xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.кєηѕнιη нιяσѕнι ⇨ ~ Leadership isn't about speeches or being liked... It was a rather beautiful day in the Seireitei, as the winter season had come to an end and spring was taking over. The sky was bright, as the birds were flying around, and the young shinigami were running around, as it was a rather peaceful environment. As the weather was just perfect, a senkaimon soon opened up in the streets, as a man soon stepped out of it. A tall, well built man stepped out of the Senkaimon, as he looked around a bit. He was dressed in a rather strange manner. Instead of wearing the traditional shinigami outfit, this man had a tailored black suit with a white dress shirt on with a slim, black tie on. He has a white armband with the insignia of the royal guard printed on it. It was clear that this man was a member of the Royal Guard, but it was unclear what his rank was exactly. However, it was apparent that this man was extremely laid back, as he had a rather relaxed appearance and attitude. Not paying attention to those who were staring at this man because of the fact that he was in the Royal Guard, he started to walk around the Seireitei, as he wandered around a bit, looking for somewhere interesting to go get a bite to eat.
As he roamed around, he managed to stumble upon a restaurant, as he could smell the aroma of amazing food being prepared inside. Closing his eyes and smiling at the scent of such good food, he soon made his way inside. Being warmly welcomed by the staff of this fine establishment, he was soon taken over to the back of the dining area, where he was given a nice, exclusive area to eat to himself. Once he ordered his food along with some sake, he waited patiently for his food to arrive. A smile soon befell his face, as he soon saw his food arrive. A huge bento box full of sushi was placed in front of him, along with some sake and incense was placed nearby his table, as he simply smiled and began to slowly eat his food. It seemed to be a bit to much for just one man to eat by himself, but the man seemed to be waiting for someone to be coming along to see him. Although it was unclear who that person was, the man simply remained seated and enjoyed his food, and was welcome to anyone joining him and his meal. ...it's the end result that counts ~ ⇦ ┏xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┓ Mood: Calm Location: Streets of the Seireitei Thoughts: What a Pleasant Day.... Zaraki had been in the restaurant for quite a while. Whittling away time with hard drink and good food. This was one of the few Seireitei areas that served good sake, as well as other various alcoholic beverages. It was Zaraki's favorite joint, to say the least.
Kenny brought a small cup to his mouth, emptying the bittersweet liquid into his mouth. He swallowed well, before letting out a deep sigh. He looked over, and watched as a man was lead into the section he sat in. It was a private section, meant for people of high status and the like. Kenny thought for a moment, looking at the guy's face. It struck him a moment later as to the man's identity. " Oh hell no! " Kenny seethed to himself, before grabbing the clay-forged bottle filled with Sake, and his small cup. He walked his way over to the table the man had just sat at, and slammed his bottle down. Steam grew from the top, as the hot sake reacted with the cool air in the room. " Holy s**t! Kenshin Hiroshi! " Zaraki offered a huge smirk to his old battle-partner. A few battle's had been fought side by side with Kenshin, Kenkaku providing a near irreplaceable back up. Cuts, slashes, blood everywhere. All good fun with Kenkaku. As for Kenshin, Kenkaku really didn't give a ******** if he liked the heat of battle as much as he did.
Zaraki pulled an empty chair up to the small table, as Kenshin's food was brought up. Zaraki wrinkled his nose at the sushi. " Hell, mat', ya' can't be eatin' that sorta p***y s**t. " Kenny said, spitting out curses and the like as was his norm. Just like any other member of the division he lead, his mouth was as dirty as he was. " Ya' gotta eat some meat! " To make his point, Zarki called over one of the waiters. " Steak, bro. " He said simply, and soon after a nice, well done steak was brought to the table. " If yer gonna eat anything, it's gotta be as much of a beast as you is. " Kenny put himself to work as he started carving into his food.
