There are many parts to a city, some good and some bad. You have the business district, china town, the getto, the slums, immigrate district, the downtown markets and the large park everyone goes too. There is another place in the city. This place full of streetwalkers, low rate motels, crime and sexshops. This place is the red light district home to all manner of criminals, drugdealers, pimps, whores, brothels, massage parlors, and prostitutes all of whom have sold thier souls to the devil. Surely no child would be brought up in such a place as this.
Sometimes SS doesn't find that child in time. Michel C. Lovey is the son of a prostitute and her drugdealer. From day one his life was fulled with problem after problem. He was born addicted to crack and never recieved proper medical care for it, many nights the screams of a shaking baby echoed through out the apartment building. As he got older Michel's mother did the best she could for him; she enrolled him in school and even gave him to a friend to be rised outside the redlights. Michel did well in school however struggled with making friends and being social with other children his age. Things only got worst whenone day when his mother picked him up from school, a boy of his class recongized her as the woman his father had an affair with and started to yell out, 'Son of a whore.' Everyday after that Michel was teased, beaten, and bullied. They would carve whore into his desk, write it on his gym uniform and even force him to strip down naked in the bathrooms then steal his clothes. Michel was an outcast. One day in fall as usual Michel found himself alone in the classroom with his bullies and unable to escape from the fists and kicks. Durning the struggle, Michel managed to get ahold of a pen and without thinking jammed it into one the attacker's eyes as hard as he could. Blood filled screams echoed out in the room. Michel didn't wait for teachers or help; he climbed out the window and ran all the way home, home to the red lights of the city.
Michel never returned to school nor the world outside the red lights. Instead he went back to living with his birth mother and started learning the tricks of the trade. Since he was still too young for sex, Michel was taught skills by others in the lights while he also operated as manager or pimp to help his mother get customers. As his 15th birthday near Michel started take on female customers and soon had a long list of clients. It would seem that the son of a whore lived up to his name well.
As highschool started for many Michel's mother managed to get him enrolled. She didn't want her son to stay in this life though there was little she could do however Michel agreed to go to school for her sake. However Michel pulled his tricks even at school. He was far from being stupid, Michel was quite smart and could pass school with ease if he chose too. However he prefered to continue his tricks by either pimping himself out to females teachers or to girls who wanted a boyfriend for a short period of time. As long as they paid cash, Michel did it. His actives made him once again the target of bullies but Michel was no longer a child and was more than able to take care of himself.
Even with his actives, past and mother, Michel is the hearttrob of the highschool. Girls often confessed to him but he rejected everyone of them. Does the son of a whore have a cold heart and is only good for one thing? Or is there more than what others see?

(I guess this is the thread? 0.0 I hope so) Name: Kelsy Harding Age: 16 Personality: While Kelsy is smart and direct, she is also fun with her own little quirks just like everyone else. She tried her best to be level headed and even though she'd prefer to be a realist, she often finds she is actually quite optimistic. That being said she believes purely good humans exist....somewhere. She just hasn't met many yet. She had a high IQ and easily picks up new things and retains almost everything she learns. She is the kind of person who will give almost anyone a chance, but once you mess up its nearly impossible to get back on her good side. Her weaknesses in personality would definitely be that she is a little vane mentally. She believes she is smarter than almost everyone she meets and that she is generally a better person than most. Likes: Music, fairs/festivals, history Dislikes: Anyone bossing her around, ignorant people, corn Bio: Kelsy's father was born into a family law firm that had been in business for over fifty years and was extremely successful. Kelsy's mother left her and her father when Kelsy was three years old to sew her wild oats. She showed herself as a stone cold user though when she took Kelsy's father for all she could squeeze out of him, however they arranged for him to pay her off extremely well in one lump sum and divorce her. After that Kelsy didn't see hide nor hair of her mother again for years. Kelsy's father was loving and kind and thought of Kelsy as his world, however he was busy and worked constantly. He remarried when Kelsy was about ten, she wasn't the kind of woman who liked kids or wanted them. She was the kind of woman who mostly hung out at the country club and stayed sober about an hour a week. When Kelsy started school she desperately tried to help Kelsy make friends by trying to get her to throw parties and get in with the cool crowd, but Kelsy wasn't into it and they lost the only bond her step mother tried to make with her. After that the middle school and high school years went by with her step mother constantly making fun of her like another school girl, telling her husband it was all in good fun and that she was hoping for slight behavior modification through jokes. Finally within the last few months, Kelsy's mother reappeared, asking her father to take her back, that she was finally ready to settle down and that she'd let him keep his current wife as a mistress. Since then he has let her come over for a dinner every now and then to see Kelsy, thinking it would be healthy to let the girl meet her mother....although he tries to limit their contact and recently began discussing a restraining order against the user of a woman with Kelsy. Altogether not an entirely bad life, she always had one loving parent even if he was always out of town and she never went without.

