FAQ
1. Why does Hima hardly ever have her tails out?Unlike Jr., who was raised to be himself, Hima grew up in a racist society that didn't appreciate her foxy bits. She's never completely recovered even after all this time.
2. What exactly is Hima's real name? That is complicated because there is more than one answer. Alright, so here's the deal:
Her first name is Narinia and her middle is Himawari. Her last name, however is up for debate. The human last name the people in her clan used was MacDouglas, her actual clan name was Altyr, and the last name she earned was Dragonfire. Additionally she was once married to a Romano, but that didn't end well so we won't count that.
3. Where did Sakura come from then?Her mother's name was Himawari Sakura.
4. How does Hima know Wesley?Hima and Wesley met in Paris in the 1870s (E-1). He ran a theater and invited her to be an actress there. They've been best friends ever since.
5. Weren't they... You know?Yes, yes. Hima and Wesley were extra friendly from about the 1970s until he disappeared around 2000 (Earth-1 time). They were old and lonely, I can't blame them for finding finding some companionship.
6. Why can Hima speak any language?Every kitsune is born with a "gift" and it's a trait left over from their divine ancestors. Hima's is "tongues". Once she hears an unfamiliar language being spoken her brain begins to act as sort of a universal translator.
7. Are there any languages she can't speak?Nonsense languages, infernal tongues, and some more beastly languages either can't be learned through this ability or she lacks the ability to replicate the sounds naturally.
8. How limited is her shape-shifting compared to a full-blooded E-1 kitsune?Hima can only look human, have elven ears, have fox ears and tail(s), anthro form, normal fox, "dire fox", and foxfire elemental form. Full-blooded ones can drastically change their appearance similar to the abilities of demons and devils.
9. Why did Hima leave the X-Fleet?She needed to get away from Vexx and Riketz for a while. She had no intentions of joining the Adventure Fleet at the time she left.
10. Where does Hima live right now?Though Naio was going to harbor her at the shop she's actually renting a house outside of town. She needed enough room for her troop of misfits. (Hima's current "roommates" include: Wesley, Bewsh, Davi, Sindira, Jr., and Butters the balafo.)
11. Were Vexx and Hima sleeping together like everyone said?No. Hima and Vexx have never had sex, much to their displeasure. They were doing their best to stay just friends
