Phillip Morgan stood on the helm of his ship looking out at the beautiful ocean that he called home. They had been in open waters for about two weeks now, and most ships were giving his a wide berth... at least until his attention was peeked by the most elaborate vessel he had seen in a while. Given that most ships had their colours flying at all times, pirates generally being the exception to this rule, he could see the royal colours. Ah, what a prize. It had been far too long since Captain Morgan had had the good noble to torment. Morgan was well known for attacking the nobility, had even earned himself the title 'Pirate Lord' after holding his first lord at gun point with the phrase, 'Who are you to tell me I am no Lord, why sir, I am the Lord of the sea!' Of course, Morgan was well known for stealing kisses from husband's wives and fiancee's just to watch them squirm, liked to steal the most valuable things on board, sometimes taking everything, right now to the clothes on their back. Yes, Captain Morgan loved his line of work, and with his target in sight he barked orders at his crew. They leapt into action instantly and the ship turned as their course changed. Eyes as blue as the ocean stayed focused on his prey. He would strip this vessel of all it's beauties and then return to his island. It was hidden, far enough from the trade route that no one saw it, and the side that could be seen was barren due to the strange winds that raged over it while farther down the bank the land was lush and bountiful. Wooden huts had been erected, and thanks to their plentiful bounty they had stocked each one with a proper four poster bed with plush mattress, wardrobes and then other personal luxury. To some it may have seemed extreme but the Island was the only place that the pirates could call home, after all, they were wanted men and most ports would rat them out if given half a chance. Who could resist a place of their own?! They got closer. "Hoist the flag!" He roared, well aware that the glint of spyglasses would now be upon them. Bring it on. He thought, he almost hoped that they would dare to stand against him. His ship, the Night Rambler, was obvious due to the unique the detail. It was a female, not unusual on it's own, but the wings that roared from her back where intricate and delicate to the point that they looked real, as if the figurehead would fly off and squash his foes in a blink of an eye. In the corner of his eye Morgan was aware that his flag was steadily rising, soon they would know they were pirates. "Prepare the guns." He barked, knowing his order would be followed without hesitation. He was heavily gunned, something that stopped most of the nobility from fighting back in fear that he would sink them to the bottom of the Ocean or worst. The wind rushed past him. He felt so alive. Kitsu-chu-X If you could quote me when you reply that would be wonderful! Thanks hun x

┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ̶Alec ̶A̶lanatois ℙℙPemberren ┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ~♚~A large gust of glorious sea breeze whirled past the young man who was leaning against one of the sides of their magnificent vessel. The noble born male was not one to find the sea's constant "to and fro"ing bothersome, but it was overwhelming to finally be out on the water/ There was this stigma surrounding his family, along with others whom had direct descent from the throne in their blood, about venturing out too far at sea. Crazy tall tales as far as he was concerned, of pirate raids, merfolk charming sailors to the watery depths.. Of course there were pirate raids, but it was hard to believe that they were as thrilling and death defying as all the stories foretold. The cross out over those cold harsh seas was merely pleasant so far for Alec Alanatois Pemberren. He was headed for the main capital across the vast body of water, where his father Duke Pemberren , lived and worked aside their Majesty. He was being called there to become a true man of the Pemberren household. To hold his family name and crest and work alongside his father and honour the King. Of course he was completely nervous! Travelling so far over seas, with nothing but the Captain's word; one which he wasn't too sure about.
~♚~ Another gust salt sea air coursed through his charcoal locks, completely ruining their once neat and composed appearance, had him push away from the wooden structure he was leaning on and head back towards his quarters. A few snide comments from the crew were voiced when he passed by, on deck but spoken under their breath in such a guttural tone that he couldn't comprehend what they had said.. Not that he really wanted to know. A lot of the lower ranked crew were crystal clear on their opinion of shipping nobles from pillar to post. For first-mates, second-mates and others it was a privilege but for the workers who were slugging their guts out, not so appreciated. Alec had no qualms with it though, he was a eloquently spoken polite young man, brought up under a strict rule that would not allow anything less so. And he was proud of it. Sure coaxed to a point of not knowing all the woes in the world, other than his own, but it was just the way as an upper-class men. Naivety being something only the rich could afford. He'd spent no less than a mere minutes in the plainly laid out room (something that truly bothered him as he appreciate the finer details of life, that to whom ever had designed the basic room, was ignorant of) before there was a clear growing atmosphere outside. He could hear shouts and the heavy thud of rushed steps from thick worker boots clatter along the wooden deck. Curiosity combined with slight anxiety was getting the better of him but before he had a chance to rise to his feet, the door flung open with a slightly out of breath well tanned gruff man. "No need t' worry Young master, just.. Just'a sligh' change'n course." The quartermaster barked at the young indigo eyed noble. Causing him to merely arch one elegant brow in response before nodding. He'd just about caught what was said, but as quickly as he'd appeared the man left leaving Alec to merely blink in confusion.. It didn't sound like just that.
