I Fight fail, javlen, and shield most days...But I'm a pretty good acher too..So...whats you best combo?

Yeah, well I have only been to one battle, but i think I am best with shield and blue. Either a flail or beatstick. I also try my best to duel wield beat sticks. And when I can, i will carry a jav into battle.

Flail and tower shield for me, though I'm getting better going florentine. ^_^

I don't usually fight -_-'
But to have a shiled, an axe and a friend with a spear works great ^_^
I'm usually just armed with a bow and/or a small knife if i'm armed at all. There isn't any pure boffer events in sweden...

Toge What all do you do at events then? lots of intriguing and role playing. At least my characters are one that usually not bear weapon. we get "goals" from the larp arranger in the beginning of the larp. These goals are very much fit to suit the character so they are mostly very fun to play on. If you want to boffer during the larp you usually get something like: "get the treasure from the trolls hideout" or "help the army defeat the threat of dark elves" Mine usually are more like "help your brother to become the mayor" or "you know that the elves leader have gone mad and evil, find a way to replase him whithout making the elves mad at your group, you need there support". Well... you usually get half a page of this personal goals ^_^ so I always have stuff to do without fighting.

heh, i love to fight, been in martial arts for six years and i just started dagorhir about a year or two years ago. me, well im pretty good with a buster blade, any big and heavy weapons really. but im even better with sword and sheild or duel sword. im ok with spears or javalins and im a decent archer.

That is awesome. I admire anyone who can handle a red weapon (big sword or glaive) well. I lack the upper body strength to do any amount of damage with them.

*shrugs* since they start waying more than 20 pounds i guess. i dunno. but i have to re do it anyways, the ductape is starting to solidfy also. so its becomeing rock hard at the tip. i also tried making a version of the masamunei, but it didnt have enough padding. so im gona re-do that one also