With a mouth full of meat, he kept talking. " So what the ******** is a guy like you, " He said, alluding to the man's current rank, " doin' in a place like this? " Kenny asked, putting the question forwards. The normal appearance of a Division Zero member meant something was about to go down. Hell, every no and then they came out to enjoy some fun with old friends. Zero Division was much looser with it's restrictions now, letting it's members go on and about. It didn't make it any weirder though. Kenkaku was very worried about this though. Excited, almost. If it meant a fight, he wanted in. Missions with a guy like Kenshin were always fun. Fighting everywhere, innumerable amounts of enemies, and impossible odds. " Or are ya' just here to score? " Kenny added with a chuckle, before motioning an hourglass figure with his hands. Kenny ate a few more bites before pulling out a pack of cigarettes and lighting one up. The menthol-scented smoke filled the air as Kenkaku breathed out, smirk pasted on his face. He looked almost wild.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.кєηѕнιη нιяσѕнι ⇨ ~ Leadership isn't about speeches or being liked... Kenshin soon continued to eat his sushi, as he soon noticed the voice of an old comrade of his. The fabled captain of the eleventh division, Zaraki Kenkaku. "Kenkaku! You know me better than that. I enjoy eating sushi and you should know that by now. Besides, I'd rather eat something like steak for dinner, not for a casual lunch." Smiling, he then grabbed his clay-forged bottle and drank some of the sake out of it. Smirking, he then looked at his food and continued to eat some of his food, as he was glad being able to have some downtime to catch up with old friends and meet some more captains of the Gotei 13, being that Kenshin rarely received the opportunity to travel around outside of the Royal Palace, where the Soul King resided in. Sighing, he then looked back up at Kekaku and responded to his question. "My bosses decided to give some downtime to myself, so I'm pretty much here on a 'vacation' if you will. So I decided I should spend some time here in the Seireitei and hopefully get the chance to meet the remainder of the Gotei 13, being that I'm still unfamiliar with most of your comrades due to my duties with the Royal Guard."
Pausing, Kenshin then remained silent for a bit, as he thought to himself about the past missions and other jobs that he had to take part of, and started to get a bit depressive. However, Kenshin reached into his pocket and pulled out a pill, as he signaled the waitress to give him some water. She returned with a smile on his face, as he took the cup of water and swallowed the pill with the water that was given to him. He closed his eyes and then sighed once the pill went down his throat. Then opening his eyes, he smiled and continued to speak to his old friend. "Now then, enough about me. How have things been going on your end with the Gotei 13 and being the head of the fabled eleventh division?" Kenshin asked with curiosity, as he had the pleasure of getting himself acquainted with the men and women that were a part of the eleventh division and was rather familiar with them, so he felt it was appropriate to ask how they were doing. ...it's the end result that counts ~ ⇦ ┏xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┓ Mood: Calm Location: Streets of the Seireitei Thoughts: What a Pleasant Day.... _______________________________________________________________________ As the warm spring sun's rays fell upon the earth, a lovely woman appeared and basked in the light. Her honey golden curls of blonde hair bounced gracefully as she sauntered her way through the streets of the Seireitei. Onlookers stared at the woman who walked its sand covered, dirt paths as if it were a runaway. She was a peculiar sight to behold in the area: her blonde hair was odd enough, not to mention her glacial blue eyes covered by long, luxurious lashes which casted shadows upon her rosy cheeks; her figure was quite divine and struck the hearts of many men with its proportional curves, along with ample breasts at her chest; her chosen garb was a light blue, pleated dress which mirrored her sapphire eyes underneath her Captain's robe. A woman at the pinnacle of her womanhood and succumbed to death, preserved in her current state forever. Lucky as she was, she took no heed to humility, and flaunted her good graces to those she encountered.
While the woman's physical attributes attracted people to her, like a moth to a flame, her personality did quite the opposite. She was nasty, vicious, and quite arrogant. Amaterasu Maeda, the current Squad Captain of Squad Twelve, was the crazy mad scientist b***h that most men fantasized about being dominated by. The captain was a sex figure, and this was no secret; however, Amaterasu was already claimed. Too bad, no?
Amaterasu walked into the restaurant where she would find the man who was worthy enough to be her lover, a tip from one of his rowdy men. Obviously, he was no ordinary person as she was no ordinary woman. When the woman entered, she stood at the entrance for a few moments, quickly analyzing the perimeter for him. "Sighted." The word left her lips in an exhale of breath.
He was with some other guy in an unorthodox garb. It seemed as if no one followed the antiquated rules anymore. Amaterasu made her way towards her beau, and all the while, her calm and composed face quickly left. Beneath the preceding physiognomy, was the lurid glare of a snake to its prey. She wasn't happy, to put it on simple terms.
Once at the table, Amaterasu seated herself on one of the empty chairs. "After last night, you owe me a ******** drink." She spat out the words to Kenkaku, and her signature glare was sent his way. The woman didn't care if she took blatant disregard to the other man at the table, cutting off his question, and placing in her own command. He wasn't anything to her, correct? Then no need to acknowledge strangers, even if that stranger was held in veneration in the Soul Society.
Being somewhat new in her position along with the fact that she was a scientist, who spent many days in the laboratory rather than out and about socializing like all of the other quirky bitches in the goddamn hell hole they called home, she did her research on old members. Amaterasu had her own way of digging up undisclosed information. It was her forte, snooping and whatnot. She had her own investigation team at work in her barracks, no big deal.

