I find the story of Ruth to be very comforting and beautiful!
1.) I Think Ruth was a very loving woman. She was strong and had great integrity without being hard. In reading the story I think of a soft woman who is fierce... if that makes sense sweatdrop
2.) I believe Ruth's choices were selfless. I believe they were made out of a pure love for her mother in-law
3.) Boaz is a man of integrity. He could have just as easily gone about things in a wrong way, but he looked into the matter and did all he could on his part to do things the right way. I think we as women have a lot to learn from this.
4.) I believe it was God's will that Ruth end up with Boaz so I don't really have much to say about the man.
5.) I could never have stayed with my mother in-law. I did not love that woman in any way and I still do not. I have a lot of things held within myself that I am learning to forgive in dealing with her. I think Naomi was a wonderful woman. She was strong and so loving. She was honest from the get go and I have great respect for her. I believe Ruth and Naomi's love for each other is a bound many mother & daughter in-law relationships don't even come close to having.
6.) I believe the story over all should be something women who are looking to date/get married should study and really meditate on it. It is something we can all learn from! I believe it is a story of love in a most rare pure form between human beings. It's my favorite book in the old testament by far!

Ruth is one of my all time favorite chapters of the Bible. I have always felt very close to this story, along with the book of Esther but that's another story. XD
I think Ruth was a very amazing woman. She was very kind to Naomi, and she chose, essentially, God, when she made her choice to move with Naomi, a choice I believe had to have been very difficult for her. She left behind everything she knew to move to a strange land where the only person she would know was her mother in law. God honored her, however, and Joseph (Mary's husband) became a direct descendant of hers. (I'm not sure if Mary was also or not, I can only ever find Joseph's family tree in the Bible.)
I think the man that she married was a very Godly man who did all that he could to make sure he did what was right. As for the guy that wouldn't marry her, I have no bad thoughts on him. I believe it was in his right to set his boundaries and say that he didn't wish to marry her. I also believe that Ruth was mean to marry Boaz anyways, so I believe it all fell into God's plan.
Staying with her mother in law had to have been a hard choice, but I think it was a selfless choice. She had to give up everything she knew and loved, but she still gave up the ongodly land that she lived in and chose to live with her mother in law and serve the God of her mother in law. The love that she had for Naomi was amazing as well, and I think it was a very kind and Godly thing for her to do to go with the woman and take care of her.
Overall, I truly love this story because there are so so many things to learn from it. Just one of the things that I take from this story is that if you do what is right, God will see it and honor it.

Dawn Landers I saw a cartoon on her Ruth there on youtube.com . I am trilled she married Boaz and I love the fact she didnt let Satan get to her, like how Satan stock folks waiting to devour with his evil self and tricks. I am also leeping with joy when I heard on wikipedia Ruth is one of Jesus Christ's great great great something grandmother. The power of a dedicated woman I greatly look at, I just wish men would stop looking down on women as if women are weak, these type of men are still dreaming wich is many in legions. I hate it when other girls and women hide in large groups when one simple man walk in on them by mistake, for good grief he is like a mouse in a room with a din of cheetahs with a human brain controlling every cheetah.
