Welcome Aekeans to the first Aekea Town Hall Spirit Week!! *throws confetti everywhere*
If you've never done a spirit week before it's simple. Each day will be a different theme that one of your fellow Aekeans chose. On that day, you dress up your avie for that day that goes with the theme. You do not have to dress up for each day. You can choose to do certain days or you can do all seven days. Each day, you have a chance of winning 30k! But you only get to win for one day. The more days you dress up for and enter the contest for that day, the better your chances will be for the 30k of that day! I will look at every entry and decide who gets the 30k for the day of that theme. Seven lucky people will walk away with 30k!
Rules
The key word in all of this is RESPECT.
 1. Do not complain about the themes.
- These themes were chosen by your fellow Aekeans. If you don't want to do a day, you don't have too. Show respect for the person who wanted the theme and don't say things like, "This theme is stupid" or anything like that..
2. Do not make fun of other people's avies.
- Some people don't have all the shiny items you have to make an avie. Some people worked really hard on these avies. Show some respect.
3. Don't go spending 100k on items to dress for a certain theme.
- Spirit week is all about working with what you have. I don't want to hear people complain about them spending thousands of gold on an avie and only winning ((Or not winning)) 30k. If you want to buy something you can, but don't come complaining to me. If you need to add something to an avie, I suggest looking in the gold shops. Sometimes the smallest thing makes an avie a whole lot better. But before you go buying things, work with what you have first.
4. Don't go causing bullshit.
- I don't want to see people arguing over anything or causing trouble in my thread. If I see anyone causing trouble, you will first receive a warning, then you will receive a second warning and you will not be allowed to enter in any of the contests ((You can still dress up, but any submissions you make for the contest will be over looked)). By the third time, I will ask that you leave the thread and find something else to do in the guild. We don't need someone in here to cause trouble when everyone here just wants to have fun.
5. If you wish to enter the contest for that theme day, you must include a tektek, and the tektek must include all items you are wearing.
- Don't go making an avie in tektek and then enter it when you are not wearing it nor do you have any of the items equipped on it. If tektek does not have any of the new items yet and that item is part of your avie, just let me know. I know Gaia layering and Tektek layering are not the same, that is ok. If you do not post a tektek in your post, I will assume you are not entering for the contest.
- You don't have to put a description or anything unless you want to. Someone with a description vs someone without a description have equal chances. :3 But those who wish to put a description are welcome to be creative. ouo
6. Have Fun!
- Simple as that. This is a chance to get creative with your avies. Chat with your fellow Aekeans, compliment each other's creative skills, or even ask your fellow Aekeans to critique your avies. Ask me and I'll even be happy enough to suggest a few things if needed. ouob

Day 2, Monday September 17: Innocence Day X
Day 3, Tuesday September 18: Apocalyptic attire X
Day 4, Wednesday September 19:Sexy Time X
Day 5, Thursday September 20: Prom Night X
Day 6, Friday September 21: Cross Dresser X
Day 7, Saturday September 22: Limit Day X
Day 8, Sunday September 23, Bonus Day: Aekean Pride X
* Day one: Robotics Day - Dress your avie up like a robot/cyborg/Mecha! Grab your mechanical limbs and tighten your bolts, we're being robots for a day!
* Day two: Innocence Day - Be the embodiment of innocence. Angelic, show no evils on your avie. You're all little angels.
* Day three: Apocalyptic Attire - Whether you're prepared for the apocalypse, surviving the apocalypse, Being attacked, or being killed. You decide the apocalypse! Zombie attacks, Aliens attack, you name it! Are you ready for the apocalypse?
* Day four: Sexy Time - Open up the bottle of wine, light the candles and set the mood, it's Sexy Time! Or if you're not into that kind of thing, you can always grab your whips and put on those leather boots and show your dominate side. *cracks whip* wink
* Day five: Prom Night - Grab your tuxes, and get your dresses ready, it's time for Prom! Did you get a date for prom? Hope no one spills punch on you! >_<
* Day six: Cross Dresser - Every man in there life imagines what it'd be like to wear a dress or skirt at least once. Now is that chance. If you are a male, you will try to look at female as you possibly can. Girls, You will try to look as manish as you possibly can. Just make sure you go in the right bathroom.
* Day seven: Limit Day - You are only allowed to use 2 items in each category in your invo. Two Hat items, two Tops, Two Bottoms, One Shoe ((Only exception cause....you can't wear two shoes XD)), Two Accessories, And two Items. In total, you are going to be wearing 11 items only. No more no less. Think, how can you make an avie with limited items?
NOTE: When submitting your avie for this day's contest, please say which items were from which tab so I know you meet the requirements along with your tektek. ouo
Example:
Hats: Peter's Youth, Night Weaver
Tops: Mascherato, Black Sleeveless Silk Top
Bottoms: Fremere's Guard, September Birthstone Anklets
Shoes: Coal Black Thigh-High Boots
Acc: Masquerade, Black Medical Mask
Items: S-Pop Club: Rayna, Yuki Otoko
* Day Eight: Aekean Pride - Dress in your best Aekean attire. Show some spirit and put on the black and white. Who ever shows the most spirit will be leaving with 100k!
Contests rules still apply. Entries must be submitted from 12:00 AM through 11:59PM. Must include a tektek of your avie or we will assume you are not partaking in the contest.
Contest
Prize: 30k each day
If you wish to enter the contest, you have from 12:00 AM through 11:59PM PST to post your entry to enter for that day. You cannot post an entry for Day 1 on Day 2. Once Day 2 starts, all submissions for Day 1 will stop, and submissions for Day 2 will begin.
The prizes will be sent on Sunday the 23rd. I will post the winners on the 23rd and prizes will be sent to each winner by our very own Aekean Mascot. ouo.

There will be an extra day for spirit week because our fellow Aekean, Crazybot kema wants to end this with a bang. biggrin

Prizes for the previous days will still be handed out on the 23rd. This is just a way to end Spirit Week with a bang. ouo

Yeah, there's a minor optical illusion, where if you don't look at the cogs directly, they appear to stop moving. I guess the change is minute enough that it needs to be in the fovea for the eye recognise the movement.

I guess the change is minute enough that it needs to be in the fovea for the eye recognise the movement. I tested that out by looking at them and then glancing to the side. That is wicked cool! OwO; Also if I may suggest the theme of Cyborg/Mecha Day? Where you dress your avi to look like a cyborg or robot? Might be a slightly obvious theme for this guild but enjoyed dressing up like that before so I thought it should be in there somewhere^^

Due to the heat, yesterday I got no house work done. D: and I got lazy and played GW2 once the sun went down so I REALLY got nothing down. XDD Now I gotta clean two rooms in about 3 hours in the heat. XD
Do chores before playing GW2.... I learnt not to procrastinate when it's hot as the dickens. gonk