~♚~ Little did he know that there was panic amidst the men on board as they were fending off the fast approach of what could only be by its distinctive shape; a pirate ship. His Majesty's ship 'The Condor' was well known for its elaborate design, even the wood from which the ship was formed was of expensive origins, and was rarely sailed... A major disadvantage there. The crew were never one with the ship, they didn't know her runs well or layout of speeds, also it was like waving a flag that read "carrying important items". Usually they only sailed with a sister ship, the "Navigator" know for its heavy armoury but surprising speed. A ship which unfortunately was called out earlier in the month as extra protection for a trading port that had been under countless pillaging.. But that left the prestigious Condor alone on the open waters. Something that the captain and quarter master were nervous about. They'd been fools to assume the lowered count of pirate raids on actual ships at sea was indication for them to sail safely. She was heavily laden right now, with spices, metres of fine silk and tapestries, barrels or rum, countless sacks of oats, and even precious iron ores. All were to be presented to the royal family for negotiations with neighbouring empires. But rather stupidly all on one ship. Along with the young Pemberren. The captain had made a fatal error of sailing with the ship, required for transporting nobility, especially one whose lineage was close to royalty, mainly because he assumed by people not knowing a Pemberren was aboard, then they would leave them well be, not realising the ship itself was a sign for nobles.
~♚~ Alec grew increasingly worried as shouts grew louder, but he didn't know if he was needed out on deck.. One with his slight frame and only rehearsed fencing skills would be of little use.. But he knew something wasn't right, he took to his feet, heeled polished slim fit boots light on the ground before straightening his uniformed jacket, the ruffled sleeved white shirt beneath a little billowed round the neck, cravat in place, before taking leave. Alec had progressed no further than a few steps before a crew member slung past, hand fisted in the boy's shirt collar, and he was hauled below to the bowls of the ship, with nothing but a 'stay here' grunted at him, the door shut and bolted leaving him tumbling slightly, balanced lost as the rock of the boat was felt down there, over a few sacks; one arm catching the edge of a barrel before he'd properly fallen as he corrected his footing whilst the other wrapped nervously round his slim waist, as signature blood line orchid coloured eyes looked back throughout the room nervously before up at the wooden grate that he could see through up onto deck, although from here the most he could see were passing shadows of the men on board, nothing more. Crew up top were edgy as they manned their cannons, a move that the captain didn't wish to take having so much valuable and very much sinkable cargo on board.

"It's the Condor boys!" He called to his crew, several whoops and roars of laughter erupted. For as long as they could remember they had had a desire to take this particular ship... the 'untouchable'. She was normally paired with her more heavily armed twin, but today sailed alone. How arrogant of them. His smirk rose, spreading from ear to ear as he plotted their downfall and taught them a lesson they wouldn't soon forget. Turning to his first mate, a man near his height with green eyes and a very English gentleman feel to him he said, "Get a team together, have them sneak on board and train their guns on whoever is in charge. You know the drill. My command." He nodded and returned his attention to his target. Part of him was tempted to take the ship, maroon the crew and laugh as they had to face the blame and shame from whatever stately lord was paying them. Taking a deep breath, his anticipation for the hunt rising. He barked yet another order, "Run a shot across the bow." It was a warning shot, and he wanted to know how the other ship would react. Either way he would be boarding this ship, it was up to them if they wanted it the hard way or the easy way. He was interested in knowing why should a grand and relatively defenceless ship was risking such a journey... what cargo did it hide? In the corner of his eye he was aware that the boarding planks had been gathered, that the crew who would secretly board were hidden and in position to do just that. Those not manning the cannons or the sails had their guns ready to show their intention. We will take you by force... and like it! The wind blew harder, catching in their sails and giving them a burst of energy that propelled them forward. Soon they would be upon their prey. Kitsu-chu-X You quoted me perfectly, I am glad you liked my starting post XD haha, and seriously write as much or as little as you want, as long as you give me something to work with we should be ok! =D hehe. ┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ̶Alec ̶A̶lanatois ℙℙPemberren ┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ~♚~ Another violent turn had the ship's bowls quake, the noble locked in them sent tumbling to the wood floor, unable to regain previous composure as a yelp of mainly surprise left him. "For all that is good and h-Ah!" His complaint cut off at the echoing sound of cannon fire. It rang like a heady bell in the noble's ears, a sound he was very unfamiliar with. The ship's sides creaked in complaint to the heavy handling on its' helm, a rather desperate captain trying to find a better slight to the wind to help them take up some speed, and the moves were unsuccessful, not to mention the warning shot announcing the definite intentions of the encroaching ship. The crew had taken not to panic, but the next best thing. They knew of or had heard of the ship which was flanking them and no one was pleased about it, a man shouting about not having their sister out with them being a madman's job.. But the payment of goods and deliverance of the youngest Pemberren son was of utmost importance, they were running out of time and previous adverse weather conditions had stagnated their stay at Fort Casa Della. They'd needed to move, and only been lucky to hide their presence so far. The captain cursed loudly once more as he knew how close they'd been, another half days journey, maybe full and they would have been too close to the naval's territory for pirate to dare such an attack.
