There are seven floors of each dormitory, one for each year. Once placed, the year will stay in the same room for the remainder of their time at Hogwarts. Each first year group replaces the previous seventh year's. The rooms are round, with windows in each of the compass directions. Surrounding the walls are four-poster beds, with red curtains for privacy. Beside each is a wardrobe and a night stand. In the center is a stove for heat, and s'mores, a muggle treat. It is not recommended to enter other dormitories without permission, though they are all easily accessible. There aren't any enchantments protecting the boys innocence.