Around six fifteen, right as the sun began to set, a girl with clear, perfect skin, bright blue eyes, and silky brown hair pulled into a pony tail walked the sidewalks of the red light district. while the girl had a lovely face she was wearing a hooded jacket that was perhaps two sizes too big for her, however it was marked with the crest of one of the most prestigious co-ed private schools on the city. Underneath that you could see the edge of her pleated skirt. However other than her clothing she didn't seem to be anything spectacular.
She pushed her glasses up on her nose, a simple pair of wire rims, as she looked around, seemingly calm as she looked for something that was familiar to her. As she walked Kelsy thought of how she ended up here. Earlier that day as they got out of school Kelsy stood outside the gate waiting for her friend to arrive so they could ride home together like usual. However she received a call from the girl saying she was taking her new boyfriend somewhere this afternoon and for Kelsy to arrange her own ride.
Kelsy looked at her phone, displeased, however she couldn't say she didn't see this coming. Katherine was a bad friend already, if you could even call her a friend. Their dads just worked together really. That and Kelsy could understand, Katherine just bagged a boy on the basketball team and they were formally boyfriend and girlfriend....however Kelsy didn't expect it to last very long. Katherine was way to easy for that. Either way Kelsy was left to find her own ride home or walk. So she pulled up her phone and started up her gps, she lived more than a few blocks from the school and to be honest he didn't exactly hang out in the city much and when she was out she was being driven.
Either way when she realized how bad the neighbor hood was she tucked her phone in her pocket and tried to keep to herself as she walked around, hopelessly lost.
Kelsy would have asked a friend for help....if she had any really who WOULD help her, and she would have asked her father, but he was in Tokyo right now working on a really big deal, and she would have called her step mother, but she had her phone off as she was getting her legs waxed and a massage today at the spa and she wouldn't be home until nine that night. Her real mother? Not a likely choice either, she was a stone cold user who wouldn't give Kelsy the time of day unless it would get her closer to the girl's father again. And that was about Kelsy's life in a nutshell. Her mom ran away when Kelsy was young, her father was one of the most prominent business men in the country who had been listed on New York's richest, most eligible bachelors several years in a row until her step mother stepped in and took on the role of spending most of his money and enjoying his dinner conversation.

"Look you get what you paid for. If you don't like it then take it up with the devil. No refunds." Michel kicked the woman from his room and sat up on the bed. He looked at the clock. Past six already? The day goes by fast when you skip school. He groaned as he stood up, pushed his red hair back and put on a shirt. Another day in the red lights and it felt good. He dressed and pocketed his cash before heading out. Outside he could hear the usual sounds of sirens, gunshots, and the catcalls of men to the women in the windows. Home sweet home. Where most would be scared to walk these streets, Michel had been walking them since he was 10. He knew every drug dealer, whore and pimp on each corner. This wasn't a place to fear, this was his home. He hated leaving it just for something like school. Michel lived alone in small apartment in the center of the red light district. He spent more time in it than at school. Michel headed down the street for the corner store. Halfway there he noticed a girl in a school uniform. She was not from here. The look on her face made it clear she was lost. At first Michel was going to keep walking but he knew if he left her alone, someone worst than him could come along and snatch her up. "Hey!" He stopped in front of her. "You lost? Shouldn't be walking around this place wearing something like that. If you need help, I can get you out here."

