Briana Rossman & Sophie Miller  Team: ,  Shine,  Li,  Scratcher,  ,  Briana entered the hotel room with Sophie at her side and Eevee on her shoulder. She had conformed with Iris that the three of them and possibly her cousin Hikari would all be sharing a room together. It had made life that much easier for Briana, who unlocked the door using the key she had gotten from the front desk, knowing that she had roommates for this trip and would not need to beg for companions for this trip. Sophie was giggling like a mad girl as Briana opened the door, and raced inside, Mew floating around her head, once the door was pushed wide open. Briana sighed, her young cousin had left her bags in the doorway. Briana shook her had and followed Sophie inside placing her bags out of the way and getting Sophie's afterward. "Bri, Bri, look over here. You can the ice rink from here. Do you think we can go skating later?" Sophie asked pointing out the window. Briana stood back up and stretched her back before walking over to the window. Standing next to her cousin Briana was shocked by the fact they had such a great few, despite the clouds. "I don't see why not, but first we need to unpack. Sophie what did you bring anyway?" Compaired to Briana's one carry on size bag and overstuffed backpack Sophie had brought a full suitcase as well as a carry on size bag and a backpack. Sophie walked over to the piles of bags. "Mom wanted me to pack for everything, so she packed my bag at the house and had it delivered to the school before we left. She also packed the little bag full of snacks and my backpack has some school books, snacks and toys for the pokemon." Briana smiled, that was so aunt Lisa, making sure Sophie had everything and than some. Plus a full bag of snacks, Briana could tell Aunt Lisa was planning on Sophie's room to be a party room. How very thoughtful of her Aunt. Briana smiled and shook her head. This was going to be a very interesting trip.  Team: Quacker,  Ace,  Rex,

Iris smiled, looking at Sophie as she unpacked her things. The girl was so energetic and happy about the trip. Not to mention that her and Iris seemed to have mothers that shared the same idea of overpacking. Also, it seemed that Briana was as well. So was Iris. How can you get to have a room with one's friends and favorite cousin? Of course it would had been better if two more people were. Unfortunately Marco and Niara couldn't make the trip. She felt bad since she still believed that part of it was one her as well but Marco always told her otherwise and enjoy herself. With a couple of promises of bringing back stuff and to be safe. Iris sighed to herself as she put some shirts in a drawer. It felt like Undella all over again in her head even though she knew that would wouldn't be losing anyone. Just it felt a little different but this time she could fun. The two would had wanted it that way. Not to mention, with her other friends by her side and the activities to do, it would be a challenge to remain down.
"We're going to do plenty, Sophie." Iris said with a smile as she transferred more things to drawers. "By the time we leave, we would had done everything at least five times!" Iris started to feel her energy match Sophie's as she looked at the scenic display outside their window. She took out her phone and took a picture of it. She did after promise to bring back photos. If she was lucky enough a nice Pokemon as well. Iris walked to Briana.
"Oh Bri... she said with a mischievous grin. "A trip like this calls for a couple of things: scary stories time, hot cocoa, plently of snow and mounds of playtime til we drop. You think you can keep up with me and Sophie here?
Iris squealed as she plopped on the nearest bed to laugh and look at the girls.

XXXl➛ LOCATION: Hotel room -> Pool XXXl
Silvano carefully made his way into the hotel room he was assigned, mindful of anyone else that might of already been in the room. He wasn't sure who was assigned to the room as well but somewhat suspected that it'd be Vern or Oliver. Regardless, he was fairly early so he guessed it was no surprise that the room turned out to be empty.
Carrying this suitcase with him over to the bed at the side of the room, he gently set it down near the wall before placing his black messenger bag down on the bed. Inside that bag was a round pokemon egg he decided to bring with him. The egg had been recently moving and shaking more often than he liked, so he assumed it was close to hatching and didn't want it to do so while he wasn't at his dorm. So in the end, after a long debate about handing it off to the daycare to look after for him, he decided to smuggle the little thing along with him on his trip. He hoped it wouldn't be a too big of a transgression of any sort. He figured that if it hatched while he wasn't nearby for a long period of time, there was a chance that it'd grow up resenting him or something. Pokemon were so fickle to him.