~♚~ The sturdily built captain was riled, and made sure to have hand pistol and bayonet on him. Most of the higher ranked crew members had their own rifles, the other hand pistols and knives, the rest on the canons, but not the long johns, theirs were beyond weak. "Steady yo'arm gents! Defend the Condor and His Majesty's name!" A roar echoed across the deck as the men tried to psych themselves up for what was about to be a disastrous attempt at defence, but what else could they do, they were out sailed, under armed and overpowered by the approaching fighters.
~♚~ Alec down below felt utterly useless, like a child sent to his room whilst his parents argued, not really able to comprehend the full danger he and the ship were in. But he was locked in the room.. Not like he could really change the situation.. If the captain turned port side, the main body of the ship would be under fire, and with a swing of the man's arm he had done just that. Up on deck they were hoping that thanks to the ship's grandeur it will stop the pirates from actually opening cannon fire on the ship.. The captain also didn't know where the quarter master had stashed the young noble as he had now faced him toward open aim. The man in charge had assumed that firing on where most of the bounty was, was something pirates wouldn't want to risk; a rather daring move. All Alec heard was a bellow of a voice before they opened cannon fire on the approaching ship, the ground shaking noise sending chills through the noble's core as his hands laced into dark inky hair, clamping over his ears in attempts to muffle the sound.

Captain Morgan watched with interest as the other ship fired upon them. They had had more than one water fight, and he knew the crew had been itching for a fight. They were one with their vessel, knew it inside and out as if it was an extension of their own bodies. The decks were well maintained, sanded and tarred regularly to ensure she stayed waterproof and able to sail where ever the wind might blow them. Part of him couldn't believe the audacity the Condor was firing upon them.... either they had been given the order not to surrender, or there was something beyond your normal riches stored upon the ship. He was beyond eager to find out. For he would have take this ship for all it was worth. "Fire a rally!" He barked, and upon command the readily prepared guns all shot off. Cannons erupting in a BOOM as the projected their iron balls crashing into the Condor's finery. Morgan had no qualms about sinking the thing, but before he did that he had to know what secrets she carried. Excitement coursed through his blood stream, making him feel beyond alive. Adrenaline was his best friend. "Grapples." He barked, and several of the deck hands set to work firing the grapples into the mask and sails of the other ship. The ropes were pulled steady and tied down. "Boarding planks!" Was his next command swiftly followed by, "Rally!" Everything happened so quickly. The guns rang free, the splintering of wood as they hit their mark. Creaking of wood, the twang of rope, the scurrying of his men and their voices, the clatter of wood on wood. He spun the wheel, bringing his ship even closer to their target. "Let's board her boys!" He said with glee, releasing his helm over to one of his trusted crew members as he took out his own gun, his palm gentle rubbed the handle of his blade but it let it be... for now at least. Again everything moved so fast, and despite his fierce reputation he actually hoped this would go down without too much bloodshed -what a waste- he would rather send them back with their tails between their legs and let his reputation grow even more. After all, dead men told no tales. There was a battle cry and a roar as his men started to board, blades and swords ready to strike if they needed. To start with they would take the other crew hostage, hold them with the thread they would end their lives.... tie them to their mask.... plunder their booty... tear up their sails so they have to stop to change them -well after they manage to free themselves of course- by which time the Night Rambler would be long gone. It sounded so simple like that, but he bore more than his fair share of scars to prove that it was anything but. His elegant coat hung loose revealing the most deadly of his war wounds. A jagged scar that ran from his hip to his shoulder... he he had been lucky to survive it. With practised grace and efficiency he too boarded the Condor, gun stead and his blue eyes as merciless as the ocean they sailed upon. "Good afternoon gentlemen. Surrender... and I'll let you live." He taunted. By now he was sure his men were in position all around him, some in plain view (and probably with hostages) and others more secretive, he was sure that his life was safe he had some very eager men willing to take out anyone who dared harm their captain, plus he was a fine shot himself. "Now, what will it be boys?" Morgan's eyes never left their captain, a strategic taunt, especially since his gun remained steady. Kitsu-chu-X Sorry if I went a tad fast on the water scene.... I don't think I would be very good at a drawn out water battle smile

┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ̶Alec ̶A̶lanatois ℙℙPemberren ┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ~♚~ "For King! For country! Fo-" The captain's shouts hollared to his crew over the deafening sound of cannon fire, guns and the dull roar of a fight, wood flying and the ship creaking as the pirates did indeed take their fight as a challenge. Wood shattering about the deck as soon the invaders had boarded, steel clashing with steel, bullets flying everywhere. It wasn't until the general consensus was to stop and back away that surrender was clear. At the invading captain's words, Condor's own spat at the ground, fingers itching to pull his rifle on the Lord of the Pirates, a face he'd seen on wanted posters and that haunted his men's minds far too frequently. "Scum, water rats.. Fine, surrender it is.." He wiped the blood and sweat from his brow, which had mingled horridly as it pathed its way down his face from a cut near his hair line, the greased flaxen locks scraped back. The quartermaster made a desperate look round to try and see if he could sneak a certain noble off the ship without being noticed, but it would be hard.
