Boredom was written all over her face as she stared at the ceiling in her room. She was done with training, her masters had excused her because they were too tired to continue...Ha...Old men....She was then sent to the library to study which she skipped of course. If they weren't going to do battle training, why bother after all?
She was hiding out in a vacant room of the house, since there was a lot, they probably would give up eventually. She sat back up and yawned. Bored...Bored...Bored...Bored... was her only thought. Maybe she could go slicing some stuff....if it meant escaping this boredom...

The door of the room opened slowly, the figure of a blond man appeared from behind it with some of the outside light hitting on her face. Ryoushi smiled a little looking to her "Found you." He walked to her, it was not easy to find out where she hid but he had some luck this time "I though you owuld be training with the old mans today." He were supposed to be her training partner normally, but from time to time the higher ups would give him errants so they would train her, he was not sure why but maybe they wanted to think she was strong because of them or something, he pet her head the way he always do since childhood "Did you tired them until they were unconscious again?" He laughed a little.

Kaoru blinked and winced as light came from the now open door. She blinked, her eyes getting used to the light to turn and look at the figure. Hearing his comment about finding her she just let out a puff of air and said "Well, it's only since the servants have mush for brain." It was seriously passed one hour and they still couldn't find her. They were looking for her on the lower floors most likely. Kind of stupid since she never hid there...wouldn't that get through their heads by now? She always skipped just studying. Hearing his next question, she shrugged and said "They could only last 2 hours against me, then ran away with their tails between their legs." She then smirked and said "And they are probably still passed out by now."

He sighed and smiled "Such a gentle Queen we have here." He stopped patting her head, it was probably pretty hard on her to have this tittle, but he did the best he could to lighten things up "Yeah I though of offering the queen some action, if you didn't have you share of fun already." He smirk like if challenging her to a game.

Kaoru just scoffed at his comment on her being a gentle queen. From the way they did things to decide the new ruler, none of them were gentle rulers after all. I mean they fought- FOUGHT against other unlucky suckers that wanted to get involved with the throne. When she won, she would change that...this way of deciding stuff was getting to old. Hearing his challenge she just shrugged and fell back down to look at the ceiling. "Can't leave yet, im still supposed to be in the library studying." She said with a sigh. 10 more minutes and she'll be on her own time, not some old men's time. If they caught her now...she would be dragged, yes, dragged to the library to study on how to be a great ruler and blah, blah, blah...Couldn't she just learn when they won?

Kaoru snickered a bit and did a dramatic gasp. "My knight wants me to slack off on my studies and sneak off to play around in the village?" She let out a small laugh, and said "Sure, just when I have free time." She took out a pocket watch, and looked at the time. She was supposed to have 8 more minutes of studying time. She sighed again and said "Though I still think they would say stuff like that, after all it's kind of well known on which persons are avatars and knights for the clans by now." Their clan didn't announce it yet, but she could suspect that they would do it real soon...To her knowlage, she was the youngest out of the other avatars. Which was a good and bad thing.

Ryoushi laughed a little, she was pretty fun when not serious in middle of trainings those old mans made her do, "Hey I'm just a modern style knight" He laughed "Shining armor is a little out" He laughed alot now "And I passed all your father's tests." He said looking to the ceiling.

Kaoru snickered again when he said the shining armor was out. That made a picture or Ryoushi in the knight costume pop up on her head. She thought of him riding on a horse with a lance yelling "CHARGE!" That made her snicker more as she thought of him like that. She should request that next time, for all warriors to wear the costume for fun. That would make her laugh. Hearing his comment about the test, she just sighed and said "Well, That old man always liked you anyway. Probably why he wanted you to train as a knight." She paused, then said "Hey...what was that skill the wanted you to learn..." She trailed off and thought for a moment. "Redemption, or something like that right?" What did that skill do? Was it a fighting move? Passive move? or a defensive move? The name sounded kind of dark.

He sighed and closed his eyes just listening to her talk about ther father but then, the question came. He looked to her face and smiled gently "It's just Dark in the name. Your father wanted me to be a templar knight, so I had to learn this. It's a Skill taht make the avatar immune to wounds." He said just till there, she didnt need to know how she would not get wounded, she just needed to think it was a defensive skill.

Kaoru stared at him as he looked at her face. She was watching for any signal that could give something else away. If it was a defensive skill...how was it used then? Maybe it was a barrier from one of his scrolls...that seemed a bit far-fetched though, since his scrolls were mainly offensive or something that would weaken the enemy. And if it was a scroll, why did he need to train to use it? Couldn't he just open it and cast like the others? "So...it's a barrier or something?" She asked, still watching closely to his body language, to see if he was lying or not. "How does it work?" She added after a bit.

He looked to her eyes, he noticed she was analyzing him by now so he had to do his best so she wouldnt find out "It's something like that, with this skill I can make a aura of light that will guard the one I chose to protect." He said smiling with his eyes closed, he dont like to lie to her, but it was her father's condition for him to become a knight.

Kaoru blinked and said "Oh, Thats all?" Why would they name a move like that when it uses light redemption? Didn't make sense...looks like she would need to go to the library for further information on that move...or her father's personal library if needed. She broke into there before after all to get information on the sacred item she had. WHy didn't hey just name it aura or something that sounded not so dark...Really..Redemption? Just saying it was kind of dark.
As Sven rang the door, one of the maids quickly went to the door to open it up and say "May I help you sir?" The maid was a slightly old looking lady in a kimono and a fan in her hand. The other servant were running around doing their chores and looking for Kaoru, who was still hiding out.
