness ended when the kingdom was taken over by demons. A new legend tells of a single human princess falling in love with the demon prince and bringing the kingdom back to its glory days once again. Now, because of this legend, the devil kingdom hides there prince in the castle not being able to see anyone for hundreds of years. The humans have been hiding the royal family away from the demons, for generations. They both didn't want their bloodlines to tarnished by one another. But, fate has dealt its hands in their chance meeting. The Demon Prince:Name: Taito Age: Unknown Personality: He is creative, resourceful, and intellectually quick. Good at a broad range of things. He enjoys debating issues, and being rude. He gets very excited about new ideas and projects, but may neglect the more routine aspects of life. He is generally outspoken and assertive. Excellent ability to understand concepts and apply logic to find solutions. History: He doesn’t know what the outside world looks like, knowing that he has been locked up for generations. But he’s a curious boy and tends to sneak away or hides sometimes from the maids or butlers. Taito had a twin a long time ago, but something happened while trying to give birth. He doesn’t tend to care about other people’s feeling and runs off all the time. 
The Human Princess:Name: Marian Rose Age: 17 Personality: calm, sneaky, curious, creative, envious of those able to be themselves and be able to go out to do what they wanted. Though when out of the view of her parents or family and important people, it's easy to get her to laugh and play. Especially when she's with the children. Enjoys doing make overs for the girls. Loves flowers. History: For as long as she can remember, Marian has not been allowed outside further than the thicket of their property. She was training and given lessons into being a princess everyday. But then one day, she just didn't see the point in the lessons. Her family wasn't ruling any kingdom, she was a princess of nothing but the house she lived in. She didn't understand why she couldn't leave to the hill side through the trees to pick flowers, she didn't know why she couldn't play with other kids her age. So, she decided to take matters into her own hands and snuck out of the property for the first time at the age of 10. Now, 7 years later, she was pretty good at sneaking away and going outside to play with the village children and pick flowers of different varieties. Always hiding her identity underneath a hood and cloak. However, when she gets caught or finds out that someone had been looking for her, she tends to feel a bit guilty that she was out having fun while they were in a panic looking for her.

Taito Night had fallen and the guards were on their usual patrol route. Taito watched, as he waited for the perfect time to move. He had made a tunnel when he was younger, going from his room down to the backside of the castle walls. As the guards turned around the corner, Taito ran for the woods. Stopping at a nearby creek, he sat down and was able to catch his breath. " Heh, those stupid guards will never learn. That makes this the fifth time I've been able to get out," he laughed to himself. After a moment, he stood up and followed the creek to a large lake. He picked up a few rocks, and started skipping them. Even at his age, it was fun. When he finished up all the rocks he had, he sat down on the soft grass. The breeze was nice and the night stars were shining brightly. Right now, Taito would seem human to anyone. He put his sword beside him and laid down, putting his hands behind his head to act as a pillow. Closing his silver eyes shut, Taito wished this moment would last forever.

✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ Marian Rose, or Rose as to what she was called outside of her house, had successfully escaped the mansion she called home. She had been told about a beautiful lake the week before and now she had a chance to go and see it first hand at night. Pulling on a dark red cloak over her head, she kept watch of the guards and escaped into the tree's beside her property. She had a hard time navigating through the trees to find the lake in the dark, but when she finally reached it, she was pleasantly greeted with the site. 'Beautiful...' she thought as she went over to the sparkling water and knelt beside it. What's more, there were plenty of flowers there too which she gladly started picking only the ones starting to bloom so that the healthy ones could pass it's seeds on to the next flowers with the bee's help.
She never did notice the person laying by the lake 30 feet away from her since it was so dark and he hadn't moved at all. But soon enough, she began to hum softly as she put her hand in the water, feeling it's cool temperature and making invisible designs through it as she moved her hand about in it.

