Fashions have quite differed from the time of Greece and Rome, where simply a black toga would do. Things have become tighter, more complex, and simply, more sexually oriented. I have taken to a tall build, but without much muscle. I do not like to appear like Ares, who is a brute with no brain. However, just because I appear scrawny, does not mean that I am weak. I have pale skin, I know, because I am a being of darkness and spend most of my time in the Underworld. I do not like to be in the sunlight, because it makes me feel very vulnerable. I tend to have dark shadows around my eyes, but thanks to the customs of today, it can be disguised as eyeliner. I tend to wear black clothing. My favorite is leather, truthfully. Just something about the cured cow skin makes me interested. I wear black leather pants most of the time, as well as Gucci loafers when I am in the mood. Other times, I wear heavy boots that, to keep them secured with the amount of movement I have to use, have belts and laces all over them. I tend to wear a simple cotton t-shirt oftentimes, and then a heavy leather jacket with belts, chains, and whatever other such accessories suit me at that moment. I try to keep my hair short but stylish, as it stays away from my eyes for the most part. I also decided to take after some of the men of this day and age, wearing studs and hoops in my ears, mostly silver and onyx jewelry. Around my wrist is a cloth bracelet that turns into my scythe when I will it to. My eyes are a dim gray, and I often wear reflective sunglasses, as mortals are far too weak to look into my eyes and see the visions of death that rise from them...

Of course, it is questioned whether or not Erebus is truly my father, or if I am Nyx's son alone. ｐｌａｙｉｎｇ ｎｉｃｅ ↘↘ I have my twin brother, Hypnos, along with my half-brothers Morpheus, Phobetor, and Phantasos. ｈａｖｉｎｇ ｍｙ ｅｙｅｓ ↘↘ I do not usually sire children. I have a few at the camp at the moment, but you would not recognize them by name, as they have not done anything worthy quite yet... ｈｅａｒｔ ｈｅａｒｔ ↘↘ I do not associate with gods and goddesses enough to truly find myself enjoying anyone's company. I get along with only two people; my twin brother Hypnos and lord Hades. ｂｒｅａｋｉｎｇ ａｒｍｓ↘↘ If I could get rid of any one goddess, it would be Persephone. That damned girl is so difficult at times, and so trusting. She trusted Sisyphus' word that he wanted to say goodbye to his wife, but Sisyphus had previously tricked me into his chains. Not to mention she let Alkestis free! Damnable woman...

xxxxxxxxxxxxLIVEforeverWITHme ｗａｎｔ ｔｈｅｍ ↘↘ I like darkness, solitude, Hades, silence, Hypnos, Hypnos' cave, and my mother, Nyx. ｇｏ ｄｉｅ ↘↘ Noise, light, tricksters, Persephone, anything that doesn't die, my father, Erebus, and being made a fool of. ｈａｖｉｎｇ ｐｅｒｋｓ ↘↘ I am cold, hateful person. I do not allow myself to be attached to anything, for nothing is close to me long enough. My own children make me quite angry, so I tend to avoid those. I am generally difficult to deal with, assuming you don't know how to deal with me, and I do not take disrespect. When I am disrespected, I become angry and strict. This has happened with mortals who attempt to outwit me in my own realm, the worst of all being Sisyphus. More than anything, I can't stand people who are so blindly trusting. It makes me want to strangle Persephone most days! ...Of course, that comment is not to be mentioned to Lord Hades.
There is something Hesiod said of me and my brother that is quite reminiscent of our true selves.
Hesiod And there the children of dark Night have their dwellings, Sleep and Death, awful gods. The glowing Sun never looks upon them with his beams, neither as he goes up into heaven, nor as he comes down from heaven. And the former of them roams peacefully over the earth and the sea's broad back and is kindly to men; but the other has a heart of iron, and his spirit within him is pitiless as bronze: whomsoever of men he has once seized he holds fast: and he is hateful even to the deathless gods.
