So, apparently, thinking is something that i do now....
Anyways, I was thinking that maybe to help with advertising, we could possibly hold a series or roleplaying workshops. Help people improve on certain aspects of their current roleplaying skills. Like there could be workshops for newbies that cover the basics, and ones for more experienced roleplayers who want to work on their writing styles (want to learn to write more descriptively or focus more on characterization), there could also be workshops for learning to roleplay the opposite gender, or making new characters, and creating intriguing post formats.
But as well as a learning experience, it would be a good social experience too. It would give people the chance to meet new roleplayers and get to know the planning team better.
I think it could work, because there are many different people here that have talents in many different aspects. There will always be someone who knows what they are doing. For example, I would never be able to run a descriptive writing workshop, but I would be great for anything that has to do with character, or writing that focuses on characterization. The brilliant part is you wouldn't need me to run something that i'm not good at because there's probably someone here that is good at it.
So, yeah that's my idea. It's a little intricate... but i'm ready to work hard. And if we weren't meant to think big, we shouldn't have been given these wonderful brains to begin with. c:
