What's your favorite genre? Both to read, and to write.

My favorite genre to read and write would be fantasy of course. My least favorite would be horror since I'm so easily scared and then I can't sleep for like a month.

I love reading Murder/Mystery. I mostly write fantasy however i do have two Murder/Mystery stories. I HATE romance. I cant write horror. . . does that count? lol

Snowblazer I love reading Murder/Mystery. I mostly write fantasy however i do have two Murder/Mystery stories. I HATE romance. I cant write horror. . . does that count? lol This. Exactly. Tho, I would love to give it a try with Horror. But I'm sure I suck at it.

I wanna try a kinda suspense novel it stars an evil Dark Elf who is a demon and steals souls and I'll suspensefully kill off humans who get too close. I also love reading murder mysteries and fantasy novels I loved Murder on The Orient Express.

I enjoy righting fantasy.
I love to read Fantasy, romance, horror/murder and sci-fi.
Fantasy and romance are the only things I can right (Apart from a sci-fi romance I have just started.)

Fantasy/Urban Fantasy is my favorite to read and write. I also like to write horror, drama and romance (not necessarily all in the same story!). For my least favorite I'd have to say Scifi. Most of them are centered around space and the like and that just doesn't interest me whatsoever.

I love writing fantasy that involves a bit of romance, but i really can't write much else. However i'll read almost anything as long as its not horror.

I really love Horror as my first pick, along with Murder/Mystery stories (Edgar Allen Poe fan here). Comedy/Drama comes next as long as it is: a). Ironic and b). Relatable.
I've tried writing horror stories, but I've never had any success in that part, so I hate it also. sweatdrop

My favorite would have to be supernatural/fantasy and comedy or a mixture of these. I think my least favorite is maybe... hmm.... least favorite... drama? I used to read a lot of romance but I only like them if they are sort of light and fluffy, I hate dramas where it's like long and drawn out and you just wish both the main character and their romantic interest would hurry up and die at the end. Oh yeah, my absolute least favorite is tragedy. I can handle bitter-sweet endings but tragedy makes me wanna gouge my eyes out and take back the time I wasted getting to an ending that just makes me feel depressed. So uh.. yeah xp

i love reading fantasy books that take you to a different world
that or books that tell an extraordinary real-life or realistic fictional event or incident
generally, i just like books that deal with emotions, but never of romance
when i write, however, it is often of horror or suspense
not that i like it that way, it just comes out naturally for me
but i'd love to write fantasy someday

I enjoy writing Supernatural/Romance things.
It doesn't always have to do with your generic supernatural either.
And most of the time, there is love in the things I write.
Sometimes I add comedy and action, just to give it a more human feel, but mostly Supernatural/Romance.
I enjoy reading Supernatural too.
But I also enjoy reading Comedy and Action.
Least favorite...
Hmm, I guess that would be fantasy.
Only cause I've never really gotten into it.

Read: fantasy, fiction
Write: fantasy, somewhat supernatural, fiction.
Least favorite to read: Horror, but oddly enough I like to write it sometimes.
Least favorite to write: Non-fiction, auto biography-type (I hate when my Writing teacher makes us write about something that happened to us in RL)

i really like Fantasy, because the world of fantasies is so big and unlimited =) i guess thats why its called Fantasy...
however i dont only write and read Fantasy stories, i also love the genre romance. in every stories of mine there is always Little of romance in it.
lately ive discovered my love for Thriller books. i dont know why, since im scared of horrorstories, but i enjoy reading how People gets murdered and such...
what i dont like... hmm its dificult to say, there is no specific genre i dont like, perhaps biographical books