~♚~ As the battle raged above, wood splints and hefty frames shattered, breaking the main grid that led light into the stocks of the boat. Alec jumped back to avoid falling timbre and dust, knowing something needed to be done. It was common knowledge that the Pemberren family had a well known name for their trade, lands owned, stocks, servants, homes that flitted across several main isles and riches in general, they were the shadows that held up the majesty along with a select few other noble families, all whom were replaced into power throughout the royal family to secure it's blood line, back ups if you will. Yes Alec had been taught of his lineage and knew that in such a situation, being diplomatic wouldn't get him very far. He shifted out of his beloved jacket cape, that was embroidered with gold and sealed shut usually with the sea-gem of aquamarine, the same as his signet ring, which he also slipped off and tucked into his trouser pocket. Setting the caplet down on the edge of a barrel near the back of the stores, wading through water that collected at one side of the ship, her walls creaking with discomfort as she ever so slowly took on water. He pulled the neat cravat from his neck and his cuff-links along with it that signified his heritage. Running a shaky hand through locks to mess them up too he gave a nervous look about the room his outfit now consisting of the dark mahogany brown chaps that were slick to slim thighs, his boots and a baggy white linen shirt that he couldn't bring himself to un-tucking despite his attempt at disguise.. One which if you knew the finer ways of a tailor, he was clearly not that well disguised, but had to make do.. He heard voices form behind the door, and slipped into the shadows from behind it, beside the heavy iron hinges. Once opened, a few men spilled in barely stifling their shock and pleasure at the loot they'd unearthed. Alec took his chance and slipped from the room, running out onto the deck.. BIG MISTAKE.
~♚~ He was only herded with several others into a congregation people on the deck, where his captain's solemn face and twice as many crew members... No.. not crew members.. Half were grinning and surrounding the others where he stood, below the fragments of the shattered main mast, its sail hung not so gloriously over the side of the deck half draped in the now murky waters surrounding their ship. Frightened eyes looked round as the others were mucky and covered in either theirs or another's blood. His cleanliness landed him a little out of place but he tucked behind a firstmate to try and stay out of sight, get passed off as a small stock boy or sweeper. A slight other give away was the precious gemstone earring that glinted in the sun that was breaking through the clouds as the midday cleared, a perfectly sculpted green Tourmaline. He had yet to cross eyes with the ring leader of the raucous bunch that had seemingly destroyed the top and lower levels of the Condor. The man was standing admits his men who were cheering, fists in the air at their own defeated crew, who looked sullen and nothing but.