☽☾ S h i r o Y u k i n o☽☾ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Shiro sighed a bit as she felt the little hands pulling her along the path of sereitei. The white haired woman was being dragged along the streets by a group of five children. The pale-skinned woman had gone to visit her brother since it was a rare day where she could only to be assaulted by the little children who lived with him. He simply just waved her off, when she came in and allowed the little kids to pull her out in a game of tag...
Though that ended as soon as the children dragged her out of the house. They had decided it would be more fun to roam the streets of seireitei. Shiro didn't mind, she just hoped they wouldn't cause so much disturbance in the district. After all, it was fine if they had fun, but not fun if they caused a lot of noise in the normally peaceful district...Though of course, she enjoyed listening to their delighted cheers and playful cries.
"Slow down! You might fall!" She chastised with a small smile on her features. Something that was rarely seen in her work place, AKA the Gotei 13. Shiro always enjoyed smiling when around kids, they were so full of energy that she could feel it with each action they did. Although the group of kids pouted a bit, they slowed down to a walking pace and each held somewhere on her. Two kids held her hands, while the others grabbed onto the female shinigami's pants. If she wasn't wearing the shinigami garb and had her katana on the side, one would think she was just a normal citizen. Shiro chuckled a bit as they continued chattering excitedly about more games to play. If only there were more days like this.

[ Location ] Seireitei Diner [ With ] Kenshin Hiroshi Kenkaku smiled at his friend. s**t, steak could be eaten at any time of day! Meat was meat was meat. Raw ********' fish didn't compare. Kenny leaned back in his chair, pushing it onto the back two legs. " I should know better tha' that. " Kenkaku let out a small chuckle, before moving back to his steak. He paid a good amount of attention to what Kenshin had to say. Kenny motioned a meat-laden fork towards the fellow captain. " Ya' see, I was excited as ******** fer a minute. " Kenkaku said, before wiping his mouth on the back of his hand, and shoveling more food in. Chewing his food, Kenkaku continued. " I thoug' some major s**t was abou' ta' go down. Go' excite' an' s**t. " Kenkaku shook his head in mock disappointment. Even for Division Eleven, the division assigned the most missions, and with the largest amount of overall income as a result. Missions got boring though.
Kenshin, all of a sudden, popped a pill. Kenkaku's mouth simply opened, and his eyebrows cocked in deep surprise. He set down his fork and knife. What the ******** was this? Kenshin taking pills? " Kenshin Hiroshi... So old yer on medic'tion. Never though' I'd see tha' day. " Kenkaku shrugged, before motioning to Kenshin again. " What tha' hell was that fer? " Kenkaku probed, his eyebrows still cocked slightly.
Before any answer could come, there was an interruption of the sexy kind. Kenny heard her words across the cafe. " Sighted. " Her voice was one of the sexiest Exhales. " Oh s**t. " Kenkaku said, to himself and Kenshin. " Watch the ******** out. " Kenny said in a whisper, as Ameratsu turned the corner to get to their table. It was a warning to Kenshin as to Ameratsu's danger.
She sat a moment later, and already, her smell was infecting the area. A faint vanilla drifted it's way into Kenny's nose. Pure sex right there. Kenkaku smirked as she sat. Immediately, she started complaining. " s**t woman, don't eve' say hi to ********' Kenshin here. " He said, before moving back to his food. " You want a drink, orde' it yerself. I got tha bill. " Kenkaku shot a glance to Kenshin. He had his bill too. He had plenty of money to spare, so he could easily take this. Kenny picked up his bottle and poured some more sake into his now-empty cup. Steam rose from the small clay cup as Kenny took another sip.
Kenkaku motioned to Ameratsu. Her golden curls were shown off well in the light, and the angle her face was at did wonderful things for her face. He look to Kenshin a moment later. " Well, Kenshin, this is my chick, Ameratsu Maeda. She's tha' Division Twelve cap'n'. Sexiest b***h in the ********' seireitei ta' boot. " He motioned to Kenshin next, and looked at Ameratsu. God, she was hot. " An' this babe, Is Kenshin Hiroshi. Hesa member of tha' Division Zero s**t. He an' I are ol' partners, ya' see? " Kenkaku looked at the two of them. " You both know me, cos I'm awe'ome. "

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.кєηѕнιη нιяσѕнι ⇨ ~ Leadership isn't about speeches or being liked... Lookin at Zaraki, Kenshin replied to his remarks. "We can't be fighting all the time now, can we? We'd die much more sooner that what we're supposed to. How else you think I've been able to live for millenia? Besides, if I were here for some major issues, we'd be on the battlefield by now. Though don't despair, I'll make sure that the next major problem comes across my way, I'll see if I can get you to come along with me, alright?" Chuckling at his last remark, he then took a sip of his sake, as he then stayed quiet, as someone was approaching Zaraki.
