For the past year or so (since i've joined the Young Marines, don't worry it's a youth group) I've been trying to eat healthier. I've asked my mom to try cooking with brown or wild rice (which I love<3) and she did try, but she says it takes too long to cook. She's gone back to using white rice, which lacks the same amount of nutrients that whole grains have. However, I have to live with this because I can't really cook for myself.
So, is white rice REALLY really bad, or just worse than whole grains because it lacks two of the three parts of a whole grain?
