Bio:Born the oldest of twins to Jezebel Joy, to the nurse joy of Goldenrod and Takashi Saotome, a student at the Pokémon Jujitsu Academy. Jessi had a fairly normal childhood. Because Joys keep their maiden name, Jessi and her sister went by her mother's last name. Both her and her twin took classes at the Academy as children where Jessi exeled in health and nutrition classes but wasn't as good in battle techniques. She loved to help her mother at the center as much as she loved spending time with her father helping him get the pokemon ready for class. She was terrified of her twin. But that's another story for another time.
Turning 14 both twins were given a chance to choose where to study, receiving letters from several competing Academies. Jessi chose Arceus Academy while her twin chose to study elsewhere. She received a Treecko as her starter from her father who had traveled to Hoenn to get new pokemon for a lesson. She named him Thistle.
Her mother passed away in a fire halfway trough her second year, caused by some grunts who had used arson to cover their stealing.
Now on her last year she is trying to decide between medicine, or teaching. She has not seen her twin in three peaceful years, not even when her mother passed away.
Personality: Like most Joys Jessi is easy going and amiable. Unless she sees someone misreating a pokemon. She forgives easily if wronged and will always try to look out for her friends. She is patient but has a stubborn streak that can come out when you least expect it.