Kelsy's eyes widened and she jumped a bit at the sudden approach before she smiled brightly and laughed a little, feeling silly for being so jumpy. "Sorry, uh Hi." She looked around, then looked back at him, blushing a bit,"Yeah I got a little lost trying to walk home from school today." she was embarrassed to admit. She blinked at him a moment, she didn't expect a random stranger to offer her help, the city was a touch place, if it wasn't some kind of business shark it was someone who didn't want to get involved. and this being the red light distract didn't do anyone any favors. "If you could help me out that would be amazing and I would definitely be in your debt." She said, pulling on the edges of her sweat shirt, trying to pull it down. She knew what he meant by 'wearing something like that' and she suddenly felt even more self conscious than she did before. Kelsy didn't know why, weather it was that he was extremely hansom, or that he was closer to her age than most she'd passed, or perhaps it was that he was the first to come up and offer her help - but Kelsy decided she was going to trust him not to lead her to a warehouse on the river and instead help her get out of this neighbor hood and then get home. Kelsy felt stupid being afraid of this neighborhood, she tried to tell herself that these people were humans too, filled with emotions and compassion, but the truth of the matter was she had been trained to be afraid of bad neighborhoods and she had never really experienced one yet. Aside from him helping her he was, like it was previously stated, hansom in a kind of bad boy way -and she suspected that if all those highlights were stripped away he could pull off a whole different look of hansom- and he made her feel naked and fat all over. Even though Kelsy had anything a girl could ever want and a high metabolism, and even a special diet her step mother implicated with help of the cook at home to make sure her step daughter didn't get fat - however even with all of that Kelsy was a shy girl who didn't have any friends at school and in place of them had all the insecurities of a normal girl. Someone in her position might had high confidence - but maybe something just went wrong with Kelsy somewhere along the road, causing her to put more interest into her books and less into the kids at school.

"Come on, this is not the place for school girls." She might see the men watching her from the shadows but he did. They were looking at her like she was a piece of meat. He grabbed her hand, pulling her close to him. One arm around her waist. It was not meant as a romance gesture, more a warning to those in the shadows that she was with him. "Where you live? I can walk you home." He was starting to lead her out of red lights. Honest he was surprised she had made it as far as she did here without some snatching her into a car or into their warehouse. Red Lights wasn't bad as some other neighbourhood but for a girl in uniform it could be. "This way.." They went down what seemed like a deadend alley but Michel pulled her down a cornor that was partly hidden. They went down a few more backways and streets before they came to the end. You always know when you aren't in the red lights anymore by how bright it suddently got. The story was the red lights was full of so much sin that the sun refused to shine there but in truth it was just because of the way the building were made. Michel let her go. The girl wasn't bad looking, rather pretty but she didn't seem like his type. It was normally the busty blonde - cheerleader and pretty type girls whom he was normally with. "I'll still walk you home.." He pushed his red hair back. "You are looking a little out of place here still. Promise no one will bite you as long as I am here."

Kelsey frowned, her expression changing to one of confusion and slight alarm at his words, she followed him as he told her to, glancing over her shoulder - wondering if this was such a good idea. Thats when she felt his hand on her own and her eyes widened as he pulled her to him, she looked down, blushing because they were so close now. Not only was she not exactly a social butterfly, but she hadn't had any experience with boys... However she continued to follow him, she looked around as they emerged into the artificial light created by the lights of the city. She felt like she just stepped out of a strange atmosphere and into Earth's atmosphere filled with oxygen once again, just regaining her breath after it was difficult to breath. She looked back at him, her brunette pony tail flipping behind her head as her bright, blue eyes met with his own, she felt like she was being a burden again, however she smiled slightly as he made his final comment, obviously a joke - right? She gave him a shy, bright smile and nodded,"I'd really appreciate that if it wouldn't be too much trouble." She said. Kelsey stayed by his side, walking easily with him the rest of the way to her house. "Hey I know this took a lot of time and you didn't have to help me tonight, but if it wasn't for you I might not have made it home tonight and I want you to know I really appreciate it. Is there any way I can repay or reward you? Anything you want that I can give you, it's yours." She said easily. You could tell just by looking at her house that it was an easy promise to make and to keep, especially since she didn't offer many people any kind of reward. Kelsey lived in an upper class neighbor hood, the kind of neighbor hood where people had lavish parties for every occasion, even the street lamps seemed brighter here - however Kelsey didn't seem to be a snob as she looked up at him, her eyes bright, and her face filled with innocence and sincerity.

