Captain's Office ========== Antonio's office isn't all that impressive. He is still a brand new captain so many of his current belongs are in boxes leaving his office rather plain looking. There are no photos or any kind of personal belongings because Antonio has no friends currently. There are some old stuff left behind by the previous Second Division Captain including a tall lamp, a couple of nightstands (all empty) and a mahogany bookshelf with some old books left behind, but it seemed that it could be used to store other items. Within the office there is also a sofa along with a small table which was used for guests or friends. The office itself is actually very large, but the room seems to be divided between the office and a door that led to Captain's room. Behind the office there is a Japanese style backyard with a pond. Antonio hopes to fill his backyard with some flowers and different plants to create his own vegetable garden.
Update: Antonio's office is currently in a pocket dimension created by his own powers. There is no way to detect this change and anyone trying to enter the office will be unavailable to unless special permission was given by Antonio himself. Antonio's room is protected by a dimensional shield which he created using his own unique space distortion abilities (given to him by his zanpakuto), No person can enter his office without his permission because no one can enter into his special dimension.

Yōsei returned from the training ground. She was sweaty but proud of her progress. Sure it took a good hour to get down not disturbing the bells. But she got it eventually and she clocked in at an impressive 7.9 secs.. beating her 12 seconds from last training. Afterward it was swordsmanship training. She looked at her arms, the standard female with no strength pass the average would have. No outstanding muscles...but they definitely hold a sword and knew how to use to it. Maybe she would go to the Squad 7 and see about getting Hakuda training. That way she could balance herself out and then surprise the enemy that would think that she was a weak girl. She snickered to herself as she stretched. She was looking forward to a hot shower before she did some more reading or was called off to a mission.
I would check with the Captain, but there's hasn't been a new captain and I really don't know anyone else on the team..
Yosei said to herself as she walked by the captain's office. She stopped. The presences she usually felt was different. It usually had the former Captain around but now it was someone new. Instead of continuing to her room, she walked over the office to see if there was another there. First she knocked but no answer came. After fiddling with the lock, she opened the door. The room was completely different. Did she get a new captain? Was there an announcement about it... Maybe there was and didn't or couldn't hear it. She sighed as she looked around. The room didn't look too bad. It was kinda barren like her office was. No photos. But then again if they new new like she was before, then they could have more stuff coming in once they fully unpacked. She sat down on the sofa She wonder what kind of person the new captain. With her luck, it would another person that would be surprised at her existence.
She yawned, the sofa was comfier than she expected as she went from sitting to laying down.

Antonio "Tony" Reyes It only takes two shots for my bullet to run through your skull Antonio walked down the halls of the Second Division towards his office. He knew the structure of the division well enough from the couple of visits he had. He worked for the Detention unit of the Onmitsukido before he was promoted to Captain and in all those years he would spend the nights in the Second Division. He memorized the location of the Captain's office so he wouldn't get lost on his first day. He walked down the hall noticing there was only silence, not another soul was present. Maybe he was feeling extra paranoid due to his earlier encounter with an arrancar, but the silence placed him on edge. He hurried to his office, but once he reached for the door he noticed something was different. He made a habit of always doing something special to the doorknob of any room he used. It was something simple like attacking a small string around the doorknob that would come unloose once someone turns the knob. This indicated him that someone either exited the door or went inside. The string was transparent so that no one would notice and no one ever thought to really look for the string. The string was now gone meaning that someone had entered his office. Antonio closed his eyes and tried to sense the presence, but he felt nothing hostile. However, there was a presence inside so he grabbed the doorknob and turned to enter. He looked around his plain office noticing that nothing was moved or disturbed. He was still cautious as he walked towards his desk.
He heard the faint sounds of snoozing and they were coming from his sofa. He walked forward and took notice of a young woman lying on his sofa, curled up and sleeping there. She had strong red hair and soft features. She was wearing the Onmitsukido wardrobe, the special kind that was perfectly fit for moving and for the activation of Shunkou. Of course no one other than the Captain of Division Two knew about this technique. She looked so peaceful, but he could that she just came from training by her dirtied clothes and the soft smell of sweat. She was different than his regular subordinates, she stood out immediately with a red hair like that, but he couldn't base this all on appearance. He was suppose to meet his seated officers and he was given folders with pictures of all his high-ranked officers. He briefly remembered seeing a woman with red hair, was she the Fifth Seat? She was very pretty.
Antonio sighed, she wasn't suppose to be here, but he didn't want to wake her up because it would be such a waste. He looked around his office, everything was still a mess, but he was sure that he unpacked his utensils. He quickly went into his room and dug through a few boxes until he finally found his sketchbook. He returned to his office and grabbed a chair as he sat some distance away from the red-haired woman. He stared at her soft features and then began to draw an outline of her body. He stared at her curves, legs, and breasts in order to have a good feel for the outline. Once he was done he started working on the details. Good thing she didn't move in her sleep. He looked from her to his sketch as he continue to draw her.