Kenshin watched as a woman appeared and sat next to Zaraki, as she demanded that he owed her a drink. Remaining quiet, Kenshin remained silent as he looked at the two and observed them interact with each other. It was clear that they were well familiar with each other, though Kenshin was unfamiliar with the full extent of how familiar they were with one another. However, as Kenkaku explained, it was interesting to see that Kenkaku had found himself someone who could stay with him. Kenshin nodded his heard, as he looked at Ameratsu and introduced himself. "Kenshin Hiroshi. Pleasure to meet you ma'am." With a warm smile, he then resumed to eat his food, before he then addressed the pill that he took moments ago.
Laughing at Kenkaku's remark from earlier, Kenshin looked at him and responded in return. "Oh believe me, I don't need pills for my body. Consider that pill you saw me take earlier a antidepressant." Although he remained vague as to why he was taking antidepressants, it was assumed that he had some deep issues that he seemed to be keeping to himself. However, Kenshin let his comrade know about this, as he seemed to have been drinking a bit to much sake earlier, so he doubted that he would talk about the subject. However, Kenshin almost forgot that Ameratsu was with them, so he sighed, as she might touch on the subject if she felt the need to talk about it. No matter, Kenshin simply remained quiet to himself, as he resumed eating his lunch, as he still had a good amount of food let to himself. Enjoying the bento box to himself, as he was still hungry, even after going through half of the box on his own. As he continued to eat his food, he looked down at his watch, as he noted the time. "I still got myself 72 more hours to myself. Guess I better make the best of it." Then reaching for his cup of water, he waited for the two to respond. ...it's the end result that counts ~ ⇦ ┏xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┓ Mood: Curious Location: Seireitei Diner Thoughts: What a Pleasant Day.... ↠ Gabriel Surge ↞ ▸ "If you don't try to save one life, you'll never save any." ◂ ◉ ◎ ◉ ◎ ◉ xx Walking through the streets of soul society, Gabriel smiled, his hands behind his back. As he walked, he thought about what he might want to eat. Spotting a diner, he grinned to himself, walking a tad bit faster than usual. Stepping into the diner, Gabriel looked around. Noticing a table full of captains, Gabriel blinked in slight confusion, shrugging it off. Although, curiosity got the better of him. Sitting at a table just within earshot of theirs, Gabriel listened quietly, ordering a seafood pasta bowl. As he waited, he listened to them, smiling at the curses coming from the table. ‘such a lively bunch…’
Smiling to the waitress, Gabriel nodded to her as his food arrived. Pulling the chopsticks apart, Gabriel salted and peppered the dish before eating, his movements slow, smooth. As the waitress returned, he smiled, his voice like a snake through water. “If it isn’t to much trouble, could I have a nice hot cup of tea with this?” As the waitress went to get said tea, Gabriel went back to eating, his movements repetitive. It was almost like a ritual, pick up some food, eat, tap the bowl with chopsticks, repeat. Watching the waitress place the cup in front of him, Gabriel nodded to her, blowing on it gently before taking a sip. He hummed at the taste, his eyes closed as he ate and listened. He enjoyed the diner, and the conversations going on around him, it was soothing.

_______________________________________________________________________ "I really don't like introductions." Amaterasu waved off Kenshin because she really didn't give a flying s**t. People were people whoever they are, but the fact that he was in squad zero intrigued her. He must be some legit fighter to be that high ranked in the system. Of course, she knew this, as it was unearthed on one of the profiles she perused in weeks preceding this lunch thing. It seemed her man is in friendly relations with the vacationer from squad zero.
The woman captain motioned to one of the waiters with a slight movement with her index finger. With a slight smirk on her face she ordered a Cosmopolitan, a simple drink for a sophisticated lady like her. It was the only drink that she'd actually drink anyway, and it was what she grew accustomed to. With her order in place, Amaterasu had nothing else left to do other than seduce her Kenkaku. What other thing was there to do? Amaterasu stood up from her current chair, and took off her captain's coat on the forgotten seat. She pushed Kenny's back violently, making it slide back wards slightly. The woman sat down on Kenkaku's lap sideways, wrapping her arms around his neck. "We can leave now." The woman stated, crooning inaudibly in his ear. Public Display of Affection was clearly a must in her relationship with her baby. It was inevitable. The attraction was electrifying and too much to bear.
The woman also didn't like the lack of attention which left her quite alone, in the sea of awkwardness that these two men created. Especially the man eating the sushi. He just made her feel out of place, like she didn't even belong where she sat. ******** that. It was her turn to make him feel uncomfortable.
