Personality: Deep down, Zaname is a kind and gentle person to the people she likes and trusts. But around other Arrancar, she has a cold, distant tone, with a secret disgust for all hollows. She is loyal to those she trusts, but would rather do things alone then trust another to help her.

Physical Description:
Zaname is a woman who looks to be in her late 20's, with long black hair that goes past her butt. Her bangs are long as well, one going in between her eyes and stopping about the tip of her nose. Her skin is somewhat pale, as she tends to stay out of the sunlight. She has somewhat large breasts ( as most bleach characters do, but picture doesn't show it.) with her Mark of the Reina on her right breast, and her hole in between her collarbones.
Her outfit is loose on her, with the exception of when she zips her top up to her neck. Her top is long, with somewhat short sleeves that stop just below her elbows. The zipper for it starts just below her breasts and goes up to her neck. the lower part is open, showing her stomache. Her arms are bandaged up, and wears fingers gloves with the index and middle fingers and thumb cut off of them at the middle knuckle, the thumb cut off just shy of her palm.
She wears the typical Arrancar Heiiro, the bottom of it ragged and worn. she wears a loose belt that holds her 4 1/2' Zanpaku-to, Viento Dragón. She wears white short high heels.
Her mask fragment is in the left side of her head, in the shape of a strange dragon claw, wrapping around the the back of her head.

Manner of Death:
Experimentation conducted by Aizen's Successor.. Experiment was to pull a soul from a living person and transform that person into an Arrancar. Zaname was that person. The experiment was a success...

Skills:
Zaname is exceptional with the sword, wielding it with such grace and precision. Her strikes are like a dance, each strike almost always hitting their mark. She is also a master tactician, also making her one of the smartest Arrancar in Hueco Mundo.

When Zaname releases, her arms, and legs are covered in white bone. Along her arms, several white spike like protrusions emerge, the first being the longest. Her arms act like her wings if you will, seeing how her release is a dragon of wind. The mask fragment on her head forms into a dragon skull like helmet, with three long spines on the sides of her head flaring out from her temples. The teeth along the front of her dragon skull are a bit long, going with her bangs to cover her eyes. Her hair forms into a long braid, with an armor like bone covering her hair to the middle of her back, starting at the back of the skull. This braid is used at her tail.
Her outfit is completely removed, leaving a sort of bone armor on her body, slightly covering her breasts and her abdomen like a sort of bone bikini.
While in this form, she usually doesnt speak, and silently she cries, her tears blood red, and streaking down her cheeks.

History:
History Before Death:
Zaname was a mother of two very young twin daughters, Hikari and Aya. She was a widow since their birth, and cared for them on her own. three years after their birth, Zaname suddenly passed away.
History After Death:
Zaname was an experiment done by Aizen's successor, to see if a Whole's soul could be pulled from a living person, and turned into an Arrancar. He succeeded in Zaname, unknowing exactly what he had awoken. Zaname developed a hatred unlike anything ever seen toward her 'murderer.' Zaname decided to make her way to becoming the Cero Espada, then the Reina at all cost, even if it meant cutting down her 'fellow' Arrancar, whom which she had no respect for.
After Aizen's successor's death, she assumed the Leadership of the Espada. Soon after becoming the leader, Zaname began to make secret frequent trips to the world of the Living. Here she kept an eye on her duaghters, making sure no harm can came to them. Over the years that she watched over them, more and more hollows had made attempts on their lives, just to meet their end at her hands. After keeping an eye on them for over 90 years, they passed away, moving onto the Soul Society.
At their deaths, Zaname swore to never draw Viento Dragón ever again.