'Girl lives high up on the ladder.' he thought as he looked around the upper class neighbor hood. He felt out of place here like a rabbit among a bunch of wolves. Just being here reminded him how much he hated being in places like this. People always looked at him as if he had was trash. "No consider it my good deed for the day I suppose. Next time try to be more carefull on where you go in the city." He turned down her offer, mainly because before they had meet he had gotten paided already. "If you find yourself in my section of woods again, just tell someone you looking for Lovey. They'll send you my way." He waved and started to leave. This place was making him feel sick to his stomach. Even if no was looking, he could feel invisble eyes on him, hear voices laughing and telling him he was nothing. Just the worth son of a whore. He balled his fist. 'Got to get out this place.' Michiel picked his pace, only stopping to look back at the girl. She didn't look at him like trash but she couldn't be any diffrent than the rest liviing in these high class homes. "My name is Michel by the way, Michel Lovey. Might see around sometimes but I can't promise anyting."

Kelsey seemed confused again as he hurried away, insinuating she would return to the red light district or get lost there again. "Wait!" She ran over, taking his hand in her own,"I don't want that." She said, making sure he was stopped before she let his hand go, her big, blue eyes not understanding why he was rushing away when she was trying to be polite. "I want to see you again, you helped me and I just want to repay you some how." She looked around, as if she were searching for words or ideas before she looked back at him,"If its something about male pride or whatever then maybe I can come into where you work and give you a good recommendation or get you a lot of commission. I'm really smart, I could tutor you and get your grades up, o-or I can..uhm I dunno please just let me do something for you. I'd never feel right if you just left....especially if we were to possibly never see each other again." Again she really seemed sincere and thoughtful - just plain different from most people. anyone else might be relieved he didn't ask for much and go on their way. "Please." She didn't take her eyes off of his, she didn't look down at him like trash - she just wanted to do something nice. She stood back,"Besides, how would my karma ever be in order if I didn't do something nice in return?" She folded her arms, waiting on him to give her a task or make a request something, anything.

He laughed some. She was really wanting to keep him around and pay him back. "No offense but I don't really want anything. I saw you were lost and scared and helped you out. Someone like you from this side of the city ends up in one of two places in the red lights and trust me they aren't good." He pulled his hand free from hers but didn't run off. She looked like she was begging him to stay. "Alright if you want to pay be back for this, then just give me forty bucks and take my card." He took a gold crested card from his pocket. It simply said on it, 'Boy for hire, willing to do anything.' At the bottom was his number. "Besides you uniform tells me we don't even go to the same school. Mine is like four blocks from yours and I don't even go it half the time so tutoring won't help me any. Call the number if you need anyting."