Taito Taito was in a peaceful slumber, until the sound of humming caught his ear, followed by the mixture scent of lilies and roses. His eyes shot wide open and he sat up, grabbing his sword at the same time. Looking around he saw someone, off to his far right, playing in the water. A human wouldn't be able to see in the dark as well as a demon could. He stood, quietly walking and unsheathing his sword, as he made his way to the stranger. Taito pointed his sword to the person, " Who are you, and what are you doing here," he growled. The moon, coming out of the blackened clouds, now shinned upon the two.

✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ Rose was happily enjoying the silence and the view of the night sky on the water, she didn't even notice someone was there until the voice spoke and the moonlight shown over them brightly, revealing the sword pointed at her a mere 10 inches away from her form. This realization had her falling backwards and into the cold water, soaking her clothes at least from the waist down. Though she wasn't able to be concerned just yet with her wet clothing as the blade was more important. "I'm sorry! I didn't know this lake belonged to anyone.... I was told by the village children that the view here was a sight to enjoy at night...." she stated hurriedly, but also a bit scared.
She'd never been face to face with a blade before and the intent of it to harm her if the owner so saw fit to do. She was so distracted with the imposing threat the person portrayed to her life, she didn't notice her hood had fallen down from her head when she fell backwards. "I'm sorry if I trespassed... I'll return home..." she tried to bargain, hoping the stranger wouldn't do anything.... too bad to her. Though when she finally looked passed the blade and to the owner, she was a bit taken aback at how young he looked. Not to mention how cute he was. He didn't even look like he wanted to hurt her unless she did something that would aggravate him into hurting her. His face as slightly hidden in shadow, but from what she could see, she was mesmerized by his gaze. Though a shiver ran through her a bit as the cold water was taking effect on her skin. (lol, you miss spelled my user name razz )

Taito Taito watched as the girl fell into the water. He wasn't sure if he should laugh or help her out. When the moonlight hit her face just right, he was taken aback for a moment. Letting out a large sigh, he sheathed his sword and helped the girl out of the water. " You shouldn't be out here. There are demons lurking around that wouldn't hesitate to kill you," he told the girl as he wrapped his coat around her. In the distance, Taito could hear his guards calling out for him in the woods. " Crap, I gotta go," he said. He was gone in an instant, leaving his coat behind with the girl. Once he had caught up to the guards, they grabbed his arms and took him to his father. He was being fingered to come closer, and when they were face to face, Taito got a hard sucker punch to his left cheek. What were you thinking," his father yelled, his voice echoing throughout the throne room. I specifically told you to NEVER leave this castle. Especially without an escort," he bellowed. Taito had learned, at a young age, to never talk back to his father. But, he needed to come up with something to excuse himself for his actions. " Father, you told me long ago, that a king must know his kingdom and its surroundings. I was doing just that, the guards just get in my way and slow me down," he said, lying through his teeth. The demon king sighed loudly, " Yes, I did say that didn't I? And you are going to take my place, when the time comes. I'll let it go this time, but see that you don't do it again," he demanded. The guards took Taito back up to his room, under the kings orders, and locked him up for the rest of the night.

✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ Rose blinked a few times when he sighed, wondering if she did something wrong, but then he put his sword away and even gave her a helping hand out of the water. His skin was rough from using the sword, but so very gentle. It was a nice combination in her opinion really. But his words of concern and demons had her on alert as well. She had been told that demons would kill her if they did see her. Because she was of the royal family and they didn't want demons finding her just to kill her. Then he was generous enough to lend her his coat, which was very warm and comfortable. His scent enjoyable, making her smile a bit. "Thank you... I shall return home soon then." she stated, giving her thanks for both helping her, warning her and giving his coat to her to help keep her warm.
She was going to ask his name, but he then said he had to leave. Before she could say anything in return though, he was gone. His eyes burned into her memory and the voice and face of the person won't be forgotten very easily, though may be dulled if enough time passed. So taking a sneaky breath of his scent from his coat, she turned and returned home silently. She wondered if she'd ever see him again as she lay down in bed, the coat under her pillow so no one would find it easily.