§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲ The shadows in the room convened, pulling from the individuals in the room and the inanimate objects towards a single point, in the middle of the Fifth Seat and the apparent new Captain, the shadows expunging, almost dramatically and gracefully, the Lieutenant of the Second Division, Eko Domini Tsurugi, the known Angel Hidden in Shadows, appeared in the middle of the room, his face...not the most pleasant. Not that he ever really was when on duty. His orange jacket swayed slightly as he appeared, his arms crossed as he looked down at the man, drawing the red headed girl that was seated behind him, A.K.A., the Fifth Seat Yosei Akai, The Corps Commander of the Inner Court Troop. IN front of him, he knew just from glancing at reports and so forth, was Antonio Reyes. His new...Captain...as the word around the Division was. And there was the fact that he was the Lieutenant...so he just knew.
His appearance was quiet but the individuals would feel their shadows being manipulated, and the fact that his reiatsu was still hanging around his body, what appeared to be specks of black spiraling around him giving an odd auromatic sense about the area. The look in Eko's eyes was cold, not devoid of emotion but not really giving a great source of it. He simply looked, a quick but observing glance of the new Captain before him and gave no response to his new presence. But in that moment, the shadows returned to their normal positions, their 'masters.' He stood there for a moment longer before side stepping, his hands dropping to his Zanpakutos, gripping the Masamune blade tightly, the events just prior still hanging in Eko's mind. He would not be the first to speak. He wanted to hear this man...if not the girl...talk. ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

Antonio "Tony" Reyes It only takes two shots for my bullet to run through your skull Antonio stopped drawing once he felt a great spiritual pressure being released. He looked out his windows, his eyes narrowed, that was some blast. Minutes later he felt that same presence appearing in this very room. He wasn't sure whether to be concerned or confused because neither seem to quite fit him at the moment. He became engulfed in his drawing and he was disturbed that he was interrupted from one of his favorite hobbies. However, this was dangerous to have a person with that power coming here considering he would need to have his Fifth Seat well guarded. He a strange presence and then saw that very presence appear before him. He carried a menacing reiatsu and the shadows around the room to momentarily shift as if they were alive. Antonio stared at the man with his visible eye, he took a while guess, but he could only imagine this person was none other than his Lieutenant. Talk about a flashy entrance.
The shadows calmed and everything seem to come back to normal. "Eko Domini Tsurugi," Antonio called out, he couldn't be sure it was him, but for the moment it was his best option because if it wasn't him then he would have to strike down this man swiftly. "If that is you then how did you enter this office?" He asked calmly, but there was clearly an authoritative tone to his voice. This was his first day as Captain, but he was used to leading already and regardless of his composition he demanded to know how someone could have entered his office undetected. He appeared from the shadows, but that was questionable. If he really did could appear from any shadow without some sort of medium then he was too strong to be just a Lieutenant. Deductive reasoning told him that this man could not have entered his office without having a medium for him to travel this far. Answering a Captain's question should be hard for him yet Antonio saw something odd about him clearly he was not having a good day. However, that was not his business and he hoped that his Lieutenant knew how to distinguish between his personal problems and his duties as a shinigami.