After setting down the bag, Silvano glanced over at his clock on the table beside his bed. He had some time yet to do whatever he wanted before he had to go anywhere. Though, he didn't feel interesting in the TV nor the scarce stack magazines that were set up on the table in the room. But he remembered mention or something about a pool at the hotel they were all staying in. chances were, some of the others probably had the same idea, but Silvano didn't mind the idea of checking it out. Maybe even Iris would be interested. Digging his phone out of his pocket, he quickly sent Iris a text.
Quote: "Hey, Iris. I know you're probably still unpacking, but I was wondering if you'd feel up to heading off to the pool when you're done. I'll meet you there if you feel like going - unless you beat me there.
- Best regards, Antonio"
Returning his phone to his pocket, he then turned his attention to his suitcase. Heading over to it, he turned it on its side and opened it, soon removing a bathing suit. Standing up, he headed over to the bathroom and promptly got changed into a black pair of boardshorts. Heading out of the bathroom with a white robe covering him, he hung his signature black jacket in the coset by the door before heading out with his card key in hand. He also took his cell phone with him, just in case, which he held onto along with his card. He didn't mind the idea of hanging out with Iris and didn't mind if she brought some friends along, if she felt like it. He also sort of wondered what Maria was up to.

 ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Iris looked at her bed, her phone chriping at the new message. She got off the bed she was on to her own bed. Flipping the phone up, she read the text and smiled. Silvano wanted to go swimming with her Quote: Hey Antonio, I'm done with unpacking and I'm so ready for a swim （≧∇≦）I'll definitely see you down at the pool... If I don't beat you there first of course o(｀ω´ )o Iris sent the message and went straight to the bathroom with her swimsuit in hands. She was out in a few minutes wearing her swimsuit and a pair of short to cover her bottom. "I'm heading to the pool. Meeting up with Antonio.
So I'll catch you girls later. I'll have my phone on me so text me when you go out for fun. Okay?" Iris grinned as she left out of the room, closing the door behind her. Iris walked down the hallway, trying to get to the pool. She hummed to herself as she couldn't wait to see the pool. "It's pool time...'Finally some pool... Me and my Pokemon having some pool time. I hope Antonio brought Lugia and his Pokemon as well. Now that I think about it, this is the first seeing each other in swimsuits... I wonder if he actually swims."She laughed to herself as she walked around for the door to the pool. Silvano slowly sauntered down the hallway, when he felt his cell phone suddenly go off in his hand. Bringing up to look at it, he flipped it open she a reply from Iris. He smiled inwardly as he went to answer the text.

Hitting the send button, it suddenly dawned on him that Iris would probably bring her pokemon along with her and that maybe it'd be best to do the same. Giving a hushed sigh, he turned on his heel and headed back to his room, quickly collecting his pokemon and placing their pokeball in his bag that had his pokemon egg in it. Throwing it over his shoulder, he then headed back out of the room and picked up his pace. More than likely, Iris would probably beat him to the pool at this point.
Making this way through the hallway, he followed the signs that directed him to where the pool was. Sure enough, standing right outside the twin doors to the pool was Iris, he could recognize her green hair from anywhere. She looked great in the bathing suit she donned, showing off her curved figure nicely. Inwardly, Silvano reminded himself not to gawk too much. "Hello, Iris. You look great." He spoke up to her with a bit of a wave, before complimenting her. He soon stopped beside the door and used his room key to unlock it, opening it so Iris could step inside first. "I figured you'd get here before me." He thinly smiled before following her into the room.
The air around them felt humid and warm from the heat pool and hot tub that resided in the corner. It was pretty big sized room, surrounded a tall dome of glass around it, giving a clear view to the snowy environment just outside. Over all, the entire room had a nice aesthetic to it and they seemed to be the only ones around. Heading over to one of the glass tables, Silvano set down his bag, cell phone and card, as well as the robe that had been covering him, before going over to the towel rack and picking up two towels - one for him and the other for Iris. Walking back over to the same table, he then placed the folded towels there as well, claiming their spot. "Do you want to be the first to test the water?" He asked Iris almost teasingly. He figure he'd let her jump in first, incase she was the type to push other in first. He had come across those types and didn't much want Iris to learn the fact that he really couldn't swim.

