I don't know if I posted about my dinner (which was last Saturday) but we went out to Fuji San which is like the most delicious Hibachi place to celebrate me getting le job.

Sooo, I started my new job this Thursday which is literally the best job ever. I'm working at Binghamton University's Libraries as a Resource Sharing Assistant in the Interlibrary Loan dept. If you're not familiar with ILL, it's basically a way for libraries to share their books/media/articles/etc with other libraries. There's a lending side (send your books to other schools) and a sharing side (receive books from other schools). Obvs I'm working the sharing side. I have a list of duties but basically we're there to take care of requests, troubleshoot issues (which are also frequent) and make sure things are getting places asap. I also get to supervise student(s), join committees, go to meetings, email/phone lots...etc. But I have my own cube area =D
A little back story, I've been working for the library since I was a Freshman, so pretty much a lot of people know me there. I meet with my supervisor first (who's pretty much been my sup. for 4 years already) and she takes me to my desk and it's all decorated with confetti and a Congratulations sign is hung across it ;-; SO NICE
Later that morning my sup. calls a quick meeting in one of the halls and a lady made like a super pretty chocolate cake and it said "Welcome Elise" ;-; SO NICE xINFINITY
I've spent most of my time reading/learning new things which is super fun. And there's a booksale going on in the near future (it's a yearly thing at the Uni) and one of my co-workers in the Acquisitions/Gifts Dept gave me a fancy Japanese book that's about Korean cooking. So yay.

Anyway, that's pretty much all the super exciting things. ALSO
Ya'll should try Angry Orchard cider (tis alcoholic)
It's pretty delicious.
tl;dr I have an awesome job and friends and drink Angry Orchard sometime.
