Karakura Community Park (空座 ふれあい公園, karakura fureai kōen) is the location of a laundry list of minor skirmishes, both in the canon storyline, the anime series, and in more than one OVA or movie. It's a relatively unexciting location, as far as generic parks go. There are a number of trees and the occasional open meadow. A small retention pond is located in it's northern region. Otherwise, the only other notable traits are as follows:

-during the fall, citizens hold a festival to walk under the autumn leaves in the western sector.
-the park is notable for its exquisite abundance of naturally-blossoming cherry trees.
-due to location, the park is very popular with adults, high school students, and especially middle school students.
-it is not uncommon to see a game of soccer here.

Karakura Community Park is not to be confused with the smaller Tsubakidai Park (椿台公園, tsubakidai kōen).

I can see blood all over my hands.
The longer you lay next to me, the further I ran.

Dante finally came to his senses, all he could remember was being flung through the air and the darkness. He lifted himself off the dirty concrete of the alleyway. Some how in his unconscious state his spiritual pressure had been concealed from any enemies, or worse, prowling Hollows. He was ready to go back to the Sereitei, make some pasta, grab a bottle of wine, and rest. Unfortunately, he couldn't remember where the Senkaimon was and he didn't know how to make his own, "Dannazione, I just want to leave!" Dante wondered through the streets a blistering head ache, hoping to somehow stumble on the damned Senkaimon. He ended up in the Town's Park.

What's it all worth? How much can you stand?
The longer you stay close to me, the further I ran.

Strange face, with your eyes
So pale and sincere
Underneath, you know well
You have nothing to fear

Saza was pensive; she had hairs on her neck standing on end and the prickling sensation would only remind her that something odd was happening. There was a shift occurring in the realms-she could feel it. The air was somehow...electric.

Electric. That word had her thinking back, had her making connections and drawing conclusions. She needed to speak to the elementals, perhaps one more than the other, nevermind that this reunion was long-overdue. Five years. To a nearly immortal being, it was the merest whisper of time passing, but to those whom were more mortal, it could stretch long into the distance. Saza's nose wrinkled as she contemplated what she might have forced her young friend to endure and the apology she probably owed.

I wonder how she's grown?

Her tits are probably bigger, Hacchan chimed in, musing gently.

Shut up.

Saza grunted, letting go of the thick bough she clung to and letting herself slowly swing back until she was suspended by her knees, high above the grass and damp earth with all its small, crawly things living within. Her unorthodox hairstyle let gravity take it earthward while her arms crossed resolutely over her chest. Saza forced herself to breathe, despite her posture and waited calmly. She'd decided to don a gigai, tailored to her needs. It looked similar, without sacrificing mortal fashion. Same ragged black cap of hair, same twinned hanks, however these were secured by a series of elastic bands, forming an even pattern the length of them. She wore denim jeans, now, which were dyed a deep blue with a stylized hoodie in warm tones and high-tops. She'd managed to get hold of sunglasses identical to her usual pair, but had to make due with what she could to hide her ink.

This shouldn't be a long or eventful visit, but she came prepared to make show if exactly the wrong bloke came calling. In the meantime, Saza occupied herself with waiting in her tree and rehearsing, likely in vain, how to get across what needed saying. The letter she'd left Chiyo had been too vague to take much from on purpose. If the wrong sort found it, prospects would be altogether more ugly. If Chiyo chose to ignore it, that would put a damper in things: Saza really didn't want to hoof it to the shrine as she had other business to attend to in the city. Plus, the trek itself was a bit of a pain, as she knew from her first trip there.

Where is she?

"Let the rain wash away what I've done."

It was really strange, recieving a letter such as this, Sasz having called her to the city was one thing; the girl understood she had other arrangments, but it had been five years. What could she possibly need from me after so many years? I guess i should hope for the best; who knows maybe she just wants to catch up and have fun, but then again it could be business. The woman was nervous to say the least; it wasn't from all the eye watching her due to some being guys liking her looks or wondering why she was dressed so oddly, but for some reason meeting her friend brought with it a strange sensation. The sensation was like static in the back of her mind, always there and always faintly noticed. The woman, Chiyo Amaya, was dress in her shrine clothes. She never really came into the city often, but every so often she'd make the long trip to gather supplies for her family in case there small farm didn't produce what they needed to survive or rather it couldn't.