Whatever. HE showed no attention to the girl behind him as he remained motionless, still looking at the Captain. "The shadows." He said bluntly, his eyes still never moving, his body not even moving, "They are my tools. All of them. Each of them is my own tool to utilize...to move quicker and unseen than any other. I own them. I can see, observe, and here...anything. This office is no exception." His voice was flat, his eyes continually watching the man. He was not exaggerating but neither was he literally elaborating. It was a general answer. "The Roster explains...generally." At least all that the other Shinigami knew. ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

Yōsei was having a pleasant sleep. She never how tired she was and she didn't want to get up just yet. The room to her was calm and there was so other presence sensed other than the one when the room was empty. Suddenly, a new spiritual pressure awoken her. Out of reflex, she sprung off the couch, away from where the pressure was coming from. Yosei looked down to see her shadows and other ones moving around until suddenly it just stopped. No threat was coming toward. She moved her hand away from her side when her blade rested. She sighed as she stood. As she collected herself, she wince inwardly as she heard someone speak. The name "Eko Domini Tsurugi" was spoke.
Eko...Wait Lieutenant Eko? I was sleep while my Lieutenant was in the room.
She looked and paled as she stared at the two men. One was definitely Eko which meant that the other, whose face she could now recognize...was Antonio Reyes... her captain. "You've really done it now Yosei.. How do you fall asleep and then wake to the captain and Lieutenant of your squad in the same room... You'll be demoted for sure if he's merciful...
Yosei took a knee and bow to the two men in front of her. Maybe she could save face, and other ungodly embarrassment, if she made her shortcoming know and left without any further shots to her reputation. Which meant she would have to talk. She hoped her body was up for it.
"Please...forgive..me..My Captain and Lieutenant. she said with that sincere voice that was sound her age with a slight higher pitch to it. "My folly won't... happen..again.." The last of the words came out as she stood up and bowed once more. Her eyes never left the floor as her embarrassment and near shame prevented her from looking any of the men in the eyes.
She started her way to the door to leave and try to forget how she embarrassed herself in front of her commanding officers. She would not live this down for a long time...

Antonio "Tony" Reyes It only takes two shots for my bullet to run through your skull Antonio watched Eko, he was unmoving just like his uncaring expression and flat tone of voice. He nodded, "I see," He stood up and walked over to his desk pulling one of the drawers where he left the roster that Eko was talking about. He noticed the red haired woman attempting to leave. Apparently she woke up, but who wouldn't after this man's entrance? She seemed sadden by something that Antonio couldn't understand, but he couldn't have her leaving yet. "You were not dismissed," Antonio called out to halt anymore of the red-haired woman's moves. "I would like to properly meet my Lieutenant and Fifth Seat...I am Antonio Reyes, the new Captain of the Division and the Commander-in-Chief of the Onmitsukido," He took a sit on his chair and waited for his Lieutenant and Fifth Seat to approach his desk so that he wouldn't have to raise his voice more than necessary. He looked at Eko and decided to voice his opinion, "your ability to use the shadows is very impressive and will serve well in the Onmitsukido, however, everyone deserves their privacy and none more than me." He took out the folder and opened it to look through its contents as he did so he continued to speak, "from now on you are not allowed to enter this office without my permission. You will use the door like everyone else, if I need your presence urgently then I will summon you with the seal that was left on my desk." He managed to read through the Roster enough to see those specific details. Eko's profile was the first in the folder. He briefly looked at Eko to make sure that he understood his orders. Antonio was sometimes paranoid man so his guard was always active, hearing that his Lieutenant could see and hear everything in his office with his shadows placed him on edge. He would need to reinforce his office with a special seal to make sure that his privacy was kept safe.
Antonio glanced at the red-haired woman, she still seemed on edge. He sighed, maybe he was being too strict on his first day. Antonio was usually a shy person, but when it came to his duties a switch would flip in his mind which transformed him into a strict leader. Also he was still kind of an edge from his earlier encounter with the arrancar Vivian. He decided to make things easier for everyone. "I would like for you two to gather everyone in the squad and have them go to the Garden in two hours," he tried to smile kindly at them both, he was still working on his proper greetings so his smile was a little sloppy, "we will be having a small party so that everyone can relax and so that I can meet my subordinate. I hear that a party is the most sufficient way to do it." He dismissed them both so that they could get started and so that he could prepare for the party. He was still only wearing his shinigami clothes, but not his white Captain's coat.
(I will create the "Garden" tomorrow, I am going to sleep so please reply and then have your characters leave for the moment till I have finished creating the "Garden")