 Location: ~ Hotel ~ Maria arrived at the hotel and started to unpack. She didn't know who her roommates would be and figured it would all be left up to surprise. Walking out of her room she figured going to the pool might be a nice idea. When she got there however she wished she hadn't Silvano and Iris were there and of course they were together. That wasn't about to stop Dewgong though. 'Why is Silvano here he can't swim...?' she thought. "Dewgong!" Maria shouted at him as he dove into the water without another thought. "Looks like Dewgong tested the water for you." she told the two of them as she walked over. With that said she let out her Mantine before letting her other pokemon out. Keldeo was with them but he was sitting with all the other pokemon on the side of the pool. Omanyte was still hiding in his shell despite the water nearby. Maria looked at her Dewgong and Mantine in the water before backing away from the side and jumping in after them. Coming up from the water she relaxed a bit once Mantine came to see her. "So you guys happy to be here?" she asked them trying to be nice and make light conversation. And if we die, I’ll meet you up in ђєคשєภ The past weeks were just a living hell. But let's start at the beginning, his surprise belated birthday party. Yeah the party in of itself had been a blast, don't get him wrong, though the fact that one of he and Iris's friends from work -whom was also a student at the Academy in class D- had arrived with some alcohol -vodka to be specific- and some of their drinks got well... Spiked. To say the least that is. That had also been Vern's first time with any form of libation, so it didn't take too much of the spiked drinks to get him to start giggling, horny, and laughing incredulously at just about everything that happened. It must be noted whoever, that Vern did not get full-on drunk just very close to it. Very tipsy, is the next best term that can be thought of to describe him. Either way, playing the various uh "party games" that the girls had come up with was definitely much more exciting with varying amounts of alcohol into their systems, than without. Oliver also had some amount in him, though the actual amount was unknown, but nevertheless the had a good time together later that night. Getting drunk with your best friend was always exciting, right? The details of what happened,though, Vern had never disclosed to anybody, and it was best if one asked Oliver instead since Vern insisted on playing dumb on the matter. Ever since then, his heartache over having to watch his bestfriend go out with another guy just hurt even more. How could he date someone as insipid as Gavin?! Gaw!
A couple of days before he'd been released from the Infirmary, his medications had completely ceased to work for him, but because he didn't want people to burden themselves in worrying over his well-being, Vern had failed to inform anybody of this and kept taking his now pointless medications. Over the period of the past month his mother also found out that not only was she pregnant with someone other than his father's child, she was pregnant with twins. "Oh wonderful." Vern had mumbled sarcastically to her over the phone when she'd told her about it. The discovery had been only a few days ago, and the fact that his mother was even pregnant at all was yet another thing that he'd kept from his friends these past few weeks. He didn't want to burden people more than he already was, with issues that didn't concern them. And to make things worse, his father finally found out about his mother's pregnancy only just the night prior to current events, where Naomi wound up crying to Vern over the phone again and his dad yelling in rage at the both of them. His yellings had been an odd mixture of english, japanese, and even tid bits of his native tongue, Swedish, but the meaning had still been clear to Vern. If he stepped foot back home, he was a dead man.
The news that home was no longer home for him, ontop of everything else that was going on his miserable life, had left Vern crying non-stop all last night through a mixture of emotions ranging from fear, shock, anger, helplessness, worthlessness, heartache and just full-on depression. Even with his medication not working, he'd been forcing on a bigger and bigger fake smile for the sake of everybody else around him, as if there was absolutely nothing wrong. Hikari or Oli might've been the only ones to start finding it a tad suspicious but didn't say anything -even then he couldn't be too sure about that-, but after that if anyone was catching on to his overly-enthusiastic behavior then they didn't make any mention of it. His best efforts were saved for work, where he remained completely normal, but as soon as his shift was up and he left the premise's of Molly's Cafe, his fake mood dropped severely. The more weeks that went by, the harder and harder it became for him to keep up his act, and by the last week before break he had almost completely dropped it while on school-grounds, leaving all the will he had left to make sure that he had the right attitude for work.