After exiting the train she made her way, slowly, on foot just to take in the sights around her. The wind was getting colder and the feel of autumn was in the air, but surprisingly it was a season that Chiyo enjoyed thoroughly. The beautiful scenery of the leaves changing slowly enough to make them almost seem as if they were on fire, yet that time of season was still a few weeks away. As she entered the park that was described where to come to by her friend she was stopped being a man with red hair that started saying odd things to her, and obviously being as dense as she was they flirty comments went well over her head. The man was adamant in his flirting but she told him that she had to be on her way and continued forward. Without really paying attention the man started following behind her at a distance to keep trying later.

Hmm, where is she? Calls me out for such a long walk and doesn't bother to even show? Well I guess i should try calling her and waiting a bit before leaving... Yeah, why not? Taking a deep breath Chiyo simply screamed out at the top of her lungs, "Saza!!!! Where Are You?!?!?!"

At the demanding klaxon coming, somehow, from behind her, Saza damn near pissed herself. Reflexively, in a moment of terror, she "unhooked" her legs. They straightened and she fell like a rock earthward. Through the decent, she managed to flip, making a near-disaster altogether more graceful. She landed and bent her knees, mindful of the frailties of the construct she wore like a second skin. Were she not in the gigai, doubtless the earth would have more to worry about.

Saza stuffed her hands in her jacket's pockets then sidled around the tree, leading with her feet, and trailing with her shoulders. Somewhere on the other side was an elemental whom she sorely missed. Sure enough, shrine clothes never failed at being attention-grabbing. She grinned and closed the distance with a quick jog, not wanting a repeat of that deafening klaxon.

They are bigger! Hacchan crowed. Saza gave him the mental version of a stink eye.

Don' be a pervert, I dun wanna hafta 'splain it ta 'er, she warned. In the back of her mind, her Zan only mumbled incoherently about being a facet of her, and therefore sharing her mannerisms.

"'M right 'ere, ya crazy loudmouth!" she laughed good-humoredly and pantomimed trying to "dig" something out of her ear. "Lookit, see? Ah've gone deaf!"

When she drew close, Saza dropped the joke though she kept grinning and glancing over the maiden before her. Chiyo looked healthy which was always a welcome sight. Her skin was smooth with little in the war to mar it. She stood tall under her own power and  looked proud and mature.

"Ye're so tall," she gasped, craning her head back as she approached. "'M gon' 'ave a crick in m'neck by time I git goin'."

Despite the complaint nestled in the statement, Saza smiled good-humoredly, her eyes-as always-hidden. "So how've ya been?"

"Let the rain wash away what I've done."

Chiyo watched as a young looking woman ran up to her, causing a big smile to appear on her face. Sasz was still the same, even her strange way of speaking. When the girl complained about her size she couldn't help but blush a little and laugh at the same time because Sasz was the same height as her when they met for the first time. Chiyo couldn't suppress the laughter in her voice as she spoke, so when doing so the amusement seemed audible. "Oh, I've been quite well Saza-sama. I mean aside from the few door frames I've ran into getting here all has been relatively quiet. Though I must say you are truly quite lucky to be small. people keep looking at me cause I'm so tall, it's rather annoying, ya know?" She was obviously returning the complaint a bit just to have some fun, though she hoped Saza wouldn't take it to heart and be offended by what she said

Chiyo couldn't take it any longer and she knelt down and swung her arms around her friend tightly. She had missed her so much over the years; growing up away from another soul she didn't have many friends, so when Saza sent her the letter it was almost like her lonely and sad little life just swelled up and shattered with excitement and longing for someone to talk to other then family. To her family was a nice thing to have, but they couldn't replace the feeling she got from a friend.
"So what's up? How've ya been Saza-sama? You're looking so well, my gosh, it seemsed so long ago that i've been able to see you. Oh and why not come and see me instead of making me come to the city?"

The shrine maiden was never one to mince words with anyone, being raised to tell the truth she had never truly lied to anyone in her entire life, and she was happy to be able to say honest things only. Sure, she wasn't brain-dead, and knew that sometimes telling the truth caused pain to another, yet at the same time she felt that regardless people deserved more so than not to know the whole truth.