Morgan couldn't hide the satisfied grin that spread across his face as the Captain spat on the ground and cursed him and his... whatever, he was used to such comments, still he couldn't help but laugh. "Water rats? Why sir, I do believe you have underestimated us... you are the water rats, we are more like.... fish?" He tilted his head to the side as if to taunt him even more. His first mate approached to his side, a victorious grin upon his face and one that had Morgan patting the guy on the back. "Good job. Let's gather the cargo as quickly as we can. Shred the sails. Get the men tied up." His first mate did just that, springing into action so fast that it might have made a lesser man's head spin. Orders were barked and once again his crew were moving with practised efficiency. The smell of gun powder and broken timbre filled the air, and twenty minutes later they had most of the Condor's crew lined up, guns trained upon them with deadly intent clearly written on their faces. They would shoot, and shoot to kill. Morgan was eyeing the motley group up, his eyes falling over them, assessing anything of worth when one of his crew members came up to him and handed him a jacket... "Sir, we found this... look..." The emblem. Pemberren. Again his eyes searched the group, but this time looking for a very different thing. "Find him." He barked, even as his eyes landed upon what appeared to be just a boy hidden among the group.... ah... a green studded earring in his ear. Wasting no time he approached, ignoring the protests of the Condor's crew members as he grabbed the lad by the shirt and pulled him towards him. His eyes searching and probing. He looked the guy up and down, no blood, no dirt. His fingers brushed the fabric within his hold, it was top quality -and he would know, he had stolen enough of it. "My, my... what do we have here?" He flashed a smile. It seemed they were right, there was indeed something very valuable upon this ship, more so than the cargo they had already stolen. "Put him in my cabin...." He barked, looking to one of his crew members who instantly moved into action and took the lads arm. "Take his clothes with him... I think our young lord might just miss them otherwise." He sneered, he would deal with the boy later, knowing full well that once inside his cabin there was no way out but the door, and the pirate wouldn't leave it open or leave it unguarded. Tucking his gun away he watched with cautious eyes, he couldn't allow his mind to drift, not yet, right now he needed to focus and finish the job. Gradually they backed off and returned to their own ship, disengaging the planks and the grapples. There was no way for the Condor to follow, and once they were far enough away they would see to their own damages.

┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ̶Alec ̶A̶lanatois ℙℙPemberren ┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ~♚~Condor's captain couldn't help but curse louder at the thieves' given orders, he felt bad for the beautiful ship, she was naive to such a pillaging, and he wished he could have kept her from being dirtied. But alas she had fallen to the hands of this man and hit crew of renegade sailors. Hating the truth in the other's statement, as it was certainly true, the pirates knew water like fish, to him it was a waste of good sailing potential to have them all as outlaws and crooks! The crew that were left were starting to be either individually or group bound around the ship, to her sides, whilst the invaders were set to work, leaving a certain little noble a little more exposed. He had still managed to stay quiet though, despite his whole body trembling.
~♚~ Alec visibly paled when the men had started bringing up the loot, and one emerged with the finery that was his coat. A beautiful garment he'd known he couldn't keep on him, but as soon as it was in the captain's hands, narrowed eyes once more surveyed over the remaining crew. Alec froze.. He was looking for him.. The young man didn't care to know why, he was merely trying to make his brain work as stormy blue eyes eventually locked with his own wine coloured orbs, his breath hitching, caught in his throat at the action as the man who exuded confidence, something he yearned for. As he was approached a few crew twigged what was happening voicing their protests, including the captain, whom up until now had been merely cursing to himself, but now he lunged for Morgan, hand mid way to withdrawing his sheathed sword, only to be pulled back by surrounding pirates, his fights held off as he struggled in the mens' arms, shouting all odds. The actions had caught Alec's attention long enough to break him from his trance as he turned back to the man now in front of him, his flinch backwards a little too late as he was pulled close by a hand fisted in his shirt, eyes wide as he merely stared silently back at the other. This was it, they were going to kill him.. He hadn't even made it to the palace and he was going to be killed a-... His train of panicky thought slowed at the smile he was given.. There was an unpleasantness about it to Alec, it wasn't a smile, not really. More like when a wolf bears its teeth, the idea merely installing the initial theory of him dying right here.
~♚~ The young Pemberren merely stared wide eyed in slight resemblance of a frightened forest critter, back at the man who seemed to be judging him with a smooth calculating stare before he spoke. Plucked from the captain's hand, his arms were restrained and bound behind his back with thick twines of seasalt encrusted rope, that bit into pale flesh, skin that had not seen the sun like the sailors around him had, as he was hauled away, struggling in silence and also vain, seeming to have lost the courage to voice his opinions. Opinons that did not agree with being taken from the ship. ̶"U-un-hand me! I know h-how to walk!" He managed to joke out, sounding nothing but panicky, which the crew found amusing clearly. Dragged over a boarding plank, where his stumbles suggested otherwise about his walking ability, he gave one last look at the mess that was once the prestigious Condor, before he was pushed roughly forward into the main part of the pirate ship and eventually shunted into the captain's quarters. Once there he was locked in for now, save them wasting someone to guard it, and Alec looked round, arms tightly bound behind his back, the jacket rather comically draped over his shoulders, not helping the slightness of his stature at all. He was at the state of pure panic, surely they would be killing him now! He looked about the room, hearing the angry shouts of the Condor's crew as the looting continued. There was desk, and a standard hanger bunker, shelves on the wall with little other than map scrolls stacked on them. He gave a few tries of ramming into the door, doing nothing other than causing himself a great deal of ache, a slight groan leaving his lips. The charcoal haired male looked round, chewing lightly on the inside of cheek, surely.. Surely there was some way of escape. He spent the next five minutes, bumping into things, sending scrolls across the floor, clattering there with what was obviously the left overs of the man's last meal. The mess he'd made, had left him no where to hide, and no means of escape or defence either.

