Only what my father calls me to annoy me, or the embarrassing names my mother has called me since birth, unfortunately... ｉｔ ｓｈｏｕｌｄ ｂｅ ｏｂｖｉｏｕｓ ↘↘ Yes, I am male. I am not only a merman, I can take on a human form, too. ｉｔ ｄｏｅｓ ｈｅｌｐ ｗｉｔｈ ｔｈｅ ｍｏｒｔａｌｓ ↘↘ Under the sea, I take on the form of a merman with a vest from the scales of the finest, most colorful fish to cover my chest. I carry a conch shell on a sash that goes over my right shoulder, the conch that allows me to halt the waves. It was a gift from my father long ago.
However, I am quite different on land. I have a fully human body (for a tail won't help me much otherwise), and I mostly wear suits and formal outfits. I love button-up oxford shirts in softer colors akin to the sea - blues and greens, mostly - with black pinstripe slacks and black dress shoes. Ties, jackets, and hats are interchangeable, and there are times where I just wear a vest instead of a jacket. It all depends on the temperature. ｂｏｗ ｄｏｗｎ↘↘ I am the Herald of Poseidon, the King of the Mermen, and the King of the Tritonus Lake.

Polyphemus and other cyclopes are also quite well-known siblings of mine. Polyphemus is just the one that everyone recognizes most for the fact that he was the cyclopes involved in Odysseus' journey. ｈａｖｉｎｇ ｍｙ ｅｙｅｓ ↘↘ In truth, my children (the Nereid) make up the population of the mermen. I have very few demigod children (unlike my father), as I don't enjoy traveling on land if I can avoid it. I have a few demigods currently in camp, though. My other children that you may know by name are Pallas who was reared with me alongside Athene, Kalliste, and Triteia. ｈｅａｒｔ ｈｅａｒｔ ↘↘ I am entirely single, despite my charms. I haven't found anyone yet that I truly want to spend my life with. ｂｒｅａｋｉｎｇ ａｒｍｓ↘↘ If there is anyone that just completely throws me for a loop, I would have to say that it's Aphrodite. I mean, seriously! Okay, cheating on your significant other with mortals once in a while is fine when it comes to us, but to cheat on your significant other with a god and flaunt it around? I like Hephaestus, personally. I come in to get my armor and weapons repaired all the time, and he doesn't complain or charge or anything! He's a nice guy, and he's almost the type that I would share a beer with. In any case, Aphrodite just really pisses me off because there's no way that Hephaestus deserves what he got.

xxxxxxxxxxxxLIVEforeverWITHme ｗａｎｔ ｔｈｅｍ ↘↘ Sea shells, brightly colored fish, the sea, salt water, swimming, imitating voices, Poseidon's castle, my manor, my mother and father, spending time with Hades' legitimate daughter, checking on the mermen, and dolphins. ｇｏ ｄｉｅ ↘↘ Aphrodite, seeing people miserable, the land, women with low self-esteem, cats, cyclopes, peanut butter, sushi, seafood, and meat in general. ｈａｖｉｎｇ ｐｅｒｋｓ ↘↘ Usually, I am a calm man with a good humor. I can adapt like the sea and water adapt to a container and shape. However, I do not like being controlled. I make exceptions for my mother and father, for they deserve that respect from me, but should anyone else demand anything of my, I blow them off, usually. Another thing to discuss is my temper. It rages and builds like a hurricane in the sea. It is a fearsome sight to see, and few have seen it. I do not have any way of calming until whatever has upset me has been duly dealt with, or until my father interferes. He has had to separate me from gods and sea creatures alike in the past, for my temper is a gruesome thing that none would ever wish to witness. The legitimate child of Hades has also seen my temper, though that wasn't its full extent. She managed to snap me out of it before it could build. ｇｏｉｎｇ ｂａｃｋ ↘↘ I was born of Amphitrite and Poseidon, the only heir to the Sea. I have grown underwater, learning how to fight, and acting as the messenger of the sea. I am the fastest swimmer (my father included, for he needs the water's assistance to move as quickly as I do) under the sea, and have long been my father's Herald, spreading his word and commands as the Prince of the Sea. I created my own lake in Libya, where I am considered the god. It was named after me (Lake Tritonus), and when the Argonauts were stranded in the desert, I guided them to my lake and bestowed my blessing upon them so they could find their way back to the sea and continue on their quest for the Golden Fleece. I haven't been notorious for helping mankind, for that is more my father's domain. I only spread his word and help the few sailors that travel into my domain.