"So why is a man of your caliber doing wandering the Seireitei dubiously?" Amaterasu probed, as her drink arrived. The liquor was tinted blue in it's cute cocktail glass. A lime floated on top of the liquid's surface and bobbed with every minute movement she made.
There was nothing more to be said. The woman was bored. She could have easily wasted time in her laboratory. It would have been more interesting than these people.

[ Location ] Seireitei Diner [ With ] Kenshin Hiroshi Kenkaku coughed hard, pounding himself of the chest as Kenshin explained himself. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Ameratsu get her drink, and thought about grabbing that to help the cough. He held his hand. If there was one thing Kenny feared, it was the b***h beside him. Anti-depression pills? What the ******** was he taking that for? Kenkaku was normally the man to raise his tongue. So he did. " What the ******** 'r' ya' takin' pills fer? " Kenkaku blurted out, almost shouting. It was ridiculous! Kenshin Hiroshi, and emotional problems. Well, it wasn't that big a surprise. Kenkaku and the man were the type to see some heavy s**t. Kenkaku had the advantage of not really giving a ********.
He shook his head slowly, before suddenly Ame was up, and in his lap with a push. Kenkaku was a pretty heavy guy, so it showed what this woman could do. Strong and a ******** lunatic on top of it. Kenkaku felt her tight derriere rub over his lap, and he smirked in response. " Well s**t, babe. Look at chu'. " He crooned, before shifting his legs to get comfortable. She had a tendency to plant her a** square on a guy's balls.
His eyebrow cocked when she suggested leaving. " ******** that s**t. I'm with m' bud. I ain't leavin' yet. " Kenny shook his head, and moved around a bit. He leaned forwards slightly, and reached around Ameratsu to grab his fork and knife again. After some more repositioning, Kenkaku started cutting into his food again. He started shoveling food into his mouth again. He made sure to be careful not to get anything on Ameratsu's dress. She would rend his skin from his bones in some weird and ******** creepy way. It didn't matter if she wanted Kenkaku, she would kill him, and figure a way to bring him back to life a few minutes later. It's what she did.
Kenkaku finished his meat a few minutes later. There was still the side order of greens to finish, but Kenny through down his fork and knife. He wasn't gonna eat that nasty s**t. Kenny leaned back again, and put a hand on Ameratsu's waist. It was tiny, petite. She was cute, and fragile, like some porcelain doll. As Kenny felt of his woman, he thought briefly of just how easy it would be to break her like a twig over his leg. It was weird. She had a lot of crazy packed into that small frame. Kenkaku smirked, before pulling her closer, tighter into his lap. This, this was nice and blissful.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.кєηѕнιη нιяσѕнι ⇨ ~ Leadership isn't about speeches or being liked... Kenshin remained quiet, as he listened to the two talk, as he simply continued to eat his sushi quietly. He chuckled at Kenkaku's remarks about him taking antidepressants, as his react was typical to people who found uot about his antidepressants. No matter, he waited for the two to finish talking before he addressed their concerns. Once the two were finished, Kenshin took one last bite from his sushi, as he looked up at Amaterasu and answered her question. "I was forced to take a vacation by my boss. So I decided to spend some time over at the Seireitei and catch up with some old comrades."
Kenshin then turned his attention to Kenkaku, as he sighed for a second. Then reaching for his water, he then drank the rest of his water, as he then looked up at his old friend. "Kenkaku, I've known you for a long a** time, and you know well the kind of ******** up s**t we've seen in our day. However, before I ever met you, I've been living already for thousands of years. So believe me, I've seen some pretty ******** up s**t and I've done some s**t that I personally regret to this day. Besides, you know well that I've always found it hard dealing with the deaths of loved ones always, no matter how repetitive it becomes." Pausing for a moment, Kenshin began to think back about his life and other questionable things that he's done during his lifetime.