It wasn't until he was back on his ship and they had set off that Morgan started to visibly relax, his eyes scanned the crew, everyone was doing their part and several repairs were already underway to keep the ship afloat until they could fix her up completely. She had seen far worst than her conflict with the Condor, and Morgan was proud to say they had come off much better off than he had originally anticipated. "Why did you take the lad?" He looked from the helm to his first mate and shrugged, "Insurance." It wasn't completely true, he wasn't fully sure why he had brought the welp... but there had been something behind those oddly coloured eyes that had spoken to him. He rubbed his chin and looked over to where his cabin stood. Maybe he should go an give his little guest a visit. "Take the helm. Get us home matey." With that he moved off, not wasting time to argue against the protests of his first mate as he made his way with determination to his cabin. Nodding to the 'guard' who was posted he took the key and opened the door, dismissing his crew member back to his duty before entering... and the moment he did he frowned. It was a mess. His papers scattered, his maps on the floor, even his plate and scraps were everywhere. Lethal intent turned fully upon his little captive.... and only when he saw the guy cowering that did he pause. This guy was scared.... beyond scared, and that did strange things to the Pirate Lord. "Get a hold of yourself man." He gruffed, even as he approached and took out his dagger. "Come here. I'll cut the ropes...." He quirked a brow, "Unless you would rather remain bound. Makes no difference to me."Kitsu-chu-X Short reply is short... sorry, getting tired.

┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ̶Alec ̶A̶lanatois ℙℙPemberren ┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ~♚~ Alec tried to think rationally as he leant against the desk, eyes searching the room for anything, assuming his fate at the end of a knife was approaching him any moment. He hated feeling terrified, but he'd never been in conflict like this, the sheltered life he'd lived clearly unhelpful as of now. 'Calm down.. calm down.. They can't kill me.. Well they can but why would they.. But why would they take me on board unless they were taking me somewhere to be killed then..' His thoughts all rambled into one rather uselessly, as he tried to think of what to do; unaware of the door that clicked shut softly behind him. He hadn't meant to mess the room, but instincts had him react like a cornered rabbit lashing out and scrabbling about. At the sound of the man's voice, he turned sharply, wide amethyst eyes blinked back at the man as he shifted back instantly, seeing the drawn dagger.
~♚~ The captain's words though had Alec cautious, but hopeful. He gave the man a scrutinizing look, trying to weigh up the potential outcomes clearly, before doing as he said, just this once, and turning round so the other could free his arms. The man was tall, sturdy and clearly physically fit, shirt open and toned body on display, it made thee young noble feel like a woman in comparison, something that did nothing for his ego.. Alec felt so foolish, the pirates so sure of themselves, and here he was a snivelling noble, unable to stop his body from trembling.. He had to do something, his stubborn side kicking in here as he cleared his throat with a soft toned cough before speaking, head a little lowered as he concentrated on the floorboards, to try and get his point across without too much stammering; soft coal coloured locks hiding his face as he did. ̶"B-being nervous..I..Is natural sir, w-when one is comp... compromised, so I-I'll have you not find amusement in m-my actions if you please.." He'd seen the quirked brow before he'd turned, and didn't like being the source of amusement, but knew he was. Alec couldn't hold back the haughty tone of voice though, however soft it might have been, his light tenor pitch held an indignant attitude, where he was trying to keep his pride. His way of wording things, eloquently so as if making a point, yes he was scared stiff, but he would try and be forward, demanding, just failing at it miserably.