But now, on this December twenty-third, just two days before Christmas, Vern had chosen to sit away from his usual group of friends on the trip to Hailstone, instead taking a spot next to his Class D friend -whom was the same person that had spiked some of their drinks. His true emotions were still being covered up, but just barely, only enough so that his Class D friend, Anthony Wilson, wouldn't ask questions. At some point, the two of them had compared Breeding instructors, and Anthony complained about how Mister John Parker had given them homework to do over the break, while Mister Jones had been kinder to them. As a response, Vern sort of just laughed at his friend and coworker. Not long after that, Anthony had finally pointed out Vern's evident bad mood and had handed him a water bottle from out of his bag with a dark blue label on it, followed by a second one. He'd then explained to Vern, that those dark blue labels meant that they actually had Vodka in them, and that Vern was apparently in much need of a drink. Smiling, he'd thanked his friend for the friendly gesture, and stuffed the two "water bottles" -which held about six ounces of liquid each- into his messanger bag.
Upon arrival of the Hotel that they were apparently staying at, Vern made sure to claim an empty room so that he wouldn't have to share with anybody. He slumped onto the bed, enjoying the solitude that his room offered him, and he plugged his earbuds into his ears so as to block everything out. Beside him, Rose -the only pokemon he had out right now- cuddled up to him and purred lovingly. XXYou’re everything I’ve been waiting for

Iris looked at Silvano as he came close to her. Looking at him, she had to blush a little. The boy looked good, really good. Reminded her of Marco. She just smiled as he complimented her appearance. She laughed a little as he tried to keep his eyes about her neck. She walked into the pool area as Antonio let her in first. She looked back at Antonio with a sweet smile.
"Thanks Antonio. You look good yourself. Looks like you've seen the gym or a pool more than once." She said jokingly.
She turned around to see Maria and her Pokemon already there. She looked a bit surprised to see the two. Iris just assumed that it was because they were in swimsuits instead of normal clothes... Or maybe it was still from the party. After all, they really knew more about each other... When Antonio asked about testing the water, Maria's Dewgong and her own Floatzel decided to test it for them as she they jumped into the water. Iris was splashed a little and laughed at it.
"Looks like it fine to me..." Iris smiled gleefully as she took her shorts and jumped into the pool. She resurfaced, shaking her hair of the water and turning to splash Antoniol. "I'm having a blast Maria. The view is beautiful. This water is lukewarm. It's perfect, come on in Antonio... We can race or play some games. Come on Antonio, come join me... Pretty please."
Iris swam around as Itachi remained underwater. Zoey joined in as herself while Mau and Itachi remained at the shallow end of the pool, treading water a little as Blaze just enjoyed the steam rather than attempting the water. Iris looked at Maria and Antonio. Once they were in, she would be ready to dive and swim around.