Yōsei stopped as her hand touched the door knob. She kept a straight posture and face but inside she was sweating. Was she going to be scolded or demoted now? She gulped as she turned around to look at him near his desk. She relaxed as he said that he just wanted to meet her and the Lieutenant. He then introduced himself as Antonio Reyes just like she thought. Instead of scolding, Antonio instead reprimanded Eko for his lack of concern of privacy so to speak. She was relieved that she wasn't being being scolded as well. She stood up straight when he looked at her for a moment. Her blues eyes looked at his dark eyes for a moment before she turned her eyes away from his.
She looked back at him once he started talking about gathering the members of the squad 2 and have them come to the garden in the allotted time of two hours. She hid her surprise when he smiled at them, or attempted as it looked as though like her he wasn't use to talking to others. She started to wonder that was true. Was he like her as well?
She almost spoke out of surprise when he talked about a small party in order to get to know each other. She nodded at him as he dismissed them to gather the people. Sure that meant maybe talking to people that... but.. She looked back at him as she made her way..
She turned the knob and walked out the door. She grinned as she walked away.

§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲ There was no sound that came from the depths of Eko's throat. Rather, the man stood, stoic and more resemblance of a marble statue than that of a man. His face, gave more semblance to how his body did. Still stone like and lacking of any true response as he listened to the new Captain. His hand still rubbed over the Masamune hilt, rubbing the spot where the seal had been laid upon. The cobalt eyes of the Lieutenant looked without any empathy towards his own Captain, his head once again jutting in the way a nod would normally be performed. Whether Yosei knew it or not, Eko could feel and more or less see the girl watching him before she left, seeing the easily displayed emotion painted upon her face as Eko was given restrictions to what he was able and not able to do. It did not bother the man certainly but it was certainly a vague concept that he would have to grasp. Even the old Captain had not cared about Eko's seeing abilities but this was a new man and no two individuals were the same, no matter how close the semblance was.
But even with these new events occurring about him, there was really only one thing that really grasped his attention at the moment and what it could circumvent and do to his family...as well as his friends. The damned seals on his blades needed to be broken, and he was well on his way to doing it, at least for the first one. Sora was still in Coffee Time, so he had no worries about her at the moment. She was well protected with Hisashi as well as Leere, so there would be no concern for Eko; who could even get to that location quicker than any other could. Senkaimons were not very exact, neither were Gargantas that the Arrancars used. Eko was precise. He merely gave another rudimentary nod towards the Captain before he turned, just as the girl was leaving, about to close the door. Even without the shadows, Eko was fast. For a moment he had been there, he was gone in another, a slight breeze giving evidence to his departure from the room, right as Yosei closed the door. The Captain was all alone. Antonio "Tony" Reyes It only takes two shots for my bullet to run through your skull Once everyone left his office, Antonio sighed leaning back on his Captain's chair. The people working under him were certainly an interesting bunch; Yousei was cute, but very shy and soft spoken (he would need to read her profile) and Eko was....silent. He wasn't bothered by them, they looked like good people and they had to be otherwise they wouldn't in the Seireitei or have such high ranks. However, there was something that bothered him; Eko's ability to use the shadows as gateways and as an extra ear was an amazing skill, but that kind of ability was best saved for missions. Antonio didn't want anyone to just have access to his office, he liked his privacy and he would continue to keep it. In other words, he would need to take some extra precautions to make sure his office was fully secured.
Antonio stood up and walked towards the middle of the room. He unsheathed his blade which transformed into its Shikai form instantly without the need for him to 'call' his zanpakuto spirit. He wasn't planning on battling anymore today so it would be okay to use his power for a bit. His black gun was held in his hand, but then a near identical white gun appeared on his other hand. He didn't normally dual-wield, but for this trick of his to work he would to borrow the power of both his guns. The office was rectangular shape with his room being squared shape. He had just the exact number of space distortion bullets for his trick to work. He began firing at the corners of his office. When the bullets made contact, they disappeared into the wall as the dimension around the room was twisted for a moment before returning to normal. He stepped into the room which was connected to his office and did the same thing, fire a bullet at each corner causing the dimension in the room to temporarily deform then return to normal. His white gun's job was done so it disappeared from his hand. There were only two exits in his office/room and they would be sealed by his last two bullets. The first exit was the door that lead to the halls and the second exit was the sliding door that led to his garden which was behind his office. Antonio aimed his black gun at the door and fired. When the bullet made contact, a portal was created, but then faded away to return the door to its original position. He fired at the sliding door that led to his garden, the same effects happening.
His black gun disappeared returning his zanpakuto to its sealed form. He sheathed his blade. His room was now completely secure and why? Because his room was now in a different dimension, it was protected by the barriers of his special dimension. Nothing could enter his office/room unless he allowed that person to enter. This would keep anyone away and no one would suspect a thing because no one in soul society knew about his space distortion abilities. His office would still appear to be there by anyone looking from the outside, but not matter how hard they tried, they would not be able to enter his office/room unless he opened the door.
Now that he was done with that task, he needed to go to the Garden in order to meet his subordinates, maybe he could do some drawing so he decided to take his sketchbook just in case. He would need to take a shower before leaving, but that all would be taken care of soon enough.

