I would like to hear it from everyone else if anyone from Aekea also knows how to role-play around these parts at all. I wish to know for myself, because in another group I happen to have a Potter-world roleplay project to consider working on, it takes place 5-6 years after Voldemort's demise in particular.
Shall I go and answer in regards to most other questions?

By chance, I do. I role play every once in a while when the mood strikes and I can find one worth getting into. I haven't had one that lasted in a very long time, though.

What worlds or world types have you ever role-played, by chance? I happen to have played in several different fantasy and sci-fi types of RPs, however my favorite was something a little more vague. You see, I enjoy writing, and role playing with my characters occasionally helps me develop them for my stories (which is what I should be doing now *coughcough*) and somebody developed the very simple, yet extremely useful, inter-dimensional "character cafe" where any character from any world could end up within its walls for a cup of coffee, interaction with other people's characters, and the occasional shenanigans.

(Moved this thread to the RP subforum, just FYI. I thought it seemed relevant to the topic.)

Well I could name a few threads where the closest thing we ever got to seeing that happening without any fantasy kitchen sinks threatening to happen were either a few threads that I personally started up or in another role-play group my other friends outside Aekea and I happen to be running, if that's of any help at all, really. Shall I go and explain more? Because for the latter we currently got started with a Potter-world role-play project, recently.

Should I begin with how in said role-play group, we got started on a role-play project that takes place in the Potter-world about 5-6 years after the demise of The Dark Lord Voldemort himself? Or must I begin with how a lot of things are going to start changing if they haven't already done so to begin with?

I don't know any of the details other than what you've mentioned already. Like I said, do what would be helpful for anybody who might drop by.

If anyone wishes to go by the group itself, know that its a hidden group where the role-play itself is held. As for a lot of the events that also serve as more background to said group itself, I might have a link that mentions more details about it somewhere in my list of topics, I could go and look if you like as even Philo_clio was involved.

Rock_hard_yo I was actually lookin' to join a Harry Potter roleplay, so this sounds pretty dandy. So if I may ask, did you either Join in with Pottermore or read the original 7 Potter-world novels, actually? If so, you might need to know that the one I'd have in mind is basically to take place 5-6 years after Voldemort's demise, actually.
