Take the level of your pokemon and add it to the level of their pokemon that you have beaten. Then divide by 2. Take that answer and multiply by .3 and remove the very first number of the result.
Example:
13 +10 = 23
23 / 2 = 16.5
16.5 x .3 = 4.95
exp = 95 points
This goes for wild pokemon and tame pokemon.
Battles won against ordinary trainers gain another added 10 points, and against gym leaders gain another added 20 points. Similar to the game style (except I don't actually know how it works and this sounded legit at the moment )
There's also +100 for every "day" spent, and a new level is obtained with every 300 points.
