Listen up everyone, we are to plan the menu for the cafe because we want to make some freebies that will be pixel images of food on the menu. (Robayn said so not me) Im doing it for the fun of it and that i may get to boss people around a bit biggrin We will have 2 menus one for breakfast and one for lunch.+ one for drinks (coffees, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.) ;D

Also, since it's a Comic place, we could keep going with Alias' idea and think of some superhero themed menu items!
Read my 2nd post and preferably the rest of my post on the first page. So lets get started!As this was only a discussion thread i feel like it has fulfilled its purpose and may it act as a inspiration to whomever is constructing the menu for the 4 Color Cafe. Rules when thinking about the menu is 1, No fat or greasy food, we don't want smudges on the comic books. 2, When you suggest specialties please have a motivation or a connection with the name of the cafe. 3,We will have 2 menus one for breakfast and one for lunch so think about both and the specialty of one menu don't need to be the same on the other. Suggestions will be put here:Drinks:Flavored ice teas and lemonades Hot teas Hot chocolate flavored coffees Coffee Espresso Caffè latte and all other normal kinds of coffee The MJ: A White and Dark mocha The Dark Lord: Dark Chocolate mocha Jostled Gandhi: Chai with Espresso Black Forest: Mocha with Cherry Syrup Cakes and cookies:muffins cupcakes cakes pastries Other food:Deli sandwiches salads pastas grilled chicken with choices waffle bar with assorted toppings Specialties: (suggestions) Pinko Sacredheart White chocolate raspberry cookies. White chocolate cookies with a dob of raspberry jam placed on top in the middle and drizzled with more white chocolate. Heavenly when served warm. Whats get chosen of the suggestions in the specialty section here is entirely up to the owner A Glass Passenger

Food is a passion for me, just a hobby though, i am to lazy to work with food. And i have been getting more comfortable in the guild so soon ill start reading the other committees subforums and take more responsibility. I got Captain glass his coffe when he asked for it biggrin and i got a rose back. I will try my best to support the ball.

I want 4 Specialties of the cafe, maybe more
One Coffee blend
(Maybe the owners special blend?)
One tea blend
One Cake,Cookie or dessert
One dish of food
Remember to keep the name of the cafe in mind when thinking about the Specialties.

Specialty is 1 dish or drink a shop is renown for so they are important for making an impression on the customers and for the shops reputation.

and specialties has special names and looks often based on the shops name.
Too many specialties would destroy the effect and only make the items normal menu items.

Oooooh I misunderstood. I thought you were only going to offer like 1 coffee, tea, and cake/cookie xD I have an idea for a cookie :3 I used to make them all the time and they're SO good♥

My favorite cafe back in college, which was closing around the time I left, gave fun names to many of their drinks, and even came up with some of their own. My favorites included:
The MJ: A White and Dark mocha
The Dark Lord: Dark Chocolate mocha
Jostled Gandhi: Chai with Espresso
Black Forest: Mocha with Cherry Syrup
They also had a special midnight waffle bar that ran 12am-2am with assorted toppings! mrgreen