Morgan almost grinned at the obvious courage the little noble was showing, almost impressive, especially since his voice betrayed his obvious discomfort... but that didn't seem to be holding him back. He had made more than his fair share of noble's cry and cower, so it was a surprising change, especially since the little noble was probably one of the youngest he had ever taunted. Taking the lads hands in his own, he lazily drew circles with his thumb as he slowly slipped the blade between the knots... he didn't cut them though, not yet. Instead he leaned forward so that he mouth was upon his ear, his warm breath a gentle caress before he spoke. "Do I make you nervous little Lord?" He smiled despite himself and slowly started to cut the rope. "Just think... I could do anything I wanted to you here.... " He purposefully allowed his eyes to wander to the bed. "...and no one would even bat an eyelid." Morgan wasn't sure why he was taunting the guy, he wasn't usually so cruel, but part of him wanted to see what would make the guy whimper or crack, how far could he push? Leaning back to give the guy a little room he finished cutting the rope with one last movement before putting his blade away. "Sit on the bed." He commanded, his eyes shining with the will that he would not be ignored or denied. While he actually had no intention of touching the guy, not like this at least, he wasn't going to let him know that -better to have him uncomfortable and annoyed so as to remind Morgan of why he hated all nobles than allow the temptation of those eyes to get to him. He ruffled the lads hair and headed towards his desk, picking up several of the maps and papers and putting them back into place. "What you do? Summon a bloody whirlwind to help you?" He grumbled.

┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ̶Alec ̶A̶lanatois ℙℙPemberren ┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ~♚~ He felt his bound hands and wrists gripped in the other man's and waited, expectantly so as the other was mean't to be cutting him free. A soft frown befell his features when the calloused pad of a thumb ran over his skin before the ropes, not really sure of its purpose, maybe he was checking to see for something. He knew his skin was lacking in any sense of manual labor, maybe the pirate captain found it funny. Alec's hands were soft as expected of a noble whose greatest hardship for his fingers was holding the handle of a fencing sword or signing papers. As the cold metal of the blade slipped deftly between the rope Alec was made only increasingly nervous by the hesitation.. Was he just going to cut his hands off, he wouldn't do that right? Right?! His head came up to the just the man's shoulder, so when breath fanned across his neck, the hot air having him shiver involuntarily, he knew that the pirate was looming over him; Alec could have sworn if his heart beat any louder the other could have heard it too.
~♚~ As the other's low commanding voice hit the shell of a delicate ear, in an instant reaction Alec's head turned with a whip to the other side, to try and get a little distance between that voice resonating form the nape of his neck. There was a strange sensual feel about he way the man spoke that made little sense to the noble born male. Assuming the worst when he said he 'could do anything', Alec braved to look back over his shoulder a little as he had started to cut him free. The soft frown still there, and a hint of defiance in his deep amethyst eyes. He didn't like the sound of that threat. ̶"I-if... if you're going to kill me, j-just do it, I don't like being made to wait.." But when the captain's eyes took a sidewards look at the bed, his own followed out of clearly irritated frustration before they widened, and a look of shock engulfed his face, and unfortunately he couldn't hold his tongue on this one, despite being brought up well mannered. ̶"Don't be absurd! I-I'm a male! I'm not a girl, have you been from one so long that you can't distinguish them anymore? " His cheeks tinged a faintest shade of dusky pink with embarrassment, he genuinely thought that the pirate thought him a lady despite his use of the pet name 'little lord', one which he didn't like either.. He wasn't making a point for the other, but in his naivety, he'd been kept from knowing a lot about the world. A sheltered upbringing like his own clearly had neglected to tell him about the physical possible intimacies between the same sex... Too naive to be travelling.
~♚~ Alec's hands now free, he turned instantly, bumping into the desk with a slight stumble, clearly showing his skittish nature when he realized how close the taller older man had been. At the other's sudden command, Alec looked up warily, orchid meeting stormblue eyes that held no room for argument. There was a slight pause, as he was clearly not wanting to follow orders, but eventually submitted, eyes dropping to the floor before he moved and sat rather rigidly on the end of the bed, slipping his arms back into the jacket he was glad they hadn't just burnt. The ruffle of his hair had a surprised little yelp like sound leave his throat, one which he really wished he hadn't made as it wasn't exactly an intimidating sound, slender hands immediately attempting to return the dislodged silken black locks, not appreciative of the gruff touch as he gave the other a wine coloured scowl. ̶...." He mumbled something deliberately quietly under his breath about them being a mess anyway, but didn't want that to be heard.

