the only assassins i play are XZ, Kha Zix, and Talon, but i always have trouble knowing what to build first.
i start off boots and 3 pots, but after that idk what to do. xD

Xin Zhao isn't a true assassin, he is a bruiser. An assassin is typically a champion who doesn't engage and goes in to burst down his/her target then retreat. Builds are dependent on the champion but their builds don't tend to change.
My Talon build is: 2 Blood Thirsters, Merc Treds, Yomus, Trinity Force and a GA or even a Maw.
As an assassin you want to rush for damage over sustain.

I know that seems weird but its true.
