My husband and I are going to be Finn and Princess Bubblegum from Adventure time. I have Finn's hat done, and am trying to make headway on PB's dress today, but I was too cheap to buy a pattern, so I'm piecing things together from the ones I have to make what I want it to look like. It might be a challenge, since I'm working with that cheap-ish costum-y satin fabric, so it slips like hell. stressed
What is everyone else being? Waiting until the last minute, or are you on the ball and already done?

I'm not making a costume, but more accessorizing some clothing I already own. My boyfriend and I will be attending a "Haunted Chessboard" themed Lolita event this coming saturday, so I'm just "chess-ing" up a white dress I own. I've made my crown and I'm almost done with my ax [because you know the queen piece is best piece]. I still need to make a crown for my bf along with a neckruffle/cravat/jabot/whatever so he can be a bit more frilly and dressed up for the event.

Haha, I am going (nowhere) as Fiona from the gender-bending episode. I made the skirt out of some sweatpants, and now I just need shoes, socks and to make the hat.
