So, I know there are a few other Lolitas in the Guild and a few others interested in Lolita. So, I figured I'd start a topic. ^.^

I have researched Lolita Fashion for years but always been inspired by Lolita. However it wasn't until recently that I finally started buying/making a few pieces for myself. It was actually around the beginning of the year that I took the dive and made this outfit. Since then my Lolita wardrobe has exploded but it remains a decent mix of Brand and Home/Handmade.

So now that I shaded my story, lol, I guess the question/topic should be does anyone else make their own Lolita outfit? Anyone want to share pics/tips/tricks/ideas?

:3 I've been working on a few on and off.
A Fairy kei skirt with bats, eyes, and stars
A steampunk skirt with a mechanical carousel print
And a sweet skirt of a glittery unicorn rainbow fabric.
SLow work though, considering all I do >.<

Lol Personally, I find myself with all the time I want to devote to it since I'm self employed and I just sell my designs. Anything I really like, I keep for myself : P

Aww, the hard part is just finding a good print or figuring what to do with solids. Prints are soo easy cause the fabric does all the work lol.
I have been busy, Made a whole collection of Lolita inspired outfits

It's really fun and easy if you can get a basic pattern. you could make a million dresses from one pattern by just changing the print razz

yum_cupcake Those were the reasons that inspired me to buy the sewing machine. I have just, since buying it, have a new found respect for people who can sew. I never knew just how challenging it was to do. Not that I thought it was as easy as cake, but I did not know it would be as difficult. cat_whee
