Ernest Hemingway once won a bet* by writing a story that could make someone cry with only six words.

*Snopes lists this particular tale as undetermined, but I like it enough to use it, so here we gooooo~

Here is your challenge, please choose to accept it. November is typically a month when we as writers are more interested in quantity over quality, so this November challenge is going to be short and sweet. Or not sweet, totally your choice.

Write for us a six-word story. It can be of any genre, of any mood, involving any subject matter. As long as it consists of six English words and tells a satisfactory story, it is eligible. Each participant gets ONE entry.

Winners will receive prizes as such:

First Place: 60,000 gold
Second Place: 6,000 gold
All Other Participants: 600 gold

Contest runs from November 1st to November 30th. Winners will be declared and prizes will be given out no later than December 5th.

Why do people always assume the worst? I figured they bought to many shoes, or it was the wrong size, or they bought boy shoes and its a girl or visa versa

Couldn't find what I wanted from a story I wrote a while back, but that's it.
Not too disturbing, is it? I can't tell.
I understood Ernest Hemingway's, but I guess it has no real effect on me.

I made them both a while back.
The first one is true, but I had to use it to tease a couple of my friends.
The music one I thought of a few months back when I was bored and wanted to change things up.
I do things like that, but with captions on pictures sometimes.
My friend hates me because she think I'm too good at it.
I have a handful of them, but have no real use for them...they collect dust on photobucket ha ha xD
