I've always had this deep seeded feeling that ___ (insert your religious...thing.. (God, etc) has given up. With all of the things that happen in the world does it seem like someone has his back turned on us all?

i don't think that the god turn away from us...i think that in our hearts we turn from them. if you feel that way, take a day to meditate. go somewhere where you wont be bothered, nature or some other sould inspiring place. keep it in mind not to talk for the whole day, your thoughts will turn inward and you should find answers. heart

Well, as Sylver said, it is us who turn our back on them. We leave them. It is great that you're questioning though, it leads to growth. 3nodding

mmmm. I belive in balance. Things like war, and murder are just meant to balance out the world. To many humans, so nature must cull the herd as it were.

The gods don't abandon us. Most humans just aren't paying them their dues anymore. If you look around you...pay attention to your surroundings, you'll notice things. Just sit next to a plant, close your eyes and face it. If you focus enough, you'll see the life force inside of it. A faint glow in the shape of the plant. Things like that wouldn't be possible without the gods. Such beauty found in such a small thing...
...they haven't left.
