【ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬＩＴＹ】 ✎ Playful. That's one really good word to describe me. I like teasing and small, inoffensive pranks and games. Winter ones are my favorite-- snowboarding and skiing and tubing and tobogganing and snowball fights-- it's just so fun! But I also enjoy running and generally being active, so I spend a lot of time playing games of one type or another. I also really like teaching other people how to do things, so when I'm older think I may be a gym teacher or something when I'm older, although I hate studying and stuff... so maybe I'll do a trade instead..? Hmm... well, anyways. That's me!

【ＨＩＳＴＯＲＹ】 ✎ Because Ale was sick so much when we were really little I was always really busy. I played sports, but I also wanted to be there for my twin when she needed it—even if it means that I had to play that stupid piano. When we were little there’s no question that our favorite time of year was winter because Ale always felt better and we could go skiing, although I always preferred to snow board. Although Mom and Dad never seemed to support it much… It's sort of hard, talking about them, because I did something that got them really hurt. I didn’t think about it at the time, but leaving Ale with them to run to the arcade wasn’t a very good idea. I mean, mom said it was okay but when Ale said that she wanted me to stay with her… I just wish I had listened.

To explain a little more clearly, what happened was I got caught. Not by a security guard or a kidnapper, but by something even scarier. It was a monster, straight out of Halloween town—I was so scared that I screamed, I didn’t know what to do and no matter how hard I kicked nothing was helping at all. The next thing I remembered was hitting the floor and running. My dad had tackled whatever was holding me and mom was covering Ale who got into a coughing fit. The next thing I remember after that is blood. There was a lot of it, and all I could think about was getting me and Ale out of there. I made her get on my back and I ran. There were people everywhere, they were panicking but nobody was getting help for my mom and dad. By the time we got out of the mall we were both in tears, and the only reason why I had enough strength to kick the goat-man’s face in when he grabbed us was because I thought he was going to hurt Ale. It didn’t help, though, because we still somehow wound up getting dragged into a car. Ale was unconscious but I refused to remove from her side. Even though the satyr wasn’t a threat (how was I supposed to know that?!), I never stopped protecting my sister.

When we got to the camp I didn’t leave Ale’s side even once, and I didn’t sleep for three days until she woke up. She was fine, and in fact Ale told me she felt better than she ever had before, but I was still worried. I guess I didn’t really calm down until I was allowed to call Mom and Dad and make sure they were okay. Thankfully they were, although my dad would be in the hospital for quite a while, and they apologized for lying to us and explained the whole situation. Which still doesn’t really make sense, but I gave up trying to rationalize it. I’ve never been good at thinking-academic-ie stuff anyways.