Taito A bruise was left on Taito's cheek, from his father's punch, " Jeez, he didn't have to hit me that hard," he groaned, rubbing his cheek softly. He let out a sigh and plopped onto his bed. As he laid there, looking up at the ceiling, the smell of the girl still lingered in the air. The mixture of roses and lilies was an odd, yet familiar scent. It took him a while, but he remembered that it was the same as his late mother. She was a beautiful and kindhearted demon, who loved her son very much. In fact, looking back, he was thinking that the girl looked a bit like her. He shot up, sitting erect now, and shook the thought out of his mind. There was just no way he could ever think like that. Still, the image of that girls face was now stuck in his mind. Do I really want to see that girl, that...human, again so badly? The real question is, could I?, he said in his head, cautious not to say anything the guards could hear.

✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ The following day, Marian had to once again follow the same old routine. Eat breakfast with elegant manners, walk without dropping the books on her head, 4 classes in a row, or sometimes at the same time. More etiquette lessons, music lessons and oh so much she didn't want to bother thinking about again. She was tired of it all, but at the same time, she didn't really care anymore. The image of the man on her mind all day and the memory of last night and of the coat under her pillow, she wanted the day of classes to end so she could go back and enjoy the almost musky scent with a mix of a forest smell. It was nice. Again, like so many times before, she wondered who he was.
Suddenly fingers were snapping in front of her eyes, making her jump slightly and blink a few times, focusing on her aunts face in front of hers. "Goodness gracious child. Pay attention. Not everyone is able to get these classes so appreciate that you do receive them." she lectured, hands on her hips when she straightened. Sighing, Marian was tempted to just leave the room. "But aunt, why do I get these classes when I'm not even a real princess? Why learn how to be a princess if there is no kingdom to be a princess of?" she asked for the first time in her life.

Taito Morning came and Taito was awoken by the guards, just in time for his morning lessons. He thought that his evening at the lake was all a dream, but soon realized it wasn't, seeing as he couldn't find his coat. He was dragged to his first class, which was magic use 101. It wasn't his strongsuit, but he was still pretty good at using magic. When that was over, Taito was sent to his next class, weapons mastery. He was more skilled in this, than anything else. As he was sword fighting with his instructor, all he could think about was the girl. He wanted to see her again, so he could get her name... and also his coat back. As he was daydreaming,Taito was nearly stabbed by his teacher, but quickly snapped out of it and dodged the attack just in the nick-of-time. The instructor saw that he was distracted, so he called the lesson off early. Able to finally get something to eat, Taito was thinking of ways he could try and sneak out of the castle later in the night. But, of course, he would be doubly guarded so that he wouldn't be able to escape so easily.

✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ To say the least, Marian was lectured for the next week and kept a close eye on. She was even required to attend to meetings now just so she could 'feel like a princess', at least in her opinion that's what they were doing. She wasn't left alone once except for special needs of course and when she went to bed. But each and every one of those long endless days, she dreamed about the person she met at the lake. She wanted to see him again.
So, by the next week, she finally was able to find a way to escape and left the house to go to the lake. She dressed prettier today, or rather was made to dress that way, but she also liked it because she had the intention to try and meet the man again. She kept herself descent and just brushed her hair out again of tangles that may have accumulated throughout the day and a fresh line of eye liner and mascara, that's it though, she had no need of any other type of make-up. She didn't like to use a lot to begin with. Hair down with small curls at the end. A velvet dress, sleeveless dress that buttoned closed at the back and tied behind the neck. It also showed off her tattoo, but even after dressing so nicely, she still wore her cloak to keep warm. Purposely forgetting the coat of the strangers in her room, so she'd have a reason to see him again. She waited in the shadows of the tree's this time, by sitting on the ground and leaning on one really, by the lake. Hoping he would be there tonight.