She struggled not to take offense by his words, she thought she was a little street wise, but maybe she really wasn't as in tune with the city as she thought. She took his card and looked at it - it implicated a lot with how general and vague it was. She looked up at him as he continued to speak and nodded,"Got it.." she said quietly then paused a moment, wondering what to do next,"Oh! Right!" She pulled her purse to her side and dug through it until she found her wallet and pulled out the money before she held it out to him, she seemed a little awkward - like she wasn't really sure what to do in this situation, however it was an odd situation to be in. She said goodnight and went inside after that. The next morning she woke up and brushed her hair and got dressed for school like always as she thought about her night. She had breakfast then got outside to meet the driver who drove her to school after picking up a girl who carpooled with them. she was leaving her school when she was knocked in the shoulder by another girl and she was knocked over, her purse spilling all over the floor, someone noticed and came by to help her. "Thanks." Kelsey said,"Sure," The girl replied, however she got a strange look on her face as she picked up Michel's card, she handed it back to Kelsey,"So thinking about a date to the prom? Or something more serious?" She asked, holding back laughter,"I'm sorry what?" The girl looked at the card,"Michel 'dated' my cousin for a few weeks. That is, as long as she kept up her payments." The girl laughed and left, leaving Kelsey shocked that her original thoughts had been right. Later that afternoon Kelsey found her phone on her table as she stared at it, wondering what she should do....What if this was fate? She had such a horrible past few months....what if running into a guy who provided these kinds of...services? was some divine intervention saying she deserved to treat herself and get everyone off her back for a while...? Kelsey picked up the phone and dialed his number, then waited patiently for him to pick up. She'd say thank you again for his help and ask him if he was free for the next few months, she had a prom and a birthday party coming up that she needed a date for and she'd like to hire him to be her boyfriend for a while, she'd ask his rates then make it official...however someone did that?

"Michel! Get up! You are going to school today!" Michel groaned as he listened to his mother pound on the door. 'someone kill me.' he thought. The boy got up, hair a mess and clothes tangled. After a quick shower Michel dressed in ripped jeans and an old shirt. Michel hated school maybe more than your normal student. The boy was far from stupid. In fact if you gave him a test, he was going to past but Michel prefered to skip or sleep through his classes. It was all so boring to him. The girls throwing themselves at him, the guys who hated him, and the teachers who annoyed him. 'remind me again why I come here.' he thought. "Michel? I heard you were seen uptown the other day with some pretty thing on your arm. How did you get someone like her? Take off your pants?" The boy laughed at his joke. Michel smirked. "No unlike you, I got class and ladies find me attractive. Only your mother could love your face." The boy growled but Michel just left the room. He went to his favorite spot in the school, gym. He had found a place to hide in a old ball closet and had made it home with snacks and drinks. In the end Michel fell asleep only being woke up by the final bell and the sound of girl's basketball team coming to practice. "Ugh.." Michel got up and started for home. He used the forty dollars she had given him to pick up some dinner for him and his mom. Halfway home his phone rang. 'unknown number. I hope its work.' "Hello, this is Michel. You get what you pay for. What you want?" Michel knew the voice on the other end at once. It was the girl from the other night whom he had walked home. "Oh its you. What can I do for you? Business or pleasure?"

Kelsey had sort of been hoping the phone would go to voice mail, she was both alarmed and excited when he picked up the phone, her heart fluttering like a clumsy girl with a crush. "H-hey its Kelsey," She began, she became a bit more flustered when he asked if this was business or pleasure,"Well its a bit of both I suppose." She said, blushing ever so slightly and checking the hallway to make sure no one was there before she shut the door,"You see a girl at school saw your card when I fell today and she actually gave me a great idea. I really wanted to see you again, and I actually do think I could use your help again so I figured we could help each other out. You see I have a prom and a personal birthday party coming up soon and I'd like a date for both, you know to get my parents off my back and stuff, so I was wondering if I could hire you to be my boyfriend for the next three months? If you aren't previously engaged I'd like to know your rates for a job like this?" )Sorry conversation, and btw she'll calm down soon XD )

"My rates depend on what you want. Since you just want a pretend boyfriend, lets see for three months." He was doing math in his head. Michiel might sleep through classes but he was a genius when it came to math. "Normally for a job like this I would charge by the week but since you are so nice, just pay me three hundred dollars for the whole three months. Any other expensives that might happen durning this that money covers. I won't charge extra on anything and please believe by the time I am finished, people will think we are engaged. If you want to make this final, call me again in thirty minutes and we can meet up somewhere." Michel said a quick bye and hung up the phone. He caught the bus home. "mom I got dinner." She wasn't there. 'must be working early today.' His mother wasn't home often so Michel was use to being alone. After eatting raman for dinner, he texted Kelsey. 'There is a park up town near the library. Meet me there.' She looked like a girl who would know where the library was. He changed clothes really quick, grabed a skateboard and headed for the park.