I'm here for you ღ Iris Amity Piper ღThe Rainbow After The Storm»-(¯`v´¯)-»After the long and slightly chilly journey, Iris finally arrived at the hotel where she and the other students would be spending their holiday vacation. She couldn't help but feel sad a little. This would be her first Christmas without her family surrounding her, without her mother dressing her in a ridiculous Christmas dress, without her father dressing up like Santa Claus, without Iggy pestering her to bake cookies with him and stay up all night to wait for midnight on Christmas Eve... Iris sighed and pulled on her tightly wrapped scarf. She wheeled her suitcase to the front desk where she was assigned a room and given a room key. She then walked down the hall, to the left, up one... two... three flights of stairs, another left, and finally found her room. Out of breath now, she quickly opened the door. Inside was just as amazing as the outside of the hotel. "Hmm... It looks like there's enough room in here for three more people. I wonder who my roommates will be...?" she said to herself as she set her suitcase on the floor against one of the walls. Walking to the window, she gazed out at the wonderful view. Everything was coated in white, evergreen trees wrapped in coats of snow with icicle jewelry. "Wow... Hey. They have a pool? It must be heated. Looks like Iris has found it... Oh! An ice skating rink! Gotta check that out while I'm here. And I have to take lots of pictures. For Mom and Dad... and Ig too." she said, talking to herself again. She had been doing that a lot lately. Maybe she was homesick... Maybe she was losing her mind... Maybe it was already gone... Either way, she was here, and she was going to try to have some fun. "I hope Rin shows up soon... I should go down to the pool and take some pictures. Make a big scrapbook of the Winter Trip. Yeah. Sounds like a plan." she said, again, thinking out loud. Iris opened her suitcase and retrieved her swimsuit, then ran to the bathroom to change. She might actually get in the water. Maybe. She wrapped her towel around her small body, grabbed her camera as well as a waterproof case for it so she could take some pictures underwater, and her bag with her pokeballs in it, put on some flipflops, and went downstairs and outside to the pool. {OOC: Wow. Gavin sprawled out on his bed, completely tired from the trip over. He spent so much time being excited and chatting it up with Oli. "I still have to unpack... So tired!" He whined in his pillow. "And I still have to hide Oli's christmass present," He muttered to himself as he turned his face out of the pillow. Curious, typhlosion nuzzled in closely. "Hey, don't worry, I got you something too!" Gavin laughed as he petted his pokemon. "You remember our first christmas together, don't you buddy? You were just barely a quilava back then." The two began to reminice. The very first holiday gift quilava got was a tuff-squeak-&-chew-toy. It'd jumped scared as it heard the sound from pouncing on the wrapping. "But I'm kinda scared, you know?" Typhlosion cocked its head curiously. "I know it sounds dumb, but I really don't wanna screw this up. I really like him and I really trust him. He's a cool guy to just hang with and stuff, you know? Actually, I can't remember any relationship that I felt so relaxed about. And that's why I'm scared of it." Typhlo? the fire type blinked confused like, just as it's trainer rubbed down on its head. "I'm overthinking it, aren't I? Oli's a cool guy, so I shouldn't worry!" He smiled.

Silvano noted the blush on Iris' face, but decided against calling her out on it. He was already trying not to get caught ogling her, when he greeted her. Though, he had a sneaking suspicion that Iris had already caught on to him, hence the laugh she gave. Hiding a lopsided grin, he followed after Iris, soon shaking his head at the comment she gave him. "Thanks. I like to call it genetics..." He then quipped. His own figure was far from perfect, having worked out very little, but at least it was fairly toned.
Upon setting his things down, Silvano didn't expect to see Maria in the room as well. But it made sense, seeing her pokemon, Dewgong, was eager to take advantage of the water first, along with Iris' Floatzel. He should of known Maria would be at the pool. She was always one to think about her pokemon and knew they'd enjoy the water. "I think you might be right..." He answer Iris, after she commented on the water being fine after watching the two eager pokemon jumped in already. He then turned to Maria and smiled at her comment on Dewgong. "Looks like you've got a bigger pokemon to look out for, though, it's good to see his personality didn't change at all." He laughed, noting that Maria's Seel had evolved. He could only imagine how Maria must of been handling the bigger, and yet still rambunctious pokemon.
Returning his attention back to Iris, he then watched her take off, jumping into the pool. Silvano backed up, making sure not to get splashed. Though, when she resurfaced, she was kind enough to get anyway. He shielded his face as best he could from the water she splashed his way. Didn't really work out, but it at least spurred him to get her back. Watching Maria call out some of her pokemon to join her, Silvano reluctantly decided to do the same. Heading back over to his, he removed two pokeballs; Shellder and his newest pokemon, Tynamo. Calling both of them out, Shellder joined Maria's pokemon at the side of the pool while Tynamo appeared in the water of the pool, quick to meet up with Maria's Mantine before finding Iris' Floatzel and attempting to keep up with it.
