Personality: Eiji is known by his peers as being care free and kind. He can usually be found in his office or under a tree somewhere, reading a book or sleeping. He chooses to avoid conflict whenever he can and sometimes can be like a brother to people. A lot of lower ranked members tend to come to him for advice. Eiji can be a ladies man sometimes as well. Bakudou:
1. Sai (塞, Restrain)
Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.
4. Hainawa (這縄, Crawling Rope)
An energy rope entangles the target's arms.

Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.

Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to #31, but over a wider area and with more power.
54. Haien (廃炎, Abolishing Flames)
Fires a blast of purple spiritual energy that will incinerate a target completely when it makes contact.
90. Kurohitsugi (黒棺, Black Coffin)
Envelops the target with a powerful torrent of gravity that takes the form of a box of black energy, covered in several spear-like protrusions. The spears then pierce the box, lacerating the one inside from head to toe.
Techniques:
1. Hanki (Reverse Demon)
An ability which nullifies an opponent's Kidō by hitting it with another one of perfectly opposite speed and energy. The ability can even neutralize an opponent's movements.
2. Shunpo (Flash Step)
A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. The user forces a stream of energy in front of them, along a path of their choosing, then takes one step into the stream. They are then propelled exceptionally fast through the stream to reappear at the opposite side. Whilst in the stream it is very hard to spot the user's movements unless you are an equal or higher rank. Shunpo can easily be used to almost instantly move from one place to another.
3.Air Walk
The ability to walk on air using spiritual energy. By collecting and solidifying Spiritual Particles beneath their feet, Soul Reapers can gain traction on thin air to either freely move about or to stop themselves from falling. It cannot necessarily be used very often, especially for officers. It is an ability that can only be temporarily used but cannot last for a very long period of time. For Lieutenants however, they can stay on air for quite a bit longer. For captains, it can be held for quite a long while considering the great amount of Reiatsu within a Captain-ranking individual.
4. Idou Senkou (Flash Movement)
This technique is actually quite simple for those who have conditioned their body for high-speed combat movements and have a decent level of control over their Reiatsu. Idou Senkou is a technique that can be used by channeling your Reiatsu through a specific part of the body to increase the muscular reaction impulses so that the user may move that part of the body at speeds that rival Shunpo (Flash Step). This technique can be very tiring to the user because constantly increasing your muscle reactions strains those muscles. Even for those who are used to high speed movement find that this technique should only be used if they are having issues landing a hit on their opponent(s).
5. Senka (Flash Blossom)
Although Shunpo is connected with this ability, this technique possess a unique name and style of its own. This technique is known as Senka (Flash Blossom), a Flash Step combined with a spin to quickly move behind the enemy, followed by a strike aimed to destroy the Saketsu Chain and the Hakusui Soul Sleep with a combination of two quick sword thrusts. This technique is one of the two that Youruichi developed mixing Shunpo to complete its ability. Senka can be performed without the particular sword attacks though, simply to Flash Step behind an enemy, and make it so that you face towards their back.

Release Phrase: Eiji slides his middle and index fingers across the blade whilst saying, "Release Taiyou Megumi."
Appearance: The whole sword glows a certain orangish yellow, almost golden glow, making it look like the surface of the sun (with small spots and prominences). Eiji's reiatsu becomes visible, and seems to pull on everyone around him. Where his blade touches gets set on fire, raising the temperature around him to a blistering heat.

• Solar Prominence (Kuen) Whenever Eiji swings his sword in Shikai, an arch of intense flame, like a solar prominence, is released from his sword matching the direction and speed of the swing and travels about 50 feet. This sets inanimate objects and the landscape ablaze as well as causes medium burns on an opponent.
• Dragon Fang (Ryūge): Eiji jumps up in the air. Upon returning to the ground Eiji impales the ground with his sword, creating a pillar of solar fire that erupts from under his opponent. 10 feet in radius.
• Sunspot (Kokuten): Holding the sword out in front of him, a large ball of fire is generated on the tip of his sword, then launched at his opponent at a moderately high speed. Very powerful, but hard to do often.
Bankai
Banki's Name: Taiyō ikari (Sun's Wrath)
Release Phrase: Bankai! Taiyō ikari!
Appearance: Same as Shikai, though now, there are 6 large wings (3 on each side) made of fire sprouting from his back. The wings are white, displaying the intense how powerful his flame is. When he speaks there is also a female voice behind him. This voice has a powerful, yet gentle tone to it. It is his Zanpakuto.

• White Solar Prominence (Shiro Kuen): Stronger then the shikai form, these ones can actually burn down to the soul. travels for 100 feet quickly
• Solar Shot (Taiyō no Satsuei): Slamming his blade into the ground by a vertical cut, 5 tire sized suns appear around him and begin to circle like the solar system. They last 5 posts, and can be sent off at will to the opponent at the speed of an arrow, though Eiji mainly uses them as shields.
• Bright Light of the Goddess (Megami no Azayaka Kei): In an eruption of pure blinding light, Eiji releases his reiatsu in a burst of intense electro magnetic radiation, causing sun burns and dehydration to all those around him resulting in a loss of strength and speed. Also, those looking at him may be blinded (2 posts)

Background History: Eiji was born into one of the more recently noble families of the Soul Society, the Yatozen. The Yatozen are a mafia styled family in a lot of ways and became known as one of the more skilled families. Early on, Eiji and his brother Rin were trained to become Soul Reapers, not getting the chance to live "normal" childhoods. This took a toll on Eiji as he longed for something more. Of course, he never acted on his wishes and instead, settled for hanging with his older brother. He and his brother were extremely close, almost spending all of their spare time together. Eiji looked up to him and sought to be like him for a while. After he had become 16, Eiji was admitted into the Shinigami academy along with his brother. Eiji didn't know it at the time but he had abnormally large spiritual pressure for a kid his age and this was noted by the higher ups. At first, it seemed like he was just a klutz, failing almost every task and barely passing the simple ones.This went on for a while and they were going to kick him out, but then his parents passed. Eiji, surprisingly wasn't too sad, or at least he didn't show it. Eiji decided that day, he would pass the shinigami academy for his parents sake and bring glory to their family name.
For the average student, it takes 6 years to graduate the academy. Eiji did it in 4 and surprised everyone. Of course, he was still behind his brother but that was to be expected because they were in different age groups. Upon his arrival he was admitted into 3rd Division and held the 5th seat. It remained that way for 120 years, due to extreme laziness as he got older. Though the older he got, the wiser he became. He chose not to do much work, simply because he didn't feel like shouldering the responsibility, though all the while he was undergoing extensive training on his own time. Training for 120 years can do wonders for someone, and during that time he perfected his Shikai and began perfecting his Bankai. After showing some initiative, Eiji was transferred to 7th Division, 3rd Seat and Eiji couldn't have been happier. During his time in that position, he experienced much. One night on a routine patrol, Eiji and his squad members were overrun by a group of hollow. 4 out of the 6 that went out that night never made it back. Eiji and the 5th Seat at the time returned okay, but Eiji had changed that night. Almost losing his life and watching his comrades die made him change for the better. He gained a more mature outlook on life and remembered the promise that he made on the day of his parent's death. After 40 years of hard work and teaching classes at the academy, he was promoted to captain of 7th Division. It wasn't just that though, the previous captain had recently passed away so Eiji has some big shoes to fill. Eiji has been captain of 7th Division for almost a year now and his legend is still unfolding.