Kenshin remained quiet to himself for sometime, as he continued to think to himself. However, he remembered he was still in the presence of captains of the Gotei 13, and immediately paid attention to the two once more. It was clear that Kenshin wasn't being his normal self today, as it was clear that something was on his mind that he wasn't willing to share with these two at the moment. However, looking at Kenkaku, he spoke to him again. "Hey man, don't worry about it. If your lady doesn't want to be here right now, that's fine. Besides, I got 72 more hours to spend here in the Seireitei before I have to head over to the world of the living to attend to some personal matters." He then waited to see if Kenkaku would take up his offer and leave with his woman. However, Kenshin doubted that he would accept, so he signaled the waiter to some over at the table, and he asked him to prep him up some steak. It was clear that Kenshin was still hungry after eating all that sushi by himself. ...it's the end result that counts ~ ⇦ ┏xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┓ Mood: Calm Location: Streets of the Seireitei Thoughts: Zanpakutō State: Dormant ┗..xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┛ O.O.C: Sorry for the delay! ☽☾ S h i r o Y u k i n o☽☾ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Shiro let out a tired sigh as she walked through to get into the small shop, running hr pale hand through her white hair. The kids had ran back to her brother once he came to pick them up from her. Jeez...did he just use her to get some sleep? Most likely...After all, he had just waved her off before the kids dragged her out of the house. As she walked into the shop quietly she blinked in surprise as she noticed other captains in the small place...Everyone must be enjoying there time off then...
Shiro simply blinked as her mind processed the other people in the shop. She could identify the other captains by their voices as well as there head. The blond one was the captain for division twelve? Her name was Amaterasu or something by the means of that...the other one was the division eleven captain...She couldn't recall his name, though knew it had "Zaraki" Since most of the eleven's captains had that name. Though the last man..she couldn't recognize...she hadn't seen him before, which was starnge. He must be powerful if her knew the captains. Shrugging it off, she made her way to an empty table taking a seat since she had no reason to barge into whatever they were talking about...Not sure if she wanted to, seeing as the two captains were up to their usual display.
Shiro simply ordered a cup of tea with some Dangos, debating weather to return to her division yet, since there didn't seem much to do.

There sat a pain within his chest, for every heart beat that thumped within his ribcage a sharp blade would pierce his lungs a hundred times over. Each intake of air felt as if an iron maiden would be closing into his stomach, his heart was racing; his mind was going numb to all senses as the world began spinning in front of him. Faster and faster his eyes were darting left and right, through his iris a violet light flashed outward, just as small patches of light blocked out the scenery. His chest heaved, his stomach churned, there laid a weight like the sky falling onto his shoulders as his head was falling into the darkness that was sleep and the defeat of letting it. His insides burned, his mind was fighting this pain, his body was the breaking point, his muscle tissue felt nonexistent as the surge of fire flowed through his body, his every muscle tensed, his breathing began to stop no matter how hard he fought, kicked and screamed the pain wasn’t dying. His will wasn’t strong enough to overcome this, his strength not mighty enough to bury this beast, his mind unable to stop the pain as he finally succumbed to its power.
There was a thump, a dull flat thwack which was the sound of bones and a bag of meat slamming against the ground. His chest was bare and covered in deep gashes and scars, pouring off his beaten and broken body were pools of sweat, water that was an odd violet purple seeped into an ever growing puddle that engrossed his entire being from head to toe. The ground beneath him was wooden, several cracks were scattered about like dropping boulders onto hard oak, pieces were ripped up, some where missing and others stood out like jagged swords ready to impale any clumsy idiots. The warrior laid there in near defeat, his body had steam rising off it in thick groves, and his eyes were shifting blankly in rapid succession. His light brown hair was put flat into thick pool of purple spirit energy that was also gallons of sweat, blood was dripping from his ears, his nose and lips, his heart beat had slowed to a crawl with his breathing not far behind. Even his pants were ripped up and his arms seemed flat, nearly without muscle. Just before his eyes could close and his heart stop; he muttered the simply phrase that would end all of this pain and suffering. ”Sixth Gate… closes.”
His eyes gained color, his cheeks flushed with red filling, his body jolted as life was breathed into him. All at once the pain subduing him left like a bad dream, there was energy and movement, his mind awakened to the adrenaline and he could finally find strength within himself. By turning off the thing that was hurting him it gave him a small boost of energy enough to bring him to life and his will could easily keep him there. With aching muscles that felt like pure liquid he rolled himself over, his arms thrown flat against the floor his hand hit a small black box with red numbers flashing on its face. His lips parted to exhale his victory breath. “Two…. Two hours in sustained Sixth Gate… I’m the best!” He launched his fist up into the air, an air of sudden eccentric fist pump as he laid there to close to death-not close enough to her-for comfort. He pulled himself up to his chest; his arms were fists as he placed them just below his ribcage trying to hold himself upwards as he crawled forward a bit, reaching up towards his ruined couch, he saw it as the only object around for some support.