After letting his two pokemon join them, he slowly made his way to the side of the pool. Carful not get splashed again when Maria jumped in. Both girls where quick to get in the water. Seeing as it was a heated pool, it probably wasn't that bad jumping in. "Yeah, so far this trip hasn't been too bad." He answered Maria before Iris did as well. Though, she just had to entreat him to get in the pool as well - which he wasn't hiding his reluctance at all. "Right... I'll get on that." He muttered, before stepping up to the side of the pool. He then crouched down, and eased himself down into the water, hardly an enthusiastic entrance. He could feel his feet touch the bottom of the pool with the water coming up to his neck almost. He'd sick to this area for the most part, though he had to admit that the water was nice.
From where he stood in the water, he watched Iris and Maria swim around a little, before leaning into the side of wall. "Play some games...?" He questioned to himself. "I'm not so sure..."

Location: ~ Hotel - Pool ~ Maria was glad that they were all enjoying themselves despite being away from their families for Christmas. It wasn't so bad when you thought about how much fun they would have while in the City of Hailstone. "Yeah sure do but he's still the same hyper active and all." she giggled as Dewgong swam up behind her and swam around her. "You sure are the same aren't you Dewgong." Maria said stroking Dewgong's neck. "Dewgong gong." (You bet I am.) he spoke happily. She was shocked that Silvano had caught himself a Tynamo and it seemed like a cool pokemon. "Looks like someone caught themselves a Tynamo. Cool little guy aren't they." she spoke up as she watched Mantine meet the small eel like pokemon. "Mantine." (Hello there.) he spoke softly as he watched the small eel pokemon. Mantine was very used to dealing with smaller water types like Remoraid so he felt happy to see the small pokemon. That wasn't the only pokemon on Maria's team that seemed to have movement. Omanyte had spotted Shellder and was now slowly coming out of his shell. "Look Omanyte's coming out of his shell." Maria spoke in complete shock. Maria had come to understand that her Omanyte was just simply shy and that although she had managed to get him to come out when others weren't around he was still having trouble with groups. Now it seemed he had come out to see Shellder which was in some ways not a big surprise. "Oman..." (Hello...) he shyly spoke as he inched over to Silvano's shell pokemon. Even Growlithe was getting in on the fun by pawing at the water. Maria looked over at Iris as she mentioned something about playing a game. "Sure we're up for that, right guys?" she spoke up looking to Mantine and Seel who happily slashed in agreement. Iris swam around in the deep end of the pool, enjoying the depth to swim like she was in an ocean. Surfacing for air, she watched Silvano's slow and steady approach into the water but he didn't swam them. Rather, he walked to around his height keep him above the water so he walk without having to tread water. It lead her to think a couple of things. One of the possibility that he couldn't swim or float. She approached him...
"We'll can play right here if you don't wanna go any deeper in the water. I'm fine with that so we can play together." She said sincerely. It was kinda reminding her of when Marco was hesitant at the Rock Climbing Wall. She smiled with a nod before she turned back to look at Maria and her own Pokemon nearby.
As she turned around, she took notice first of how Itachi at the deep swimming, Zoey was treading in the shallow near Mau who decided that she enough water and was sitting on the edge of pool watching Romeo swim back and forth. The next thing she noticed was the new Unova-originating Pokemon that belonged to Silvano. The little fish like definitely a cute one it floated around the pool area. It made her realize that it had to be the Pokemon Silvano caught when she left him to go be with Marco. He caught the Pokemon... She turned back around to look at him.
"That's right, you did get a Tynamo. Congrats... I'm so proud of you! Iris jumped up a little and hugged the boy in congrats of his capture. She never get to congratulate him. It may seem extreme but her was that it would him movitated to catch more. "To many more captures. Now Let's play a game. I think I see some pool toys over there..."
Iris walked out of the water to retrieve what she had seen. When she returned, she was holding a large blow up ball in her hands as she grinned at the two in the pool. Her smile said it as she held out the ball like it a lost artifact she had found. Though she was sure she just looked overexcited.