Taito It had been a long, painful, week for Taito. His body consisted of bruises, burns, and scratches all over him. Sores and blisters were also on his hands, as a result of his sword practice. Taito found all of these lessons and training completely pointless, but his father demanded it. No human dared to step foot near the castle, for fear of being killed by a horde of demons. He had just finished up with his sword training, and was given a short break before returning to start working on his magic skills. He knew he had to focus on his lessons, but the thought of that human girl kept running through his mind. As a matter of fact, for the past two nights, Taito was able to sneak out and go to the lake, in hopes of seeing her. But alas, he never did see sight of the girl. He was thinking that he wouldn’t go this time, but cleared the thought from his head. “ As they say, third time’s the charm, right,” he asked himself. Once classes were over and night had fallen, Taito had snuck his way out of the castle, yet again. He had to admit to himself, he was getting quit good at escaping without having been caught by the guards. He ran through the dense woods, making it to the lake. As the clouds parted away, the moonlight shinned brightly, revealing the girl he had wished to see, once more. In Taito’s mind, the light from the moon appeared to create a spotlight that seemed to only surround the female. He blushed, for a slight moment, but quickly shook it off. Making his way over to her, he spoke loud enough so only she could hear him, “ Hopefully, I don’t have to fish you out of the water this time,” he said in a joking manner. “ Because it seems someone has my coat,” he continued. He was now standing right beside the girl.

✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ Marian glanced up at the sky when the clouds parted and when she heard footsteps she looked back and in search for the source. Though when she found the stranger she met before, she stood up. Though when his gaze was on her as he came closer, she felt herself blushing at the intensity his gaze was. His eyes secretive but at the same time showing nearly everything. "I suppose it is a good thing that I'm not near the water this time." she returned, blushing more as he may have caught on to the fact that she 'purposely' forgot the coat.
Turning back to him she offered him a shy smile though at the same time curious about the handsome stranger at her side. "Fancy seeing you again... I didn't think we would meet up again." though she was very glad they did. He's been on her mind with no end insight and she was very curious about him. What he liked and things like that. Especially his name. It was then she noticed the scratches on his skin, from what she could see. She couldn't help herself from reaching over and caressing one in worry. "What happened? You look like you've been a fight with a gang or something..." she stated both curious and worried for him.

Taito Taito smiled, ever so slightly, at the girl as she made her comments about he water and meeting again. It was the first time, in many years, he has shown his smile to anyone. The instant the girl touched the scratch on his face, he instinctively pulled away from her hand. “ Sorry, I just don’t want your hands to be sullied by my blood,” he said with a saddened look. He wasn’t sure if the female knew if he was a demon or not, but he didn’t want to say anything, mostly because he wasn’t sure how she would react if she didn’t already know. He sat down and leaned against the tree and sighed, “ Tell me, what sort of spell have you cast on me? For the past week, all I could think about was you,” he told her truthfully. Taito was one who was honest with his feelings. He really didn’t know what was going on. He has never experienced these kinds of things before. “ What did you do to me,” he asked as he folded his arms together and looked at her sternly. ((Short...I'm sorry!))

✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ Marian was getting even more mesmerized by this person who she barely knew. His smile, how ever slight it was, had her wanting to see it more. Though she frowned slightly when he pulled away from her touch, but also realized that it was probably because they didn't know each other let alone the fact she touched him and his excuse to not bloody her hand. But she accepted it anyway, and looked away holding one of her arms by the elbow. "Sorry..." she stated softly, knowing she'd made him uncomfortable. Then he sat down and she soon joined in sitting by the tree beside him.
Though when he spoke again, she glanced at him a bit surprised as he seemed to accuse her of casting a spell. She rather unladylike dropped open her mouth a bit at his look and words. Though his admitting that he thought about her had her blushing, a lot. "I did nothing... if anything I'd think it'd be you who cast the spell for I too thought about you for the past week. I do not know any magic and it is unfair of you to accuse me of such a thing when you do not know anything about me." she stated softly, but she would not admit that she dreamed of him too and that every chance she could she would bury her face in his coat. Even with only thinking of that and what she had already admitted, she was blushing crazily. Here she was, sitting next to an incredibly handsome person and talking with him with more than a few scared words like the last time.