His hands were shaky, eyes blurred as he grabbed the destroyed edge of the sofa using all his energy and strength he pulled his limp body onto the cushions, the sound of bones breaking and flesh ripping as he threw himself horizontally onto the softest thing his broken body has ever felt. “God… Are you the only one that can give me a good fight?” Haunting was his laugher that followed, sending a hand through his hair a wide razor toothed grin appear beneath the shadow of his palm shining like knives. His body was shutting down on him, his hand fell limply over, falling from the couch as his breath became steady, his eyes closing for the first time in hours. The warrior let out a single breath and fell into a deep slumber, a very well earned rest his eyes glowing from the sight of his Zanpakuto staring back at him just when his eyelids shut like the curtain to a play, he was out like a light. This was something he did every day, he trained in the morning to this same extent, fighting his Zanpakuto spirit and normally losing, but mainly the focus is on endurance but that was all behind him, he just wanted to rest.
A screech knocked the unconscious slumbering warrior from his dream state, the horrid buzzing stabbing him in his ears; it was the dreadful curse of an alarm clock with no mother f’n snooze button. He was a light sleeper; a bug could wake him up even if he stayed up most of the night, but the mornings were tough he needed something so annoying, so dreadful, that it would pull him out of even the deepest comatose and he bought them in bundles. “Crush all beneath my Might.” That sound was deafening, it made his mind’s eyes the equivalent to blind man’s sight but he always placed them in the perfect place, right above the dresser. With a single fierce throw his shikai’s butcher blade was sent straight into the hunk of junk, slicing it in two, with the unfortunate side affect of the wall behind it being ripped open. He shook his head, trying to shake the numbness out of his mind, simply happy that alarm was off he pulled himself up to a sitting position. His eyes scanned the room like purple orbs floating amidst the darkness, he had nearly forgotten why he set his alarm to pretty much the beginning of the night but was going out to a fancy restaurant tonight and he needed to be awake.
He forced himself up, his hair was flat around the edges of his face, and his body had recovered so quickly from the injuries it only took hours for his mighty body to recover, partially thanks to his second gate, the gate of healing. He was nearly recovered to a good standing point, but his muscle still ached and his body was a bit weak and some times his hand didn’t always do what he wanted it to but that wasn’t the worst he’s woken up too. ”Alright where’s the sake!” he yelled scrambling to his foot, he needed a drink, he really wrecked his house this time, nearly everything was broken; The TV, the bed, couch, walls, everything but the dresser, luckily because he needed some clothing. He made his way to the fridge, stepping over holes in the floor, and cracks and missing floor boards and the nearly hundred weapons thrown about, but his journey to the fridge of magic sake had been complete. ”Two hundred EXP! Level up!” His inner thoughts echoed which caused a small laugh on the outside. Closing the door he had a good sized bottle of the best sake money can buy, it even tasted good cold; he chugged the thing as fast as he could, streams of red liquid pouring from the corners of his mouth he gulped it down in three seconds flat.
Then he choked and coughed like a fourth of it back up, grabbing his chest he winced in pain, it was like fire going down his throat and burning up his insides. He twisted the bottle nearly puking as he found out the cause of this commotion. ”Hot sauce. HOT SAUCE! Son of A-Argghhh HELL!” He threw the bottle in a flurry, it shatter against the wall as what was left flew out splattering the counter, while a small puddle of hot sauce spilled out onto the hard wood floors. He clenched his stomach and simply took the pain, spitting out what he could but resistance was futile: He needed some alcohol. His teeth grinded together, his stomped his way to the dresser pulling out the appropriate attire for tonight, what he wore every day and night, always ready, always waiting. This is the part where he gets dressed so I’m going to just type over it, you don’t get to see this, its not for children or perverts besides I’ve probably type too much already at least I’m getting back into things anyway.
The black clothing of a shinigami soldier draped off his shoulders, the black robes clung to his body, and a vest was noticeably sticking out from where normally his chest would be. The white outer lining of the black robes showed off his vest, it was a training vest that weighed nearly that many pounds, it was extremely heavy and he even contemplated not wearing it but that was against his training, sadly. The sleeves came down to his wrists but were tightened up by the vambrace he wore; pure black arm guards with a silver trim in a rectangular shape and also extremely heavy but only a fourth of the weight of his vest. He had a vambrace on each arm and a matching set of greaves. The pants, which are normally very baggy like dresses split in half matched his sleeves, tightened up by the technically light armor he wore. The greaves weight double the vambrace and kept the same color and shape pattern. Next where his combat boots, being American at least he felt that of a western descendant, he wore them to keep some sense of homage, they were also steel toed and kept a band of small throwing kunai within the outlining.