Just as it seemed, Maria's Dewgong didn't seem to change much at all from the happy-go lucky Seel it once was. Watching the pokemon swim around Maria, Silvano shot her a rueful smile. "I figured as much." He remarked soon after Maria confirmed his suspicions about the pokemon. "I only pray I don't end up with a pokemon with that much energy, like Dewgong." Knowing that he'd soon have a Seel of his own, he hoped hyperactivity wasn't an inherent trait. He'd soon pawn pokemon off on either Iris or Maria if that were the case.
Taking a step away from the edge of the pool, Silvano turned his attention back to Iris, watching her over in the deep end of the pool. She was like a natural, gliding through the water with such finesse - she was probably someone who use to swim quite a bit. Deep down he wished he join her, but didn't feel much like testing his incompetence today. Though, it seemed that just as he had made the thought, Iris began to make her way back over to him. Did she catch on to him already? Or was she going to chide him about something else related to gawking? As it turned out, it was the former. "That'd be... much appreciated." He answered Iris hesitantly when she brought up not going any deeper in to the water. He didn't mind the idea of having a little fun together, long as it didn't consist of trying something he couldn't do - which was test the deep end. In a way, he was glad Iris picked up on it and seemed sincere.
Just then he heard Maria speak up to him, mentioning the newest pokemon he managed to obtain, Tynamo. Another contrite smile soon crossed his face. "Yeah... it was suppose to be a Barboach, but I guess Shellder found this one instead." He admitted, before glancing around the pool to see where the eel-like pokemon took off to. He soon spotted it with Maria's Mantine, tiny in comparison, but vehemently swimming along side it under one of Mantine's large wings. Maybe the Tynamo was starting to confuse itself for a Remoraid. It was interesting watch. Actually, most the pokemon in the water were. Iris' Floatzel taking advantage of the deep end and the rest of her pokemon seemed to be enjoying either the shallow water near the stairs or somewhere near the middle. It was an endearing sight nonetheless.
Shifting his gaze to Iris, he catch her looking at the new Tynamo he managed to catch. It then suddenly dawned on him that he hadn't found the time to tell her about it. Not even in a simple text. A pang of remorse washed over him as he watched Iris turn to him. At first, he was expecting her to chastise him for it, ultimately but found himself caught off guard by her reaction - not expecting a congratulations or the sudden embrace. "That's right. I caught him shortly after you took off. I... really did intent to tell you about it. I guess it slipped my mind." He admitted after Iris had hugged him. "But... thank you." He then added, a little unsure of his accomplishment she was congratulating him for. It was good to know she was proud of his efforts. Maybe it really wasn't that bad catching and training pokemon. He then smiled at Iris' encouraging words. Maybe it was a good cause to play a game.
He watched Iris head out of the pool before noticing the look on Maria's face. He didn't quite get what was up, until she mentioned something about her Omanyte coming out of it's shell. "Looks like you're Omanyte's starting break away from his shyness." He told Maria, with a thin cordial smile. Thinking about it, he never did see what Maria's pokemon actually looked like. Turning his gaze to the ancient shell-like pokemon, he noticed that his Shellder was right adjacent to it, staring down the pokemon opposite of it with interest. "Shellder."(Hello) His pokemon cried out excitedly once he watched the Oman inch closer to him. Shellder still didn't take it's wide and rather vacant eyes off it's new companion. Instead, it rocked a little on it's spot, as if trying to communicate or play with the Omanyte. Silvano didn't know why, but Maria's fossil pokemon reminded him a lot of Shellder when he first started out. Only, he was pertty such his pokemon was never shy, it just extremely obstinate for whatever reason.
Keeping near the edge of the pool, Silvnao soon turned to look back at Iris, who had brought out a round inflatable beach ball from the pile of pool toys she had pointed out to them. He wasn't sure of what to make of the grin Iris had on her face, but was certain she was both proud and excited about of her find. "Great find, Iris. I'm that'll keep us entertained for a while." He told her half-jokingly. "Why don't you give it a toss?" He the added, backing up towards the center of the pool, while making sure he could touch the bottom. It had been awhile since he had last had some genuine fun, playing a trivial game. So why not?
