"A little about myself..."

Name:Shiro Yukino

Height: 5'5

Weight: 104 ibs


Personality:Unemotional, cold and a bit distance towards people. She would rather interact with animals than with people for a number of reasons which she finds them more peaceful and they do not talk back towards her.

When meeting her for the first time, she can be described as intimidating because her eyes always seem to be in a glare when talking. She is very quiet, only talking to people when they address her or call her, but she easily says her responses in her mind. She is actually quite hard-headed, and stubborn if you get to know her. Her way of living is to just keep going forward and not look back.

Like everyone, she does have a temper. Her quiet and secluded self can change when she gets irritated or when her temper explodes she becomes a loud woman always screaming and yelling out her orders, or battle cries. The basis of her temper personality is from her brother, who is like this. On free time she likes to visit him in the rukongai district where she grew up.

In battle, she is analytical, watching the opponents every moves to counter it as soon as they finish attacking. She doesn't speak in battle, her eyes do all the talking for her. She focuses on fast strikes and tried not to unseal her Zanpaktou unless it is really needed.

Physical Description:

Pale skin, with long white hair and gray eyes. She usually wears the official Shingami uniform with bandages that wrap around her chest. She also wears her Zanpaktou on the left side of her waist, and always keeps it with her. In battle though, if she gets serious for the fight, she takes off half of her robe to let her move more easily and faster.

History: She was born in the Rukongai district with her twin brother. Their parents abandoned when they they looked to be about a child's age and they were together ever since. Her brother and her personality clashes. She was always quiet and shy while he was loud and impulsive, always willing to jump into a brawl. Her brother used to protect her from everything that would have harmed her, from people to even shinigamis if needed.

When she was a teen, she saw a group of shinigamis running toward the district while she was walking around to just explore a little more outside of the district. They were talking about a hollow that fled near the place the siblings lived. It seemed that the hollow was first sighted in the forest, but as it was attacked by the shinigami it started to flee towards the rukongai district, with the shinigamis hot on is trail.

Alarmed by this, she went back to the house quickly just to witnessed the injured hollow attacking her brother while he tried to get some of the other younger kids away. Her brother was trying to fight it back with a piece of wood, which he dropped when the hollow knocked him aside. Without thinking, she threw a rock at the hollows head to distract it. It worked, it stared to chase her sine it could sense some reiatsu from her. She ran back to the shinigami and they quickly got rid of it, much to her relief. Her brother was alright, thankfully, but he couldn't speak as well as he used to.

The shinigamis then tried to recruit her into the academy, which at first she was hesitant, but joined when her brother told her too. He gave her a small charm to wish her good luck and to hopefully protect her.

Skills: She has very good Shunpo skills, as well as being able to move silently and fast. Despite her small size she is able to hold her own well against bigger hollows or even people by beating them with her speed and agility.
Shiro is also an expert in her Hado skills mainly, since to use her Zanpaktou she needed a good rieatsu control so she used her Kido training to help with that.
Unlike most Shinigamis, she chooses to work alone since she feels that others get in the way of her fighting style and she would have to worry about them dying.

She doesn't like her Zanpaktou's released form, only a handful of people have seen it, mostly captains. She feels that her shikai doesn't match her as well as it should have.

Abilities: She has high speed and stamina, which is useful for her shunpo skills. She also has good sword skills, able to hold her own against other shinigamis and hollows. Despite her lithe form, she is quite strong for a woman, but not stronger then most men.
She has sharp eyes, able to see when something moves slightly.

Spirit Description: Spirit
Her spirit looks like a snow white fox with three tails. On it's back, there are pure white wings that have feathers instead of fur that is soft to touch. The fox is about a medium dog size. They meet at on a cliff that gives a perfect view of the moon.

Shikai Description: "Sing and Purify, Ten No Uta!"

The first thing that changes is the size. Her sword changes from a traditional katana to a regular sized flute. Despite its size though, it still can cut deeply like a Katana can but its range is seriously decreased. It may look wooden, but it is as hard and sharp as a sword is. When held up to her lips, it said that the air grows colder and colder, which is her reiatsu as it starts to perform notes she uses.

Shikai Abilities:
The flute, when played can be use as a far reaching or silent tactic. It uses sounds waves and air pressure to shatter things into dust. It works well on weaker hollow. On a higher level hollow, it has the ability to burst their eardrums so their hearing sense is gone if this does happen.
While blowing the flute, a blast of condensed sound and reiatsu is fired out of the flute once played.