His hair was combed back; it stuck upwards on the right side in a few spikes, while the left held a couple of clumps that curved off over the frame of his face. Two large pieces were combed down to frame and square off his face, giving his jaw an edged look. He reached up to his hair, his hands wrapped in white bandages (so were his feet) he brushed it down little then back up, toying with it until it looked perfect until it finally did and he was happy with it. He tied the white obi sash to keep his pants up and grabbed the haori from his door rack pulling it over his shoulder then wrapping it like the strap of a book bag, tying it across his chest from shoulder down around his hip, the squad captain one symbol showing on the very center back of his haori. His final puzzle piece was the two blades now sitting on his dresser, one stabbed into the wall and the other lying flat, two short swords that resembled butchers knives and a katana all in one. He pulled the blade free from the wall and picked up the other, spinning them in his hands before sheathing them in their rightful homes which were tied to his belt and had it so the blades stuck out behind his waist in a V shape.
He found himself walking along the city streets, he was the newly appointed captain of squad 1, the youngest captain to ever hold that rank and he also liked to think himself the strongest as well. He had one of the highest spirit pressures in all of the seritei and even better he had complete control over it, he didn’t need to wear a seal like that former 11nth. He took his time in this stroll, his eyes staring up to the starry night sky, smiling at the millions of little lights all staring down upon the earth, he didn’t know which was more jealous the people that live down here, or the ones that live up there. Neither knowing that the other wanted to be in their place, they never respected what they had until it’s gone a philosophy in life he learned; always make the best of what you got. The Captain Commander rounded the next corner, his eyes shifting from all the tall nearly identical buildings, barracks and walls to a lively restaurant it seemed crowded so he wanted to see what all the fuss was about, fortunately his face was still fresh he hadn’t gotten an award ceremony yet but he didn’t really want one either.
He walked into up to the paper door, it was hanging in front of the place like a door would, noting the wooden walls and the small windows, despite this it was a very nice place, expensive and most important friendly. It felt like a family owned place but still modernized and what the kids would say: hip. Before walking in, he held the paper door open for a nice young lady, smiling kindly to her as she left, wiping off the smile as he entered. His eyes were bright with an almost excited glow, he found so many new people, fresh faces, all wearing a type of uniform like his own, except for a few that didn’t, but still it was nice almost like friends though he’s never met any of them, besides that man Gabriel. He didn’t feel like interfering with whatever the heck they were talking about and honestly liked to keep to himself, this lead him to find a waitress. She was young, pretty, in a uniform and she seemed free. ”Excuse me, miss…” he waited for the woman to turn around, as she did so the waitress bowed and he held his hands up a fist covered by his palm he extended to her bow. “please.” his form of greeting and ordered a simply bottle of sake and a large bowl of rice, brisket and a lot of sauce.
He made his way to the back end of the restaurant, in the darkest corner he could find, an old habit of liking the dark, and settled in. Sitting down with a small thud he found a deep pain his side, right near the lung as he had guess, but when he sat back up straight it went away and he was free again. He still wasn’t at full health, not even close; he found this was odd considering he would’ve fully recovered in a single nights rest with the second gate active all night. He leaned forward, resting his elbows into the table and began relaxing but the sound of creaking alerted him, with the unrestrained weight of his vambraces the table was about to flip over or crack beneath the pressure. He quickly controlled himself and with slight tensed muscles he rested his head in hands, the booth he was in was perfect cause he could lean into the wall and nearly nap on the soft cushiony backboard. “Here you go sir.” The voice was sweet, a big tip was going to her, the sweet smell of rice mixed into chopped pieces of brisket, a lot of Ducking brisket and a lot of the sauce that came with the meat all stirred up into one was breath taking. “Thank you, thank you.” he exclaimed bowing lightly to her with his hands pressed together balled to open palm; she was bowing and walked away off to help the next customer.
He was left alone to his thoughts, breaking the chop sticks and holding the bowl with his free hand he began digging into the sticky rice and meat, taking in big chunks of the mixed foods and ripping them to bits, his teeth were sharpened like razors and he was carnivorous, very carnivorous. He found the bowl half empty before grabbing the bottle of sake and inhaling the sweet liquid like a fish to water. Setting the bottle down he went back to scarfing down the food in a very American like manner, with no manners at all, but hunger and nature dictated this: normally he was always a gentleman and was great with manners. The bowl was licked clean; his teeth dripping with the sauce looked like blood spilling off the glistening edge of a blade before his tongue swiped away the sauce and revealed they’re gleam. They weren’t fake they were still bone, or whatever teeth are made out of, just all sharpened to a point, thanks to a great dentist and lots of money. The worst thing is, remembering when he bit his tongue this one time, it was hella painful and took a lot of stitches along with some reconstructive surgery, also lots of ice cream and drinking, along with Novocain so it was all good. He swallowed down the last of his sake and leaned back tonight was a good night for sure, the only thing that could make it better was a friendly little sparring match. ”I ate a bit to quickly, I think I need to work it off.”