Due to the fact his thumb had been upon the young lords wrist he had been more than aware of the fact that his heart rate had increased tenfold, a skittish flutter below immaculate porcelain flesh. For all the guys protests he may as well have been a female, Morgan would bet his ship that the guy had never done a solid days graft in all his life. His frown increased, how was it that the riches people did the least while those that earn them their wages often went hungry. A slight snarl appeared on his features. He disliked nobles. Fickle creatures. The protests about being male only brought dry amusement to Morgan's eyes, oh he would like to show this fool just how wrong he was... but maybe he could just taunt him a little more and make that white flesh pink once more. "Oh I can tell the difference lad, and you better remember it.... you never heard the tales of how pirates are at sea too long that they'll f*ck each other in order to keep their appetite wet?" He paused in his cleaning to look straight at the lad. His use of words had been deliberate, fancy patter and beating around the bush were all things that he hated... plus, he was pretty sure no one had ever dared speak to the young lord like this before. He quirked a brow, the amusement back in his eyes. "You've got a hole down there don't ya? Well... it will do." What was possessing him right now was lost to all reason, as his blue eyes hit those of orchid. Very few things made him shy away, and this topic was certainly not one of them, not that he could say the same for the lad. "So," He stood up straight and crossed his arm, "I know you're a Pemberren.... but what's your name?" He let out an exasperate breath, "And lad.... don't bloody mumble, if you're going to stand up for yourself at least do me the f*cking courtesy as to let me hear your fecking complaints." Not that he would do anything differently, he was just amused at what the lad was saying when he managed to stammer out his words. He scowled a little, most of his amusement washed away. Outside of the cabin he was aware of the patter of feet on deck, the gentle sway of the Ocean and the sounds of everything going according to his orders.... still, he didn't take his eyes of his 'guest'. Kitsu-chu-X I did notice the other picture actually smile EDIT: Sorry for all the quotes, for some reason gaia is messing up the coding and I have no idea why. *le sigh*

┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ̶Alec ̶A̶lanatois ℙℙPemberren ┹⇺⇺⇺⇺⇺┺ ~♚~ Looking up as the other tidied, sure he would have felt bad if he hadn't been so scared at the time when the 'bomb' that was his panicking had gone off. And the pirate captain was indeed rewarded with pink at his words Alec's eyes round once more a critter in headlights, whilst he coughed slightly at the sudden level of vulgarity of what was said, reddened tinge fanning out his high cheeks bones as far back to cover the shells of his ears, one of which wasn't hiding behind inky locks. He didn't want to give Morgan the reaction he wanted, but was unable to fight back the flustered features that swamped him as he stared wide eyed in horror at such a suggestion. Men.. with... with other.. How- that was cleared up with the mentioning of an orifice. He'd never heard such crude comments, why on earth, that wouldn't fit it would just... His mind swamped with confusion over what to think. The captain seemed to find amusement in what Alec's reaction which only had him irritated.
~♚~ He flinched at the mention of his surname.. He knew his title right now was not helping the man's growing anger, but at the other's exaggerated breath he looked up only to meet an angry glare. The sudden bit out tone had him jump to his feet, shifting immediately until he'd met the wall behind him, seemingly content with what was under a meter gained from shifting suddenly, but the man was a scary figure when angered. He bit lightly on the inside of his cheek at the scolding like way he was spoken down to. Alec hated that tone, and feeling confident with the small distance gained he decided to act on the other's suggestion. ̶"F-fine! You.. You're ill mannered tendencies are appalling! W-why am I here?! Y-you really intervened in an international business and dragged me on here, not giving me any reasons for it! I wasn't in charge of that ship! You had all the stocks, why must I be here, with someone whose cursing a-and such! If you know my title, then watch your toungue!" Having finished the rant, the little lord, as it were, leaned back against the heavy wooden framed wall, unsure of what to expect now, but he'd said what he'd wanted to. He didn't understand why he was here. And sure asking a pirate to be polite was just comical, but he didn't know what else to say. He didn't get the opportunity at home to be so free with his words, it was why Alec had held back in the first place. As the third son, he was to keep his mouth shut, marry whom was suggested, and live his life under his father's rule and hand. Quiet and demur had been beaten into him, in more than one way. But having a chance to speak up for himself, had he not been so frightened, he would have been pleased with the little mini break through.

Captain Morgan almost laughed, almost. It took a sliver of his self-control to keep the sound inside. So, the little Lord did have a backbone, even if it was a shaky one. Interesting. He approached, no hesitation in his step and moved close to the guy. A hand placed either side of his body as he brought his head down to look straight at the guy. "You need a reason?" Laughter sparkled in his eyes, showing his obvious amusement that this Lord thought that a Pirate somehow owed him something. Morgan owed him nothing, nor would he give it without being earned, something that would be hard to achieve for one of his station. "I won't ask nicely again... Name." The anger was pretty much gone now, but still he gave off an air that he wouldn't be messed with. In his own right Captain Morgan was used to get his own way just as much as the Lord was, just in a very different capacity. There was a knock at the door. He didn't move his position even as he barked. "What is it?" Without hesitation a voice came through the door, "Progress report Cap'ain, all set, two days good weather." "Good. Get back to work." He huffed back, still his eyes didn't leave his guest. "Yes Cap'ain." All tha announced his crewman's departure was the sound of heavy boots on wood as he walked away. "Now, where was I.... my little Lord."
