 Like floating in darkness, Reiss felt himself still, unable to move and sleeping. How long has it been since he has been in this endless dream? He never got an answer nor did he ever know how he ended up here. A vague nightmare of what seemed like an end and then nothing, as if that was a dream within a dream. THen out of nowhere, a bright opening formed like a doorway. His hands reached for it and pushed forward, feeling like an endless swim until his hands rested on the knob and he turned it. A bright fresh breeze blew into him as Reiss floated through an ancient tree. The tree had a magical glow and literally spat him out onto the ground before losing its magical glow and Reiss stood up. He was in a forest, somewhere he can't even recognize. Where was the city he was in? He remembered that much.....but somewhere along that line something happened, something extraordinary, but what? He can't remember well, but it felt traumatizing. He will have to figure that out later. Right now, he would find out where he is. As he stepped into the forest and started walking whhat seemed to be a path, some snarls were heard as some strange coyote creatures started coming out, obviously hungry. What a way to enter a strange land and now he is going to be food to a bunch of monsters. "Help," he called out, feeling it was futile to say it out in the middle of nowhere.

 "Stay down and cover your mouth!" Kana yelled first in english then in her peoples own toung from the tree above Reiss as she threw out something that made a cloud of smoke and then jumped down into the. Suddenly a couple yelps where heard followed by alot of clawing on the ground. "I thought so stick to deer next time!" Kana said in a language that could only be understood by her own people or those they tought. As the smoke cleared and the wolves could be seen running with there tale between there legs. She then turned to face Reiss as three others came out and surrounded him. She then spoke in her peoples toung again. After Finshing she stood as if she was waiting for a answer. but ready for aa fight should he attack.

Reiss watched everything and how she and three others defeated the creatures and sent them packing. Now it was just the two of them. "umm, thank you for saving me," he said then raised his hands a bit to his chest level as she looked like she was gonna hunt him next. "Please don't hurt me. I'm Reiss. I don't know where I am," he said as he didn't want to get hurt. First saved, now a target? It feels like he isn't going to get any more lucky than now.

One of the tyhree raised a gun to Reiss and spoke in there toung. Kana then raised her voice and spoke in there toung as well to the man who instead of shooting Reiss knocked him out from behind. By the time he awoke they where in what seemed like a cell and it was only him and Kana. As she started doing a back flip in the air she noticed him stiring a bit.

Reiss groaned as he rubbed his head. What a introduction. "Where am I? Whats happening?" he said and saw Kana in front of him doing a pretty good backflip. If time slowed down, he would see her beautiful form doing the twirl, her silver hair fluttering through the air and catching up to her and he couldn't help but stare and blush. "Wait, who are you?" he said to her as he soon regained himself

"Sorry for the treatment but we had to be sure you are not a member of the aeons." Kana said as she landed and turned to face him. Before i amswer your questions i need you to answer mine. I can see your not a member of Aeon but, What where you doing in the forest and why is it you do not speak animite? We made it so no one who does not speak it can even enter our forest unless there Kino." Kana said as she walked up to him and looked at him oddly like she was checking him. ((Sorry about the made up words but i figured it was better then puuting that she said a word in her kinds tounge all the time.))

Reiss felt confused. "What? an Aeon? What is animite?" he said. He felt very confused by what was happening and he looked into her eyes. "I don't understand. Wheres Zanarkand? There wasn't a forest here last time I was here," he said to her as he got up and paced around his cell pretty erratically. There were so many confusing words and terms, not to mention a language he had no understanding of back in the forest. And the forest, his memory last placed him in a city and now he is in a forest full of monsters. "Whats going on here? Where am I? Please tell me. I don't know how I got here. I swear it," he said as he rushed forward and grasped the cell bars, looking frightened at what is happening to him

"Calm down and i will answer your questions." Kana said waveing at two gaurds to show everything was fine. Though a look of schock crossed her face as she heard him say he was in Zanarkand. She stood still watching him and waiting for him to calm down. ((Sorry for the quick and poor post my next will be better i had to deal with some aftermath from what i told you about in the pm.))

Reiss slowly calmed down and sat down on the floor."Ok...I'm calm," he said and took some breathes. He looked up at the cell ceiling and gathered his thoughts. "Where am I now? Where is Zanarkand? Where is my father? He was with me," he said to her as he wanted answers to his questions. Somehow his head held on to the thought that he was with his father before everything went blank, but somehow only he is here and not him. Where was his old man? [just in case. He is technically correct but his confused state is making him think his father was human and next to him instead of the monster]oh and you dont need to keep quoting me]

((More less right i could never get that aspect eathere. though in ff xii i think it explains it better i still have yet to get far enough to make sense of that one. also sorry force of habbit.)) "First things first my name is Kana and you are being held untill we are sure your not a kino. Now as for what Animite is it is our language and where you are is a holding cell below our forest home." Kana said as she steped back. "are you sure your ok everyone here knows who the aeons are and what Kinos are. You must be mistakeing that place was destoryed by a kino called sin almost a thousand years ago. It is nothing but ruins . you must have hit your head or something this is stuff anyone over the age of three knows about." Kana said before turning to face the gaurds After speaking to them in her own toung again they left.

Reiss looked with shock. "A Kino? Whats a Kino and an Aeon? and I'm just a regular person, not this Kino thing. Zanarkand can't be destroyed! I was just there yesterday," he said, still confused as ever. What has happened? He clutched his head and looked at her. "Please, I need to go home. I need to go back to Zanarkand," he said to her. He didn't know what was happening but to her he is showing no lie, that he is still convinced Zanarkand is still standing and that he came from there. Although he is sort of acting like a crazy person like someone who claims he talked to god and such.

"A kino is a spirit. A aeon is a Kino that summoners use to fight Sin and other kinos like sin.As for what sin is he is a kino that for some reason has been attacking everyone untill the first summoner found away in Zanarkand to send him away for awhile and sorry we can not take you there though I would like to go there someday only summoners or fools who have a deathwish go there. "For now forget about it you can stay here and hopefully what ever is effecting you corrects itself. We will not stop you from leaveing but the forest around us is dangerous." Kana said as the gaurds returned After a quick exchange of words in animite they opened the door. "You can leave if you want or you can stay here earn your place and meals probly some weapons and armor as well. A fair warning though you should be thankfull those wolves where all you met. If that had been a sin kino you would have been dead before we got too you." Kana said as she walked to the door. "Oh if you stay do not say speak of that place it is forbidden here." Kana added hopeing he would figure she ment zanarkand.

Reissl listenedto what Kana said as she explained things. So they thought he might be an evil spirit of a sort but maybe he can earn their trust slowly although leaving as he is is a death wish itself. "I'll stay then and I want to start working. I have nowhere else to go,"he said and followed her out. He walked out behind Kana and was bewildered at the sight. " its like the town is part of the forest" he said as he took in the sights. Then he looked at Kana, ready to learn , to get stronger. "So what needs to be done?" He said, wanting to earn his place in the village

"Yeah it is actualy we use what we find and mix it to blend in with the forest. This way we can live here with drawing any one that would like to see us dead" Kana said as she walked towards a storage building. "We are going on a salvage trip and one of our guys who normaly goes is injured." Kana said as a guy ran up to her and spoke in animite. "Dryhg oui yht pa nayto pnudran!" Kana said before the guy left. "We should get you some armor and weapons." Kana said before it dawned on her to ask if he could even fight. "Do you remember how to use a sword?" She asked as they stoped outside The storeage building inside all kinds of weapons could be as well as what looked to be some odd loking armor. ((And yes that is al bhed for real i found a place online that translates it to and from english))