Saza giggled with delight as she listened to the simple admission of clumsiness from her young but valued friend. Chiyo was still mildly self-effacing and adorable just as she had been in youth. It grew into a crow as she was wrapped in a hug. Saza would have lifted the taller elemental high, likely leaving the earth for a moment as she did, but she opted for just wrapping her own arms around the other and keeping her own feet firmly planted. Chiyo was in the air for a smattering of seconds, and Saza kept her own strength easily in check so as to not hurt her. The effort needed was minimal; even limited by the construct she wore, Saza had the experience necessary to be inhumanly powerful. She stepped back, the smile now morphing further as even her eyes shut, screwed up with joy.

"I look well? Lookit yew! Ye're like a whole new person! I almost didn' rec-nize ya!" She crossed her arms and shook her head, as if privately bemused by something. "Le's take a walk."

Saza began to meander in the direction of the retention pond. She didn't push the conversation, but rather mused over the past and how it felt to be reunited with one of the few people she genuinely cared about. Chiyo was grown, and now she towered nearly a foot over the shinigami. Without seeing Saza's aged and tired eyes, anyone would assume she was the younger of the pair. The height difference threw this into sharp relief. Chiyo was no longer a child-how could Saza draw that conclusion? She'd had difficulty doing so even when her friend actually had been a child. And now, rather than a ten-year-old girl, Saza walked beside a grown woman. It made her regret letting the last few years slip by. It also brought back the familiar thoughts of an old woman fixated on time and its passage.

"An' walk 'round in the woods all day? No thanks," she joked. "'Sides, I think ya need ta experience this fer yerself. Can't ya sense it? Things've gotten tricky lately. 'Member that treaty th'Gotei has wi' Las Noches? Th'one what keeps th' two sides from fightin'? It fell apart jus' a few days ago.

"Natcherly th'Gotei's upping patrols out here, which means there'll be more shinigami an' hollows roundabouts. Ya need ta be extra careful. Th'shinigami are a bit jumpy right now, an' ya know how hollows are."

"Let the rain wash away what I've done."

Chiyo simply watched as Saza teared up in front of her and couldn't help but happily smile at the emotion she was displaying. The dotting was fun, she had to admit that, but if she didn't stop soon her ego would swell from it. "Oh, come now, I'm not That different from how i was back then. Besides all this dotting is going to give me a swelled ego Saza-sama."

As Saza suggested they go for a lil' walk the woman simply ignored the comment about getting lost in the woods surrounding her home. Chiyo walked with her for a while before they began to speak, she just enjoyed the company. The sky was clear to be sure, but she could still feel something in the back of her mind bubbling. "What do you believe I need to experience first hand, master? And how did it fall apart. I mean i knew it wasn't going to last an eternity, but for this short amount of time?"
That was most unsettling news, and it also meant that she'd now have to up her own security at the shrine, if anything for her families safety. Obviously they wouldn't know about it, but she still felt it best that way.

"I guess what i should be saying is, do you think there is anything that i can do to help you? Saza-sama, is my best friend in the worlds, and as such I wanna help her in ways that i can."
What she spoke was the truth, being unable to tell a lie much at all. Chiyo had kept walking with her, but at the same time she really wanted to express her reserves about what she was being told by her friend and master. Unbeknownst to her though, the aura/feeling her reaitsu gave off was betraying her need to hide it greatly. If that weren't enough her face had become very worried in expression.

Saza grabbed up a fallen branch from the tamed brush as they came closer to their destination. It was relatively bare with smooth, grainy bark and whip-thin proportions. In other words, it was little more than a glorified twig. However, it made a lovely and agreeable humming noise as Saza cut a few experimental swathes through the air. She tested it for balance and weight with a few light passes. Underneath the playful bout of swings and parries with invisible foes was an orchestrated beauty. Though she held it in jest and played off the display as little more than the idolatry of one in the throes of youth, Saza moved with the well-adjusted finesse of one whom is practiced in the art of war.

She placed a hand across her chest on her shoulder, adjusting something while she spoke. "Naw, ye're still young, an' o' th'two of us, far more mortal. So o'course I gotta dote on ya. Years are nothin' t'me, but everythin' ta you."

She slowed, having moved ahead in her short frolic, and allowed Chiyo to draw level again. The twiggy branch now hung from her hand, dragging through the dusty topsoil and catching ineffectually on grass and weeds. The soft smile was slipping. Saza rarely allowed herself to slow to this severity, but Chiyo had been important to her since meeting her, and now she was set to sit smack in the middle of a blood feud Saza had long since resigned herself to. It wasn't fair to place on one so young, and Saza had been actively trying to prevent it for the last five years.