Bankai Description:
Sing and purify, call to the heavens, Ten no seinaru!

Silver armor appears and wraps around her arms that hold the flute. With this attachment to her, it allows the flute's sound to be heard farther and wider range. It also amplifies the sound so it is more powerful then before, which can easily destroy a gillion level class by shattering it's mask to dust. The flute also grows slightly longer, so it has more range to cut if needed.

Bankai Abilities:
Along with her greater range, she is able to fight close combat as well. Her gauntlets are sharpened into claws so she can easily fight with those or her flute. The shikai abilities are still in effect, so she has the ability to burst someone's eardrum still if they listen to the playing for an extended period of time.
The attack that changes a bit is the previous ability which was to shoot a condensed sound with rieatsu. It changes by taking the form and attacking as a sound wave then in the shikai attack. This allows the rieatsu to be seen once again to signal the attack.

While playing her flute, depending on her melody she plays it can result in these skills:

-Rhapsody: A blast of sound waves at the enemy, it can hit them back and away from her or cut into the flesh if she plays sharp.
-Stacatto: Fast blasts of sound that are played sharp of blades of wind.
-Legato: Slower speed, but more accurate blades that are sent to the enemy.
-Symphonic: Blasts of sound appears around her as orbs, and each are used to float around her. These orbs can be shot towards the opponent, or used to block attacks and keep distance around her.
-Sound wall-She blows a continuous note, holding it to create a barrier around herself or people. The more wider it is, the weaker it gets.
-Presto:A fast tempo, when played it allows her to send fast blast of sound at the opponent.
-Procession: A fast peice on the flute that involve high notes and low notes, it allows the sound waves to easily be heard and with each note the opponent hears it messes up there sight even more until they are unable to see straight. This has the ability, when heard to cause halluciations of things like there may be four of her, since the main point of this skill is to mess with the person's mind and scramble their brain waves.

So my grammar isn't alright sweatdrop Sorry about that.
Also I edited the history so the shinigamis are in a group, and the hollow was spotted in the forest at first but it ran towards the rokungai district once it started to get attacked.

Anyways, Nice idea for the Zanpakuto. I've seen it done before, but never well. It seems half-decent at first read.

Anyways, I just want to throw some science in to intermingle with this magic. It's how Bleach guilds tend to work.
-- Sound, in the end, can't really affect other senses. You cite " Messing with brain waves " here. Unlike common belief, signals in the brain don't act like " waves. " They are simply called that for appearance. How it REALLY works is a series of chemical changes happening in massive succession, so fast, that it's only recently that this information has occurred to us. Mixed with some nifty ' electricity ', in layman's terms, things like nerves and senses can be attuned. Sound, however, does not have the true ability to mess with the brain's signals farther than hearing is concerned.
For that reason, I ask you to please delete the portion about sight effects from your Zanpakuto, unless you plan on providing some sort of secondary power to the zanpakuto itself.

With the science done, we can get straight to business.

Instantly shattering an opponent's eardrum is a bit of a godmode, if you don't mind my saying. The eardrums affect more than just hearing, mind you. They also mess with balance and equilibrium. Not many people know this little tidbit of information, so I don't think you outright meant the ability to be seen as such.
I suggest adding stipulation to the ability of shattering an eardrum. It could be in the actual form of an attack, visible as sound waves laden with reiatsu. To achieve the great power required to actually ******** up someones eardrums in such a way, it would need to be a directed attack. The best example I can provide would be simple. In shikai, your character would blow the flute, and from the open end, a blast of condensed sound and reiatsu would be fired out. However, in Bankai, this could change to creating a central attack, which would act more like a sound wave. However, it would still have to be visible. In both forms of the same technique, it would of course require the reishi-laden sound to be somewhat slower than normal sound waves.

That's pretty much the only problems I see. Sound techniques are a very finicky thing. I think for a first try ( I assume here ), you did very well. Good job on ya' mate.

Sorry for not being online, I've been bsy because school has started once again. (.>.<) Anyway, I changed it a bit and sorry for not doing it sooner. I deleted the sight effects and changed the attacks to match what you posted on your explanation. Hopefully it's alright. sweatdrop