Antonio "Tony" Reyes It only takes one shot for my bullet to run through your skull Antonio was sitting on his chair with his elbows rest on his desk while he rested his head on his hands. Everyone managed to escape the blast radius from the Kido Cannon that was fired. He was glad there were no injuries caused to anyone, but he was still rather mad about the enemy using their own tools against them. The enemy would be back and they would continue to try and battle them until they achieved their goal: the death of all Captains of the Gotei 13. They would need to prepare for the second attack and this time they would not be caught by surprise. Preparation was key to all battles and this time Antonio planned on being involved in the battle. He called for all his Lieutenant, Third Seat, and Fifth Seat to join him in his office. He made sure to temporarily open a portal in his special dimension in order to allow them to enter his office. He made sure to inform everyone in his squad (especially Eko) to always wait for permission to enter his office and to also enter through the door and by no other means.
He would wait until his seated officers arrived before he briefed them on his plan to battle this new foe. He could feel a change in the spiritual energy and he knew that their attackers would be arriving soon meaning they had no time to waste. "I already have a plan to tackle this new foe. So everyone will just need to listen up and cooperate with each other."

Yosei looked at the door that would lead to Antonio's office. Honestly, she wasn't sure she could face the man after her absence and then lack of usefulness in the last battle. She couldn't help when the captains were attacked and when she arrived, it was only to fled to escape the Kido Cannon.
Walking into the room, she already saw her Captain and bowed to the man. She could only hope that he could forgive her. She took a seat and waited for the others to arrive and then listened to Antonio speak.
All she could think about the battle. The pressure was suffocating and the opponents... She felt weak... She clenched her fists. She listened to Antonio speak but she still thought about how she needed to get stronger. If she didn't, what right did she have to be a Fifth Seat of this division?

Third Seat of Squad Two
I have placed many things in the hands of others...
And I have lost them all.
Hinata had gotten loose from Antonio's grasp some distance away from the office, and had paused to look back at the sky near Squad One. She had wanted to go back and help, but she knew she couldn't do much on her own... she went with just to talk to Antonio herself. She arrived and looked around, seeing Yosei and Antonio had already gotten here. Eko was probably somewhere nearby... but he was never a social one. Nor was he one to run from a fight... Damnit... why are we here when there's still a battle going on?! We have to go and do something... She walked over to a wall and leaned against it, resting her hand on her sword handle. She would listen to Antonio, but she wanted to get out there and help drive out the invaders with her own hands. She felt a massive surge in pressure from the Squad one area, and felt a change in her brother's reiatsu. It became sharper, more defined, and lighter. Still... it felt as if it had become suddenly more powerful.
But whatever I have placed in my own hands...
That is what I still possess.
