I am Riolo Also known as Austin, Pichu, That one hyperactive guy, etc. And my username is not actually related to the Pokemon Riolu.
I have no strategies, just playing for fun, My playing style on Pokemon is like my playing style on games like Halo Reach. Go in and do as much damage as you can, while laughing maniacally.
My favorite Pokemon is a Pichu. And Lucario.
As a side-note, Amuleo is my brother.

If you have any questions feel free to ask! Thanks. Nice to meet you too. I agree. Pichu is awesome. It is also fun to see how people react when he is chosen for Super Smash Brothers Melee. Will be sure do to so. I think I'd like to ask one now though. Why is Lucario on the OU banlist?

Well lets see what smogon has to say on this matter "One of the most threatening sweepers in DPP OU, Lucario has returned to the BW OU battlefield with some new toys. BW increased ExtremeSpeed's priority to +2, which means Mach Punch Infernape, among other such Pokemon, can no longer check it. In addition, the Dream World gave Lucario an ability it can actually make good use of: Justified. With this ability, Lucario gains an Attack boost upon getting hit by any Dark-type attack, which it can easily switch into thanks to its 4x resistance to Dark. Lucario also has a rare 4x resistance to Stealth Rock, which makes it difficult to wear it down with entry hazards. Its Steel typing brings it an immunity to Toxic; it therefore doesn't have to worry about poison damage prematurely ending its sweeps. However, there are many Pokemon capable of beating Lucario, such as Terrakion and Conkeldurr. Lucario also has four moveslot syndrome, which prevents it from covering every single relevant threat. Despite its flaws, however, Lucario is a deadly sweeper that will destroy any team not prepared for it."

Strong Pokemon... Weak Pokemon... That is only the selfish perception of people... I'd say Gym Leader Jason just about summed that up, but you won't need to worry about the OU banlist. Much like most other Guilds, we abide by Smogon's Tiers. If you want the official Smogon Uber Tier [the "banned Pokemon" tier"], here's a link. Otherwise, you can check out the other Tiers as you please, though every Pokemon outside of Ubers is viable for usage. Truly skilled Trainers should try to win... With the Pokemon they love best.

Okay. So OU referred to everything else aside from the Pokemon?

"Level 1OO 1v1 with Smogon's Standard OU Clauses [with the exception of Item Clause]." OU does not refer to the Pokemon one can use, but instead it is the Uber list for them? I am still not quite used to Smogon yet.

Strong Pokemon... Weak Pokemon... That is only the selfish perception of people... Well, there are several forms of battling. OU, referring that teams, and Pokemon in them, are mainly based on Smogon's Overused Tier. There's also Underused, Neverused, Little Cup, and et cetera, but you'll pretty much only see OU battling here. The Uber Tier is valid no matter which form of battling you are doing. What's banned is banned. Truly skilled Trainers should try to win... With the Pokemon they love best.

So to be clear, I can still use a Pokemon on the OU list for the current/upcoming tournament?

Strong Pokemon... Weak Pokemon... That is only the selfish perception of people... It becomes second nature once you get the hang of it. I never actually really knew about anything about Smogon other than the Uber Tier until a few months after I started competitive battling.
But yes, all OU Pokemon are allowed in the upcoming Tournament. Truly skilled Trainers should try to win... With the Pokemon they love best.

Well to put it bluntly a sweeper is a pokemon that is swiched into and starts to "sweep" the other team or to KO the oppenets team very quickly.. There are different types of sweepers Physical, Special, and Mixed. Where Physical sweepers have high Attack and use physical moves to KO the opponents pokemon. While Special sweepers have high special attack and use special moves to KO the opponents pokemon. While Mixed is basically both just to a lesser extent.