"'at treaty was made three hunnerd years ago wi' High Clark. It kept 'im an' 'is lot in Hueccy 'n us out. So long as it held, we didn't need ta fight," she began, reiterating the history of the treaty from a lesson long since passed. "The small fry we didn't mind so much, but th'other day a small horde o' hollow stormed Karakura, wi' High hisself an' a few o' his Espada leadin' th'charge. Clearly th'b*****d's sick o' playin' nice. Six Captains an' some seats were dispatched ta deal with it. Things turned fighty, fast.

"I'm sure ya felt some o' that, though,"
she continued. "Ya c'n prob'ly feel it now. There's a shitstorm brewin' 'ere. Ye're gonna need ta keep ya head down 'til s**t blows over. Someone might spot ya."

They were almost upon the pond. The soil was getting moist and darker as they progressed. "But there might be a chance for ya ta help, if things keep goin' th'way I think they will."

"Let the rain wash away what I've done."

Chiyo simply got a confused look about her face when she told her how she had to dote on her, but it hardened into a more serious expression as she started explaining the treaty that had been and of the being whom had cause its breakdown. So in other words this Clark guy couldn't take the days where battle no longer ensued anymore, and for lack of a better rational thought, started up his legion of monsters again. Lovely, ego-maniacal warlord coming to destroy the world and my only friend, and what does she tell me to do? Sit under a table with my hands over my head. I guess, I am still a child to her...
Slowly, they made their way over to the pond and sat at the edge of the water. Placing her fingertips in the cold water, Chiyo had to think for a brief moment before replying to Saza. The girl spoke calmly and of a softer tone to her master more to show she wasn't worried, "If I may, where do you see this course of action taking us in the future? Also, if that's truly the case, how would I be able to help you? I know you said i cant go to the Seireitei, but what sort of plans do they have set in motion for this world in case this crisis becomes a global problem? Surely there are counter-measures in place for such an ill-fated destiny?"

Lestat appeared a short distance away from the park itself, in a wisp of lightning and crackling energy, he had felt the spiritual signature of Saza and then proceeded to make his way towards her, but what most intrigued him was the other energy signature that was with her, one so similar to his own, could it be? that now he would finally be in the presence of another elemental, he only relished in the thought of it as he made his way into the line of sight of both women...,

Senkaimon Doors opened up in the park behind cover, trees, bushes & from human view, the doors sliding open revealing a rather small figure floating in the light. The figure looked like a simple floating egg, or a shadow of one as it quickly hovered away to the trees as the doors shut and Senkaimon vanishing. In the tree overlooking a pathway with a vast field before it, the Head Captain remained in the tree looking to the field where one would play soccer. His eyes were glaring as he came here to hunt enemies as he sat in his floating chair, the feline rather odd in coming here but since there were two arrancar and others here he didnt mind putting his plans to use.
'My presence will be a whisper to them .. if they hear it .. I'll show no mercy' he thought as he kept a rather tight grip on his blade that rested in his lap. He was in his chair that was just above a branch with humans below walking along a path well hidden in the leaves that surrounded him in the park.
Why was he here?

Slowly out of line
And drifting closer in your sights
So play it out I’m wide awake
It’s a scene about me
There’s something in your way
And now someone is gonna pay
And if you can’t get what you want
Well it’s all because of me

Now dance, ********, dance
Man, I never had a chance
And no one even knew
It was really only you

Dante became rigid all of a sudden, he could just barely make out two Arrancar's spiritual pressure and one other though he couldn't make out whom it was. Dante turned and looked up to see the remnants of a Garganta closing, "Oy Sono pronto a partire, but I half to deal with them!" he thought to himself, using his thumb he exposed the base of his blade. Dante flashstepped coming at Carmellia's back his Zanpakuto drawn.

And now you’ll lead the way
Show the light of day
Nice work you did
You’re gonna go far, kid
Trust, deceived!

With a thousand lies
And a good disguise
Hit ‘em right between the eyes
Hit ‘em right between the eyes

When you walk away
Nothing more to say
See the lightning in your eyes
See ‘em running for their lives
