The Battle Unit hit another warforges arm with a smithing hammer. When he examined the others arm. "Is that better M'lady?" The other warforged nodded. Her cute voice echoed passed her steel lips. "Yes... that is fine."
Battle unit let go of her arm. they were alone... and he was much older than she was. She watched him polishing his tools. "Do we ever do more than... well... this?"
He looks back up to her. "One day we will be free from our masters clutch." She gleamed for a moment. "However, we will work for them for the time being... as waging two wars would be to dangerous." She nodded, although a young warforged, was now soaring with high spirits. "Thank you." Running off to go do her next duty of patrolling the city.

(( You would not happen to mind if I get some OOC context on this? What war? What are Warforged? Things like that. ))

((In a war literally called The Great war, a war broke out so fierce that many races feared to be a part of it. In order to defend themselves, they created the warforged, beings of wood and metal to fight alongside their creators as warmachines of death and destruction. In this story, the war is ending and the Warforged are losing their purpose. The warforged have terrible social skills due to the fact that they don't talk a whole lot. Most warforges also don't have names, only descriptions of their jobs (Reasoning behind my name).))

Edwynn, fully armoured and leaning on a nearby wall, is waiting for his Warforged squad leader. His fur is ruffling gently in the slight wind, as do a few of the attachments to his armour, ammo clips, the sheathe for his electro-blade, his Blaze-rifle, of course, and a few odds-and-ends he has picked up in his time in the war, mementos, really, somethings to remind him that there is a real world out there.
His eyes glance up at the approach of the automaton, giving a slight smirk, "Where to next, boss?" He pushes off from the wall, gripping the handle of the rifle gently, flicking on the safety.

Battle Unit pushed the door open. When his living companion was already at his side. He forgot it was almost morning, and his responsibilities as Second in command were nearly at rise. "Gather the unit. It is time to pack everything and head out. I need to look at the plans and revisit my scouts. Up dated news is necessary." He looked down at Edwynn. "Did you get any rest? I know you have tendencies to doze off on the battle field when it is quiet."

He shrugs, "I napped while waiting, really." He hikes his thumb, pointing to the wall, "Those things get more comfortable than you think, you know." He laughs a bit, "I should be fine, though. Did you want me to gather people up, or was that directed at someone else?"

"Tell the other warforged that. When you are done gathering your things, meet me with my scouts. You are our fastest runner, and if anything comes up, I may need you to relay messages." He said as he looked down at Edwynn. Battle Unit was easily 4ft taller than Edwynn and 3ft taller than the other warforged. His spikes combing his back, arms and legs. Massive jagged spikes in his hands and Head. A massive jaw which looks like could easily crush a skull or another warforge. "I will wait for you if the scouts have nothing to report."

He nods, giving a curt bow, "Yessir, my eyes and ears are yours." He then turns, flicking off the safety, rushing off to find warforge after warforge, passing on orders to muster-up, Alpha Commander wanted it. He stops in front of his inn room, glancing inside to see if there was anything of his meagre belongings left, then rushes off, continuing to pass the word, content he had everything.

He had already discussed with his scouts. Now he was making a new plan. He need not send any messages. He had more uses for his companions fast speeds. He waited patiently after he figured his plan of attack. Wrapping the maps and passing it off to one of his scouts. "Go to our general, tell him we have the undead enemy taken care of." The scout warforge nodded and left right away with the papers.

Within minutes, the wolf had returned, panting slightly, and gesturing behind him, where a small group of Warforged were still far away, yet approaching, "Sir, Alpha Company is mustering now. Though that is not all of them, many were caught in a deadlock for important places. Seventy-percent will be present within the next few minutes."

"We can afford some time. It is up to us to deal with this ourselves. Our company will deal with the undead threat themselves. No reinforcements or back up." He said as he looked in the direction of the enemy.

He nods, streaming over the comms, "Alpha who are in range, scatter, and clear out the remaining undead insurrectionists. No prisoners, no mercy." The group instantly reacts, scattering out and searching. Ed glances up, "My orders, sir?"

"I need you to over watch me while I make a distraction. When I uncover the necromancers, save your rounds to kill them instead of wasting it on the zombies. We need to eliminate them when we can." He began to march ahead of the army behind him. "Remember, watch over me. Save your ammo for the necromancers. And make sure you don't get spotted. I will distract them for you."
