Well, I heard of NANA I think if that's what it was called or was it Elfen Lied that was sad...Oh well but if you guys have any anime that is sad or yea sad then Please tell me cause I just want to cry that's all. Ha ha I know but I think crying is kind of my hobbies. (*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ)) So I recommend you to tell me or so, you don't have to though...

All of the Key anime (Air, Kanon 2006, Clannad, and Clannad: After Story) are considered pretty emotional. I have mixed feelings about them, but plenty of people have mentioned crying over them. Little Busters just started airing, so I don't know whether or not that's what you'd want.
AnoHana came out last year. It didn't personally bring me to tears, but it has some sad moments.
Grave of the Fireflies is about a couple of siblings trying to survive in WWII Japan and is semi-autobiographical. Probably the closest an anime has gotten to making me cry.
Fullmetal Alchemist (both 2003 and Brotherhood) run the gamut of emotions, including tearjerking moments. People fight over which is better; I think everyone is ridiculous and love and recommend both.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a pretty fantastic magical girl series, but it has no shortage of sad moments.

Negima, the renowned romantic comedy, has 2 episodes that have me crying so hard it hurts. One's the episode where Asuna bites it, (Memento Mori) and the other (blast it, I cannot think of the Latin title) is the episode with Sayo's backstory.
The latter gets me EVERY. &%#$@. TIME.

I would have to say Ga Rie Zero is the only anime to get to my emotions.
You know after the first two episodes how this show is going to end, but it still made me get teary.

Clannad/Clannad: After Story were both pretty emotional. Made me tear up, especially episode 21-22 in A.Story Angel Beats... A lot of the visual key anime. Sword Art Online which is right here and I sent the link because it's difficult to find the anime ((very new sweatdrop ))

Few already mentioned Clannad and other works from KEY nearly always make me cry at the most saddest moment.
Rozen Maiden series have few moments which is sad a well.
